This morning we begin a 2-3 week series entitled CAPITALIZE! One of the great strategies the Evil One uses in our lives is “divide and conquer”! He tempts us to compartmentalize our lives which keeps us from capitalizing on the Grace God gives us. So, over the next few weeks, we’ll explore how to capitalize in life whether we’ve been given much or just a little. Music courtesy of Hooksounds.com
Today we join our hearts together to celebrate the Goodness of God! Music courtesy of Hooksounds.com

We continue our summer teaching series COLLIDE, we examine the life of a powerful political and military leader. Though he actually asked one of the most important questions recorded in the Gospels, his propensity for “people pleasing” caused him to miss the greatest opportunity of his life. As we study his encounter with Jesus, we will take some time of introspection to examine our own lives and see how our tendencies toward people-pleasing may be robbing us of life transforming, GOD-moments! In this third message in the COLLIDE series, Pastor Joe Still shares how the LORD has a personal word for each of us from the unique account found in the fourth chapter of John’s Gospel. What began as a daily chore turned into a radical, life-transforming encounter. John recounts the events of a despised, disheartened, and discarded woman, whose life COLLIDES with the Good News Jesus has for her personally as she meets him at a well. I’m excited to be launching our July teaching series that we’ve entitled “COLLIDE”. Each week we’ll examine a life that was on a collision course with GOD-in-the-Flesh! We’ll see how through that face-to-face encounter their habits or hurts or hang-ups were forever transformed and their world view forever reshaped. We’ll also see how Jesus still meets those needs in the lives of those of men and women today. This morning we’ll see what happens when our doubts “COLLIDE” with Jesus. It may seem st...
This morning Pastor Guy Smith will open God’s Word to us and lead us to think about GOD’s great plan for HIS people to pray for and bless the place where HE has planted us. Music Courtesy of Hooksounds.com
Today we continue our journey through the book of Ephesians where God’s Word calls us to UNITY! Music courtesy of Hooksounds.com
Often on Father’s Day we think about gifts for dad. This morning we’ll take some time to gaze at the very first gift ever given by our FATHER and opened by humanity. It may very well be the best gift ever given by our FATHER and the best gift any father can give. Music courtesy of Hooksounds.com
In this sermon by Pastor Joe Still we look into Paul's magnificent prayer for the Ephesian church found in Ephesians 3:14-19. In this prayer Paul prays that they would be granted power through the Holy Spirit to comprehend and know the immeasurable depths of God's love for them in order that their lives would be transformed to the glory of God. Today we will also celebrate God’s Goodness to us as a church as several from our family share about what the LORD has already done as well as some new Kingdom adventures in which HE is inviting us to join HIM. Music courtesy of Hooksounds.com
Please know that today will be different in order and form. And, even though the “preaching” will not feel normal today, (I know some of you are thinking “it’s never normal around here”), we will be proclaiming the Good News of God’s marvelous Love through the vision that HE has given us for ministry as a church. I’m praying that GOD will stir our hearts today to commit for the first time, or recommit afresh, to be the church GOD has called Riverbluff to be in our “AOA”, in our City, in our Nati...

In this sermon by Pastor Joe Still we look at Ephesians 2:11-22. Here we see God continue to carry out His plan, after the resurrection of Jesus, through His people that are known as the Church. Through Jesus, God has united both Jews and Gentiles into one Body as His people for His possession and His purposes. God calls the church to live out of their identity as a people united by God and for God. This unity serves as an apologetic of God's grace and goodness to the world. Music courtesy of Ho...
In this sermon, we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ and all of the wonder and glory of this miraculous event. God raised Jesus from the dead. This means that faith in Him is not futile! In fact, putting our total trust in Jesus and building our lives around His teachings is the only effective and hope-filled way to live in this increasingly challenging world. The irrefutable resurrection of Jesus makes trusting Him for everything in life the best decision anyone will ever make. Music c...
On this Sunday before we gather to celebrate the greatest day in history, EASTER, we open God’s Word to a defining moment in the earthly life of Jesus. Palm Sunday was the first time Jesus would publicly accept the title of King. However; He wouldn’t live out that role in the long-awaited, religiously-anticipated way. Jesus would be King, but He would be a different kind of King, ushering in an unanticipated method of ruling and reigning. Yes, He would come and crush His enemies. He would not do...
