Chameleons change their color based on mood, temperature, and to communicate with their fellow lizards.

Some chameleons can only even transition between green, gray, and brown as a means to keep cool or warm. Blind chameleons have no trouble changing their colors at all because it has nothing to do with the dependence of the color of their environment.
