Welcome to the Crown and Anchor Greyhounds. This is Richmond Till We Die, a conversation about the Apple TV Plus show ted Lasso, where we explore the characters, their relationships to each other, and how they're able to make us laugh until we can hardly breathe one moment and then feel with the deepest parts of our hearts the next. I'm Marissa, and I'm feeling all right. I'm Christian. I'm a flat brimmed hat connoisseur who unfortunately is always on a
quest for the next great hat that will fit my unusually large velgin. I'm Brett, and I am so excited to introduce our guest. Our guest today is actor, comedian, presenter and YouTuber KG. The comedian. Y'all know KG for his work as Paul on ted Lasso, the gentle giant among the pub trio, but KG is here, there, and everywhere when it comes to creative projects. He's got his own YouTube channel where he hosts multiple projects.
He's the co host of the boxing focused Undefeated podcast with fellow comedian and collaborator Travis j and he frequently appears on the Massive Manchester United YouTube channel. The United Stand. In addition to staying very busy online, KG works as a comedian and actor and has appeared on shows like the paramedic comedy Bloods on Sky One, the sketch comedy show Family Am on BBC, and the Black
Stories edition of Drunk History on Comedy Central. He's also a huge sports fan and an integral part of our favorite show, and we are so excited that he's here to chat with us today. So Greyhounds please join us as we give a warm welcome to KG. Thanks for being on the show. KG, It's so nice to meet you. Yeah, I'm really happy to be here. I'm tooking to official people Kansas. That feels good. I feel yeah, that's right, I feel like, well, we're thrilled that you're
here with us. Thank you so much. KG. Could you share a little bit about how you came to be involved with Ted Lasso? Maddest. You know, it's the maddest story because I wasn't supposed to the character that I am. I wasn't supposed to be that character, so I actually read for um. I was supposed to pick him up and take him to my family's restaurant. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, but then obviously he said that yeah it was supposed in it said like you know,
um Indian and stuff. I was thinking, wow, this is gonna be tough taking them to my family's Indian restaurant. Being Nigerian. I think, yeah, I just kind of riffed it. I played around with it and I just, um, yeah, I took him back to my Ninegerian family restaurant, um, and yeah, just go to They let me kind of freestyle a bit because it was a funny situation. It's like this doesn't
make sense for let's go. And then randomly, um, I ended up as a pub boy, like I don't know literally, like it went from that audition as this guy, and I think everyone else kind of knew their roles there was quite secure, and mine I was kind of last minute. So it's like I got the role and then two weeks later I think I was a part of the cast filming. So mad story, really grateful because I've stayed in it the whole time, which has been fun. So yeah,
oh my goodness. Yeah. I was looking at just the number of episodes on IMDb, and I knew it was a lot, but I was like, yeah, like the Trio have been featured in a lot of episodes. There's a handful where you guys don't show up, but like you really do make one or two appearances and most episodes, which is fantastic, And it's almost always y'all with May, which is just a yeah, she's all good, mom, She's she's the main one kind of keeps us in line.
