Nurse Noise RIPEcast Guest Mix

On this weeks episode of the Space Cowboys RIPEcast we are featuring a special guest mix from Nurse Noise of the Venus Groove Collective and 3 Degrees. Here is a bit more about Nurse Noise: Bio: Nurse Noise specializes in cross-genre booty-shaking, bass-heavy, good-time feeling beats. She believes the attitude behind the decks is just as important as the music selection and mixing. With a background in performance arts, you might find her dancing on speakers to get the crowd going. Nurse Noise is the co-founder of a unique live dance and DJ collaboration called the Venus Groove Collective. Lee-Anne is one of the pioneers to DJ in a virtual reality club at High Fidelity (an open source platform that anyone can log into from a desktop). She has a weekly show at High Fidelity at Rust (the night club) on Thursdays from 4-5pm. Additionally, she contributes to the 3 Degrees community that actively throws campout festivals. Starting her DJ career in 1996 in college radio at KSCU and then KUSF, Nurse Noise had a prime-time radio show for seven years called "The Treatment Show". Gradually she worked her way on to the decks through her Burning Man camps: Magic Glasses, Coda, & Illuminaughty.
