The Gospel of Luke is filled with various encounters Jesus has with various types of people. When studying these encounters it becomes apparent Jesus had a Whoever you are. However you feel. Whatever you've done attitude. To all types of people he made the same invitation to come and follow him. In this encounter, Jesus validates a 'sinful woman' in the presence of a 'righteous' Pharisee to inform everyone that God does not look at our past but rather our potential. Additionally, the actions of the forgiven woman shows what a life of gratitude looks like
