David and Joel celebrate two Y2K pop girls who didn't want to be like 'Most Girls'. At the dawn of the Britney-Xtina-Mandy-Jessica Pop Princess era, P!nk (Alecia Moore - no relation to Mandy) and Vitamin C (aka Colleen Ann Fitzpatrick) exploded on the scene full of attitude and determined to rule on their own terms. We cover P!nk's breakout years with her first two albums - the feisty R&B-flavoured debut "Can't Take Me Home", the career-shaking'Lady Marmalade' collab, and the mega successful "M!ssundaztood" era when she teamed up with Linda Perry and transitioned into a rockier sound. We also dive into Vitamin C's career, as David tries to explain to Joel why he loves the V.C. so much (there are scrapbooks, kids!).
