I think his biceps are the size of my torso . So , uh , yeah , I gotta go with the rock on that one . And , tony , do you got us now ? We got you back here .

hell . No , they're not overrated , they're fun , man , even I mean . They're ageless . You know , you don't have to be a kid , you don't have to be . You know I'm mid-50s dude , give me a good halloween party with some friends . It's fun . I mean it's , you know it is . It's fun , it's a .
It's a crazy time of the year and you know it says seasonal change and you're rolling into a new season . But it's fun , it's a . It's a , it's , it's just fun . We'll just leave it at that .
All right , it's just fun . But DeMarco , what about you ?
Yeah , I'm going , I'm going with . It's not overrated . I think it's actually underrated . I think I'll speak for my generation right now coming out . I think people don't have enough Halloween parties .
You see a lot in college and stuff , but then you know , once you exit college I don't think you see my generation getting together as friends and and doing halloween parties . I think there needs to be more of that um , post-college um , but I definitely think it's a timeless thing . Like rusty said , I think there needs to be more of it .
I mean , I like , I love , I love the big three right here . You know you got halloween november . Christmas halloween's probably the least you know , definitely least out of importance of those three , but it's a good one to kick off with your friends and have fun . So I think you need to have them all right lando .

I got to say they're they're underrated . I grew up , I live , 10 minutes from a college town and people are always out and about , especially at Kent State , and I went to Halloween parties at Kent State , so I got to say that they're severely underrated .

man again , I love all things halloween , so I'm gonna say they're . I'm gonna say they're underrated when I was in grads I was having this conversation the other day .
When I was in grad school , we threw a rager halloween party and we called it the halloween party with all capital , the , and we had about a hundred people come through , over a hundred people come through , five dollars at the door , jungle juice , and we had the whole thing and it was probably , by far not being biased the best party I'd ever been to in my
life . So we need more of those in our society . You know what I mean , so I'm all for it .

Definitely underrated . I mean from probably from the time I was young to now . I've never been to a bad Halloween party . I mean they're from time I was young to now . I've never been to a bad Halloween party . I mean they're the best parties of the year in my personal opinion . You're always going to have fun . It's just a good time .
Absolutely . I mean I wouldn't say they're overrated , I wouldn't say they're underrated . I think they put that line just right . You know , I love a good Halloween party . Uh , it's fun to get out . I haven't been to one in , uh hell like eight , nine , probably 10 years now . But you know , I'm a busy man , I , I , it never fails .
I typically always have shows coming over around halloween , uh , so I can't really do any parties , but I , they were fun while they , while I had them and while I was there . But JJ , I know you're going to love this one and I think I know where you're going to go with this question here . But who wins in a fight ?
Freddie Krueger , michael Myers , jason or Chucky Michael Myers ? I mean , I mean , I'm a little biased .
So , um , yeah , he definitely wins . I mean I'm a little biased , so yeah , he definitely wins . I mean , Freddie , he only kills people who are in their sleep . I don't think Michael Myers sleeps , so he's out , eliminated . Jason , he's only good in the woods and down there on Camp Crystal Lake . He can't come to Haddonfield and deal with Michael Myers .
He takes the L there . Chucky's a doll . Get him out of here , Kick him out the way . And who else did you say ? Who was the ?

Okay , brandon , what about you ? This is a good question . I think over the past few years I've become more fond of Mike Myers because I just love his . He's just a sinister dude and you know , we don't know if he's what he's , what keeps him going Like I have no idea . So , like I don't know , I'm going to go ahead and say Michael Myers .