So it's quite funny to just it's really funny to just think I wasn't supposed to be in this many episodes, Like I didn't expect to be a part of something it's huge, right, And then it's like I had these moments and I'm like, wow, you're really in this show, you know, and he and then they keeping all different things to your character to do and you're like really, so yeah, it's been it's been a it's been amazing. And then you ended up being a huge part of the Beard Bottle
episode in season two. What was your reaction the first time you read that script. I couldn't believe it, Like, so we obviously we have the group. It's it's it's us, yeah, and with me in the group, right, we have a little what's that group? And I think it mean I was like, have you seen this yet? Someone it was like a big the group. I was like, well, and I'm thinking, you know, and there's no way, there's no way they're gonna like do
it. There was a whole episode right you start reading, You're like, no way, we're getting out the pub. We are escaping yeh, because it's a bit funny. We find it so hilarious, Like we're super fans, but we love the pub. That's where we watch all our games. So we're like, oh my goodness, we're we're getting out. And then you start reading more and literally like if you could just see the emojis that we use, like fire emojis, and like, yeah, there was loads
of that. And then, um, I think the greatest the greatest day was recording that. I think that's the greatest day I've ever had on that show. And I was just so thankful. I hugged everyone. I cried in my I cried in my trailer on the final night of it because it was just I couldn't believe that they given us that much, trust us that much. Um, you know, they really believed in us, and they it's been that way from the beginning. But to a whole effort. You
have to understand. It's like and they let us do stuff. It was like, what do you guys think coming back? Jason be like, yeah, I like this. Brett will be like because he was involved in that one as well, He's like, yeah, we could do this, but maybe he should. It was Yeah, I never felt like I felt like an actor that day. It was one of those days because they had the
huge have the drones were playing football were totally unfit. It doesn't surprise me that Annette was the first one to do the homemark assignment and get that reading knocked down. She said, however, that one of your superpowers on the set, especially with that pub crew, is that you're the one that's the biggest football fan. You're a huge man Chester United fan, and that you kind of tutor and teach them some of the stuff that they might not know
about football. Do you, uh, Do you remember any particularly funny stories or funny things that you had to coach the rest of the pub crew in when it comes to football. Yeah. So I just like, oh, he won't even mind me saying this is not like a football fan. So he's one of the greatest actors ever. So he's the leader of the group, always giving it to always giving it to Ted. You know what I
mean, he's coming over, He's from on it. Right. So, because Adam's not into football at all, like for season one, we had to do a lot of explaining. But I have to just whatever I have to do is I had to link it to RuPaul's drag race. I go, so right now, just where we are, right, I'm like, they're dancing for their lives. Yeah, and this person you you really like this person on the show. You don't want them to leave? Yeah, this is the share. I want you to go there, like, this
is what this means? Right, if we win this, they're in the Main Life Final. I've got it, Like this is this is where this is where Bob the Drag Queen becomes Bob the Drag Queen. Yeah, this is it. This is the breakout moment, right that would be like penalty kicks are like equal to death drops absolutely and then um mid scene because it
gets so funny, like see like what we finished the take. You know there's that bit where a repuls drag race where they start talking to each other and they're at there they're taking I think they're putting their makeup on, but it's a really quick brush. Yeah, and we'll talk about each other's performance. Who're like, I didn't really believe you. I don't have to think you went. I didn't really believe you. Oh yeah, now you know. It's a lot of fun. Yeah, and that's really good going for
the team. But for me, this is the type of football fan I am. So sometimes I feel like a fraud because I'm not. I'm really quiet. I always believe that my team might win, so when I'm trying to go for it, I'm like, how I support Richmond is very similar to how I support Man United. So it's like, um, I'm being myself really yeah, it's it's it's I'm very lucky to pay a guy that
is glass half full at most times. Yeah. I'm interested to know because you're you're kind of the most positive and friendly of the of the crew. Is that something that was kind of written in or did you feel like you could kind of make that your own and that that was your own personality bringing to that that role, you know, I was I think I was really lucky. It was one of those ones where because I would say, um, there's a lot of similarities. I would say he's very kind, He's
like next of all kind. I'm more like I'm like here, I'm more chill with it, Like I believe he has these little moments when he's like they always made me go into my higher registered life. Yeah, and I like that team, yes, Like so I don't really find that register amongst my friends when I'm out with the lads, like drinking beer and stuff. I always believe, like so in our worst Manny United, my football team
are like they're in a bad way. Yeah, they haven't been good for a long time, and I believe every season that we're going to be successful. Now, we haven't won the league for about seven, seven or eight years, but each year I still believe we can do it. So that just gives you a sign of how some people call it a delusional I just call it like really hopeful. How did you become a Manchester United fan? You grew up was a South London Is that right? Yeah? Yeah,
so I really interesting, really interested. I'll give you this water story. I really love Cantona Ryan Giggs. The other story is I was like in Foster care early in my life and I was grew up in Manchester in the beginning early years of my life with a lady called Missus Wiggins. She was the lady I looked after us. And then how did you get into boxing? Because you're a huge boxing fan. You do boxing podcast, boxing media, a podcast? Yeah, you know, you know what's really funny?
