Another mind blowing week with my sister Suzy in L.A. We went to the last two shows EVER of Slayer, two nights of King Diamond, AND the Stadium Tour press conference with Motley Crue, Poison, and Def Leppard. I met so many amazing wonderful people and pretty much all of my musical heroes since I was a kid. This was probably the BEST week ever in my 43 years. FUCKIN SLAYER!!!!!! www.road-grime.com
Spent 5 days thrashing through the Pacific Ocean with my sister Suzy on the Megacruise and had the time of my life!!! From L.A. to San Diego to Ensenada, Mexico then back to L.A. with some of my favorite bands of all time.....a dream come true once in a life time mind blowing experience that I'll never forget!!! www.road-grime.com

My friend Sherri and I took our annual baseball stadium tour down to Florida this year to watch the Yankees play the Devil Rays in Tampa. We kidnapped my dad for a long weekend and celebrated his 80th Birthday in baseball style. www.road-grime.com
After settling in on our last night on the road, Lady Fred and I reminisce of our Memorial Weekend adventure with Flash and Trinket. From racing trains on Route 66 to out running tornadoes on our way home, we had one of the best times on our long weekend getaway to the Springfield Mile. Our last day in Cuba was the best! It started with a two hour car ride through the countryside to Vinales where we stopped at a look out in the mountains to take in the beautiful scenery. We then drove to a privately owned tobacco farm where we got to ride horses through the tobacco fields and learned a lot about the tobacco plants, the sugar canes, rum, and the coffee beans. We spent day 3 in Havana visiting a market place for souvenirs, touring the Presidential Palace and learning about the revolution, exploring Obispo Street, and eating lunch at one of Hemingway's favorite El Floridita. After returning to our casa, Tracy and I walked a few blocks to the Hotel Nacional for a couple of Mafia Mojitos at the Hall of Fame Bar then continued to explore the neightborhood. www.road-grime.com
Our second day in Cuba was spent meeting some of the beautiful people and exploring different parts of Havana. We got to visit a sweet couple Magaly and Lazaro who gave us a tour of their home. Then we stopped and visited a 99 year young lady named Angela before we headed to Havana's Colonial Plazas to learn about some of the history of this beautiful place. My friend Tracy and I flew to Havana Cuba for a week of fun and adventure. Both being virgin world travelers, we were amazed by everything we saw and started to fall in love with Havana. Day 1 consisted of being picked up from the airport in a red '59 Pontiac, exploring the city, and eating our first delicious Cuban meal before settling into our casa by the ocean. Another successful Polar Plunge in the books! Team Cycle Jerks raised over $2000 for the Special Olympics and the whole Muskegon event raised over $100,000!! This year's crew included Kim, Lin, Mel, Julie, and myself as we dressed up in A League Of Their Own costumes.....with Lin, Mel, and Julie being virgin plungers. My sister Suzy flew into Chicago from LA to join me in taking our Mom to her very first Ozzy Osbourne concert. She had said she has always wanted to see Ozzy so I got us tickets for her birthday present. Today I took 9 of my pals skydiving. Tracy, Clara, Julie, Lisa, Kim, Dan, Judy, Nan, Bobby, and me all took to the skies at Skydive Grand Haven as friends and family cheered us on. My Mom and I flew out to Billings, MT on Tuesday August 14th and rented a car for a week to go explore the Great Out West. We visited the Battle of Little Big Horn on the first day and ended up in Buffalo, WY by the second night just missing Longmire Days which was the previous weekend. We then drove through the beautiful country side into Cody, WY by the third day and took in a rodeo of coarse. On the way to Muskegon, MI for the Polar Plunge with my fellow jumpers Kim, Heidi, Pauly, and our D.D. Scott. This is my 3rd year jumping into Muskegon Lake in the dead of winter to raise money for the Special Olympics. This year, Team Cycle Jerks raised over $1500 and had a blast jumping as Huge Jorgan and the Playboy Bunnies. Again, the key to jumping into a frigid icy Michigan lake in January is LOTS of whiskey........which is why there is no post jump podcast. LoL www.road-grime.com...
Hanging out at my sister's apartment with Suzy and Mom getting a buzz on and talking about the past 4 days in L.A. From the Loud Wire Music Awards to Bubba Gump shrimp on the Santa Monica pier to celebrity graveyards, my favorite motorcycle shop, and Nikki Sixx. Day 6 of our Route 66 adventure lands us just west of Albuquerque. Mom and I had a blast exploring New Mexico! Took a detour south of the Mother Road to Roswell to see if the truth is really out there and also stopped and visited Billy the Kid's final resting place. After catching back up to 66, we had a fender bender in Albuquerque and had to get a new car. All turned out well at 2000 miles in.www.road-grime.com