Yeah , I'm bringing the same energy as JJ Listen to me michael myers . Michael myers is the greatest halloween character of all the halloween movies like don't hit me with the chucky crap , don't hit me with . I don't even think I've seen nightmare on elm street .
Don't have to , don't care , because all I know , when you think halloween you think michael myers , you think the mask , you think the shadow , you think everything about michael myers . It has to do with halloween . I don't need to see nightmare on all street , I don't need to see camp crystal , egg bs with , with whatever , whoever .
Jason like michael myers is the epitome of a horror villain .
It's him , it's nobody else hey , rusty are going to have a clean sweep . It's Michael Myers for the sweep . But JJ Jason's not just good in the woods . Remember that cat rolled through Manhattan too .
Oh yeah , and tore up a cruise ship . Dude was everywhere .
Yeah , Jason was in space too . He was in space .
Yeah he was in space , dude's everywhere , but the Michael Myers character , space too . He was in space , yeah , dudes everywhere . But um , the , the michael myers character , it's one of those things that that's gonna stand the test of time , and the whole the whole story . Now I don't .
I'm sure everybody's seen the latest , latest one , so there is really only one way to get rid of the guy . But um , yeah , he's , he's a bad man and he does it so slow . He's like the tortoise in the hair . Dude just keeps on cruising . He doesn't have to run , doesn't have to eat , cause he knows you're going to do something stupid .
And then I was going to be right there . Speaker 2 I was going to say he knows somebody's going to trip , they're going to break an ankle or something blow an ACL or something you know . Now , I guess it's the age of the Achilles . They're blowing out their Achilles .
You know they're trying to just live Nobody stretches anymore .
Now you got to get that good stretch in before you go into a haunted woods . You know I was torn on this one . I'm I'm a Jason fan too as well , but I'm also a huge Michael Myers fan . I mean , y'all made up a lot of good points . I gotta go with Michael Myers . I mean , I'm a Michael , so it's kind of hard not to go with a Michael .
But all right here , rusty , what's more of a scary movie to watch on Halloween ? Is that the Exorcist , or Jeepers , creepers .
Dude , I'm old school the Exorcist . The beginning of that movie , with the noise , the chains and all that rattling up in the attic is , you know , jeepers , creepers is . It's cool .
But it's too new school , old school Exorcist because especially when I first saw it I was a kid and that you know everybody when you're home alone you always hear shit in the house . It's like Whoa , what is that ? But that the start of that movie , it sets the tone for it . So yeah , on Halloween , and plus , the music is just so cool .
That Music is just so cool . That riff for the Exorcist , that's Halloween . You know we talked about Halloween parties . That's Halloween party music right there .
Absolutely , and I laughed only when you said that , because my wife's watching the Seals game in the other room and without missing a beat . When I asked that she goes Exorcist , not even close .
Like she's just answering questions from the other room she just didn't miss a beat , she was just .
I heard her go get him the exorcist , not even close like it wasn't and she didn't break pace like . But you mentioned about everyone . You know I the exorcist . That movie gets me too as well , mainly because I found out recently that the house I live in now is haunted , so that's fun .
Oh sweet , oh yeah , we got a party at your house , yeah .
Like we hear people walking upstairs when it's just my wife and I . The other day , middle of the day , the front door literally just slammed shut by itself . We're the only yeah . So we can do shots and have a seance . I'm not having any type of seance with you , rusty , I'm telling you that right now you bring your Ouija board somewhere else .
I'm not now we're not messing with that .

Jeepers , creepers , yeah , I'm going Exorcist . That's a movie like when you're a kid , I remember you know , flipping through the channels and clicking , oh , the Exorcist . And seeing the part where she's crawling down the stairs backwards yeah , that scene and being just terrified as a child , or the one where her head spins backwards , that's a scary , scary movie .
That's one that's Talk about an older movie that is still scary to this day . It's just when I think about older scary movies that and the Shining the Shining frightened me as a kid . The Exorcist really , really got me as a kid .

So a fun fact about me is , many moons ago I was studying to become a Catholic priest . That's actually what brought me to Erie . I was in the seminary and so I used to live at this place called St Mark's Seminary .
So it's literally like the hub of the Diocese of Erie Very old building , very like , very historical , but our chapel that we had there no longer is used for that , but it used to be a place where they would have actual exorcisms , and so it's freaky as hell .
I had a lot of wild experiences there that I could save for another time , so I'm always going to go with the exorcist because that's like real shit . Okay , so it's real . So that movie is freaky and there's a lot of truth behind that type of stuff .

I'm going to go with the Exorcist . I mean you can't beat that . It's a classic . It's one of the scariest movies I've seen growing up . The theme song to that is second only to the Halloween theme . And I mean that girl
¶ Underrated Scary Movies and Halloween Candy
in that movie man , I mean she just really did a whole lot of stuff . I think girl in that movie man , I mean she just really did a whole lot of stuff .
I think she did it all herself too no cgi , no extras , none of that so I think it was all her . So , yeah , hands down , that's . That's the movie . Okay , we're gonna switch it up a little bit here and ask jj , what is the worst halloween candy and why is it candy corn ?
oh , candy corn . Yes , it's disgusting . I I don't know how people can eat that . Whoever eats candy corn , they have to be a serial killer . I'm assuming um , because it's it's disgusting . I've tried it numerous occasions and it just it's nasty . I don't know how anybody can stomach that yeah , I'm not a fan of it .
uh , the whole question wasn't why is it candy ? But I kind of had a feeling that's where we're going to be going with this one . Yeah , everyone kind of shits on candy corn . Just build a sweep right now .

Yeah , they're kind of the same thing , but they're sweeter , but it's at the same time they're a little bit bigger , so you're exposed to more candy corn overdose .

Oh , um , I don't know , it wasn't it , it wasn't recent , but um , the uh , I would say my as a teenager man . I mean , you know , we just probably halfway through high school and it just got , we got more towards the Halloween party side , done I got . So you didn't .

