Anjimile (Singer Songwriter)

Welcome to Roadcase!!  We're delighted to have the artist Anjimile on the show this week. Anjimile's latest album, Giver Taker, confronts their difficult journey as a trans person as well as their struggle with addiction to alcohol with honesty and conviction. Anjimile grew up outside Dallas, and spent several years studying in Boston and escaping what they felt was a suffocating environment in Texas. Now sober after a long stint in several rehab facilities, Anjimile has also faced head-on their gender identity road with courage, honesty and introspection. As reflected in their gorgeous and strikingly blunt lyrics, the journey was not an easy one but one that has been an inspiring touchstone for the many fans they have gained in their young career.  So hop on the Roadcase bus for this inspiring story of perseverance and personal strength with Anjimile. It's gonna be a great ride!!