Guy, So um, it coincides with my football team being rubbish. I needed something else. It's gonna make it work. I needed something else, just make because it was just every weekend. You're just like, I'm sad my team plays, we haven't won, and it's it's crazy because we used to be good. I don't know if there's a if there's an NFL equivalent for you guys in the Cowboy Dallas Cowboys, Yep, there you go. It's literally united and like halfway fans. Basically we believe every season and we're
not going We're not gonna get there. Yeah, and it's painful to admit. We're spending lots of money, we're seeing really okay results and it feels like it's gonna it feels like it's gonna be our year as well. At the beginning, it feels good and then you quickly realize it's not a year, so know what happens. Um, what happens is I said, look, I'm gonna go on a hunt and I'm gonna find a sport that I'm
into. I did try NFL. I couldn't really find a team, so I haven't I haven't found myself situated yet with it with the NFL team. I looked at NBA, I was like, oh, the players they always move a lot, like they don't stay where they Yeah, And I was like, oh, that doesn't work for me. And then I was like boxing actually and luckily um, just because Anthony Joshua and Ningerian as well, you know English Nigerian, I could just relate to his story. So it
was really Ajum like has a casual boxing van before. But I think a j piqued my interest because we share similar like a similar life story right in terms of upbringing. And then after that was it France I learned about him. I just went backwards and I had to go into the history books and found like if Van Dah like um Lennox, you know, like real like real fighters you know. So just went on a journey and what's cool is I wish I was there when I wish I was watching when it was live.
But it's still quite fun to go back and learn about these great fighters. Sugary Leonard like, now you know which is really good? Speaking of funny in history, you did a bit of drunk history speaking about a boxer, Yeah, Len Johnson, Len Johnson, well that's what I was gonna say. Yeah, you clearly are a student of boxing because you can have
several drinks and still tell a convincing story about a famous UK boxer. My question was going to be, if you were able to do drunk history again, is there what other athlete would you choose to talk about or other famous I don't think I could ever do trunk history again because I thought it was a joke. Like I didn't think like it was clear right, It's like, no, you're gonna be drunk. Yeah, and it's like you get
there and it's not it's not movie magic, no movie magic. No, we were broken, right, we plea see it gets we got there and it's like, oh wow, this is so nice. Someone just they asked you what your drink is before you get there? Right, So I like a Roman culte, Right, okay, this is interesting. Get there and it feels like you're on one of those holidays where you know where, like an all inclusive holiday. We've got a wristband and they just as soon as
your drink is getting a bit low, they're back. Yeah. And then after like you realize you've been there for like two I was They're waiting for you to be talking about stuff. I'm just laughing for no reason. Then they're like, all right, let's do it. Wait what how this happened? I was broken. I've never been so I remember, like, um, and I don't like drink crazy like that. I lost time I drink like that was uni like with the Missus bropas side stands involved, like I
can't believe it came out so good. That's the part that I watched. I'm like, and it really did. I laughed so hard. I learned a lot. And one of the other things I learned in that episode was that you have a voice, like you can sing. You you sing a little bit and your stand up, but you kind of have this like sonic signature thing. Will you could you do it? Yeah? Okay, alright, alright, yeah, alright that's the one. Where did that come from?
Because I'm obsessed with it, you know, I don't know, like obviously we again American artists and just American like groups. Yeah, growing up is all I would listen to kid so, like you know, when you're like tiny and you're listening to Joe this scene, you don't really realize that these guys are fully talking about having sex like proper song, and you'd be like me and you were like, wait, wait, why is that kids thinking about that? But yeah, I grew up listening to that and it's
it's just like the gyration music in it. But every now and then you hit him all right, just for no reason. They'd have to let you know that girls all right, and I'll just thought um. Once we so once I started doing comedy, we did this characters. We did this group called Caramel, and they're basically two R and B artists, Aison and Dejan right, and they basically show up. They basically show up in situation.