Yeah , I distinctly remember , I think seventh grade , um , we all , we all have our friend group went out . We actually we had this one friend in the friend group who lived in the really rich neighborhood .

I think it was like junior high or early high school and then , yeah , I moved towards the parties in high school and stuff like that alright , tony , what about you ?
I'd say around freshman year , sophomore year of high school . I had a very , very little sister , so sometimes I'd go with her to help her collect candy gotcha alright , brandon .

shit , mine was last year man , I got kids . I got excuses to go . So I dressed up as a werewolf and you know that was got some candy man . It was cool .
Now you're right JJ last time I dressed up and went trick or treating was probably like 8th grade . I would probably say 8th grade high school . That was probably the last time I mean I take the say 8th grade of high school . That was probably the last time . I mean I take the kids trick-or-treating by and dress up .
I gotcha . Yeah , mine was . I think it would have been 4 years ago . My son went out .
Like everyone with kids , I had an excuse , I dressed up , we went out , but I will say the most fun I had was he went as a ghostbuster and I was just behind him playing the ghostbusters theme song the entire time and it was irritating him to no end like he kept turning around like will you stop , dad ?
I at one point he was walking to the beat of the of the music . So yeah that's still just the one proud dad moment , but he hasn't gone trick or treating since , so I kind of ruined it for my dad . So all right , jj , we're gonna stay with you . Aj , I'm going to stay with you . Oh God , this is pity here . All right , what ? I don't even think .

I am going to go with something that came out recently , that movie Smile . It's underrated , a lot of people have mixed feelings about it , but I kind of like it . I'm probably going to go see the second one that just came out . So it's that's underrated , a lot of people have mixed feelings about it , but I kind of liked it .

Yeah , I'm going to go with Saw man . I mean , I sat through that for like 15 minutes and I didn't get mad .

Yeah , one that comes to mind , like , I think , when I was in middle school um insidious came out oh yeah you want to talk about an underrated scary movie , insidious , one and two just don't forget the rest , but one and two great . Like . To me , what makes a good scary movie has got to have a good story .
It's got a great story but it's got some terrifying , terrifying parts that the music's scary it . You know me being , I think , a six or seven grade when it came out . Like you know , try to be a big tough guy when you're that age , but like shaking in my boots watching it , you know what I mean . Like , yeah , that was a scary , scary movie .
Those first two ones , man , creepy , all right , rusty , what about you ?
oh , it's not that it's underrated , it's kind of lost its luster . Amityville , the amityville horror , it's kind of like , uh , it kind of goes down that same path that the exorcist did , but it's , you know , more of the house , the spirits of the house possession as opposed to one person and that was uh the original one .
That the of the house possession as opposed to the one person , and that was uh the original one , that the seat , the spinoffs were garbage , but the original one was pretty cool . And then , of course , everybody , everywhere you went , you always saw a house that looked like that house and you'd go man , there's that house .
But yeah , amityville , it's not that it was underrated , but yeah , amityville , it's not that it was underrated , but it's kind of lost its luster and it's getting lost with everything else , but that's one that's a must-see .
I think mine for this one , and my wife again chimed in in the back after screaming at the Steelers 13 Ghosts . I don't think that movie gets enough credit . That movie , it's an amazing movie . The storyline in it is phenomenal . That's a good answer If you follow it . Yeah

, 13 Ghosts is definitely in there .
The plot twist was crazy , exactly , you don't see that coming at the end .
there it's one Halloween movie . My wife doesn't really do scary movies , but that is one that we will watch every year for Halloween .
I heard they're making a series of that that follows each of the ghosts . Each episode is going to be about that ghost .
Like a backstory that tournament .

I think the abandoned coal mine , because I'm going to by the end of that time I'd be nuts anyway , but I think the coal mine Would be pretty cool . It would be Again . It's any noise you hear , but I don't need no crazy people running around me . I'm good , I'm good . I'm good thinking I'm by myself .

I mean , I originally was thinking coal mine on this , because it's only eight hours and not having to spend the whole night . And growing up in West Virginia , you know , you kind of friends of coal , you know what I mean . But I'm going to go insane to some I'm just going to mix it up . As everyone said , coal mine , I'm going to go .
I'm going to go and be the one spend the night in the insanelam , even though I didn't make it through the entire night of the Moundsville Penitentiary overnight tour . I didn't make it through the whole night , mainly because how long did you make it ? I made it most of the night .
It was like 3 or 4 in the morning and I was like I gotta get the hell out of here . My skin was crawling at that point . Todd , that place is creepy . It's creepy in the daytime , during the day tour , and you do the overnight where the tour guides are like all right , see you in the morning and then just leave you . That that messes with .
Yeah , yeah .
They take you around in the morning so that you can see , you know everything . They tell you the history , you know who died where , what happened , blah , blah , blah , who's cell it was .
They even lock you in a cell for about 5-10 minutes which that I didn't care for that at all and then , once it starts to get dark , they're just like , alright , see you guys in the morning , and then they just leave and then you're free to roam Moundsville Penitentiary .
And I made it to like 3 in the morning and then I was just like banging on the door because I knew there was somebody out there . I was like I'm done , I'm out , like I'm done . Yes , yes , I am that big of a wuss , I'm out , get me out of here . So , yeah , didn't take long , but I was .

