S3 E16: Hunting for Clues

Rou and Eight follow Shepherd to his cabin in the woods, where they have been offered a safe place to sleep. Hunter appears to still be missing, and his absence is clear in the disarray of the cabin. As Rou and Shepherd sleep, Eight spends their time tidying the cabin and then pokes around to see if they can find out more about their host.

During their search, they find Hunter’s journal. The last entry mentions a young woman and a meeting with her in a grove of trees, where a flower named Starlight Bloom can be found. The group decides that heading there is the best course of action and takes off. When they arrive at the grove Hunter had written about, they find something out of place among the trees.
