Jason Hann (Percussionist with The String Cheese Incident)

Welcome to Roadcase, a podcast exploring the live music experience!!  Hop on the Roadcase bus for this great conversation with Jason Hann of The String Cheese Incident.  Jason has been killing it on percussion with the band for almost 20 years now and has also worked with a plethora of amazing musicians in the studio and in a live music setting.  Having grown up in Miami, Jason was influenced by Afro-Caribbean beats and began his musical exploration in his early days at a performing arts high school. Since then, Jason travelled the world in the US Navy, and then settled in Southern California where he honed his craft and eventually connected with his current bandmates.  The String Cheese Incident has faced some challenges when a band member recently tested positive for Covid and the band was forced to cancel several shows. But this is a temporary setback; String Cheese will be back on the road soon, bringing its high-energy and eclectic brand of music to its massive fanbase.  Come join us for this fun and informative conversation with the one and only Jason Hann --  it's a really great ride!!
