Firmly Established: Mature in Christ (Colossians 2:1-5) - Firmly Established
The truth of Jesus Christ is your way to abundance and maturity.

The truth of Jesus Christ is your way to abundance and maturity.
Fruitfulness in your commission from God is the overflow of faithfulness in your communion with God. ‘Christ in you, the hope of glory.’
"'Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus. Just to take Him at His word. Just to rest upon His promise. Just to know, 'thus saith the Lord.'" - Louisa Stead
Jesus is the reason for your existence.
Being firmly established in Christ means being firmly established in prayer and thanksgiving.
“Turn full your soul’s vision to Jesus, and look and look at Him, and a strange dimness will come over all that is apart from Him.” – Lilias Trotter
Jesus isn’t just a powerful means to another end. He is the end, and knowing Him is the point. When we miss Jesus, we will miss true meaning and purpose altogether.
Be angry and do not sin.
Your love for Jesus is a direct response for His love for you.
Faith isn't blind, unbelief is. Faith sees through the lies that suppress the truth.
The resurrection changes everything.
What will you do with Jesus, the man called Christ?
Our walk with Christ is not by physical sight, but by faith.
The crowd seeks the gift, but the disciple seeks The Giver.
The invitation of salvation and restoration is an invitation to actively rest in Jesus Christ.
You are the woman at the well.
Redemption doesn’t come through religion, it comes through Rebirth. In order to see and receive Christ for who He is, you must be born again.
Jesus looks beyond the masks, labels, and struggles, and speaks right to our true identity. And He’s calling us to do the same.
When you share life in Christ, you’ll share life like Christ.
To share life like Christ, you must be sharing life in Christ.
Prayer in the Spirit is more than a one-way presentation to God, it’s a two-way conversation with God.
True Joy is only found in God’s presence.

Remember in the dark what you heard in the light.
All the promises of God find their “yes” in Christ. None of the promises of Satan ever find a “yes.”
Drawing near to God and each other, and inviting all who don’t know him into this Gospel Family is how we demonstrate true thanksgiving for the grace of God in Christ!
Is your life characterized by shrinking back from the holy presence of God, or drawing near? Is it the insecure terror of Mount Sinai, or the unshakeable joy of Mount Zion?
God’s discipline is designed to draw you near and shower you with His love as His legitimate children.
Rivet your eyes on Jesus, consider the heritage of courage and testimony that surrounds you, and run the race He’s set before you with joyful abandon!