What's an overrated Halloween movie in your opinion ? Overrated Halloween movie I'm probably going to have to go with Nightmare on Elm Street . Nightmare on Elm Street is overrated . I mean it starts out , the first two are real good . Then it gets too goofy for my liking . It goes down the path . It gets too silly , too goofy .
The first two are pretty good , but then after that it kind of goes downhill for me .

um , I probably would have to say now I will say this don't , don't , nobody you know , attack me on this one , because when it , when it came out , it was scary , but as as time went on , you're like oh man , I would have to say the Blair witch project . Just because it's uh , it's a chase of really nothing and it's just great . You know what I mean .
It just it , but I just think it's overrated a little bit now .

I was struggling to think of one and then that just gave me the perfect segue into what I needed to be thinking of . He said Blair Witch Project , which is a home recording , you know video . That takes me to paranormal activity . Yeah , you know , like I remember , when the previews came out , there was all the hype for it .
You know , there wasn't a whole lot , you know , filmed like that in terms of movies and all and everything . Um , sucked . It sucked wasn't scary , it sucked , uh . So I don't know if it's technically a ha Halloween movie , but it falls under the horror or falls under Halloween . So there , you go .
All right , I actually completely forgot about that as a movie . Paranormal activity . Yeah , tony , what about you ?
I'm going with Beetlejuice because it's the first movie that popped up in my head . Like I said , I'm not a scary movies guy .

He did all , I mean it just got they were . It was just a money , money grab at that time . You know they kind of they ruined the .
The 3d one was kind of like their jump the shark moment . That was the third one . I mean , it had some cool stuff in it , but you know , that's when you really got to see Jason , though , other than the second one where he had the bag on his head but , um , the shock of it all , the shock and awe and the thrill , yeah , it was just what's ?
Who's going to kill this guy ? How's he going to go ? This guy it was too . You know , it was the jump the shark thing after that . So , yeah , any of the Friday the 13th after the second one .
All right , I right , I hear you on that one . It was tough to me . It's kind of a toss-up between Blair Witch and Paranormal Activity . For me I'll probably have to say Paranormal Activity , just because I completely forgot about the movie in general until DeMarco said that one there . So that would probably be my answer .
But , rusty , we're going to round out the show here with this one . I need you to rate these three movies from best to worst for scary movies , and that's the Shining , the Blob and it .

the blob and it and it oh , it was the second one in blob only because it was made so long ago that you know , if you look at it now and I this is no joke I took the kids . Uh , a buddy of mine here locally has does the .
They're the midnight movie on cable here in Lake County and they host this free movie night and they had the blob on their last year , the year before , and I took the kids and it's it's funny now , but back then it was , that was . You know that was scary , but um , and that order .
So , but in that order .
So the Shining . What the hell was the second one ? The Shining , yeah , the Original it and the Blob , all right .
Lando , what about you ? I haven't seen any of these three movies the Shining , the Blob or the it but I'm going to go . I promise you I'll watch them eventually , okay .

You see the two girls at the end of the hallway . You see them chasing with the axe . The here's Johnny . Everything about that hotel and the emptiness of it .
It's a very creepy concept . Him going insane . There's so many things going on in that movie that are scary . So that's number one , and I'm a I am a huge it fan . The old one , the original , is great . I thought they did a pretty good job with the new ones as well . The remakes , um . So that goes too for me okay , brandon , what about you ?
um , I gotta say probably it . It's because I was like a general , like it made me hate clowns for the rest of my life , yeah . So I mean I gotta give

that's a pretty , I mean that's a pretty powerful movie , if if it can do that to people . So , um , uh , I'm gonna go it . Uh , the shining classic , and then the uh , the blog all right , jj .

Halloween . Tell them yeah , oh man , I'm going to let you finish , oh man , I'm going to let you finish , but Halloween is the greatest movie , halloween movie of all time . All right , I'm going to go with it . The Shining and then the Blob .
Okay , yeah , that's my order too it Shining and the Blob . I've never seen the Blob . Brandon , just kind of like you , I'm terrified of clowns . Now to this day , as a 35-year-old , grown-ass man , I'm still afraid of clowns and the Shining those two little girls kind of mess me up too as well in the hotel .
So , yeah , that's a very close one and two for me . That could be flip-flopped , but yeah , just because my sheer fear of clowns , I gotta put it up there .