For instance, we had one called no Chicken. So girl goes to the chicken shop and she tries to buy some chicken wings and there's none, you know, and then we turn up and we give them the R and B voice. Sometimes in life you can't get what you want we start and the greatest my claim to famous. I meant for it one year from Boys to Men and he had the song oh yeah yeah yeah yeah he had the songs. He's like, yeah yeah, y'all got that chicken joint song right because
it was improper? Yeah yeah, yeah, yes, that's fine. That's the full circle moment. Yeah, Like it was like I couldn't see look like, I know we're taking the piss, but I'm so happy at it. What you refer to in England as gyration music, I believe over here we call making babies music. That's yeah, yeah, yeah, a lot of babies can be born to that music. Look how close they say,
look at them? Now, look how close? As they're like, they're gonna play the job to see later in Marissa was like, it's it's on the background. I'm ready alright. You were looking more than alright on the blue carpet. I couldn't Can you tell us what that was like with co workers and friends? Okay, so you need to understand this. Yeah, I've never done any of this before in terms of like they're all these experiences. So I'm not a fan, but I just happened to get to do
this as well, if that makes sense. As a normal fan, I'm having proper fan moments, but I have to hold it in kind of like an act, like I've been here before, but I'm not, even though i want to get another job. Sorry, I'm a good actor, but let me see for this moment, I'm not the best active when cool things happening. So for reasons going to going to the Air Force. In my head, I was like, Okay, you've never really thrown business before. This is a new experience for you. So I was like, let me
get there early. I'm probably gonna go to like Giraffe. That's like one of those spots that you can go to and have a little breakfast. It's that and the other. Anyway, turns out you get to go to a lounge. Never done that before. I'm like, even even the airport journey was great because then after I'm in I'm in the lounge and I'm seeing people from House of Dragons and I love that show. Oh, I'm like in there and I'm like, I'm like, I'm really excited, right and he
and the guy comes over. He's like, I recognize you, and I'm I forget you're an actor as well. So I'm like, I'm leading with all the other stuff. I'm like, yeah, I did some football commentary, this to any of us. And then after he goes off, but he comes back and he's like, you're in ted Lasso. I'm not. Oh yeah, yeah, you should have left with that. I'm an actor. I'm actually getting I'm going I'm doing it right now anywhere on the plane,
I'm lying down. Never done that before. Who knew they give out real cutlery on the plane? Did you look away? Clink clink clink. I think there's different amountments over there as well. Now, it was a great moment. But then at the same time, just to give you guys like because life isn't always ups in it. So it was in the plane. And then my team were playing Liverpool. Now that's like Dallas Cowboys playing the Eagles Washington yeas, and that's like the Eagles beat in the Dallas Cowboys
fifty nothing, that's like that happened. What happened to my team? We lost seven neil to Liverpool. Oh, yes, that was the day. So I'm on the fly and I'm like, you're getting the Ted last So but your bit sad now but you know what, you've never been in a situation before My Cousins show, and everyone knows what you do. As soon as I landed in La landed in the hotel or of all of the team, and all the Greyhounds ran over seven up, how are you doing?
Seven to meet you? You know, there was like I don't want to talk about football, but you realize you're on a football show, literally, like I couldn't escape it. But then m as a as an experience, like it's so amazing to see how Americans have just connected with the show. And that was the part that was It's different to here because over here it's like a good secret, right a lot of people know about it, but when you get there, everyone knows, you know. So I was taken
aback by people like wow, can I have a picture of you? The premiere was insane, just the it just felt like you're part of something historic. I can't believe I get to be a part of something this amazing, like people chairing when they see certain characters on the big screen. The whole thing was a movie, you know. Um, I just felt embarrassed about me and Tim Cook with my Sampson phone and my Samson, um My, Samson wat So I felt like I felt like a dis great spot. I
saw that bet on your on your Instagram and I cracked me up. You're like, hey, I'm gonna take it. And it's the worst one because to Samson case on the back, it could be and it's the folding one. It's like like it's clearly the rival, clearly the enemy, you know. But yeah, I mean they could have just given everybody free phones. So in some ways it was their choice. This is it, this is
it. So Brett mentioned that you were hilarious on Twitter and Instagram. You've done stand up, you do podcasting, You've done sketch comedy, you've done like some individual bits and now with tell Last. I don't know if you would call it like a sitcom or a show or whatever, but you've been participating in all of these different genres of comedy. Do you have a favorite
comedy medium? A man as a because I'm a middle child, Yeah, I just lack attention, Like there's something about you know how some people say, oh, how gd that you know, people like I could never do stand up, Like I just would be mortified people looking at me. I'm completely different it's like I wouldn't empty, you know, like I see a light and I'm like, I want to stand there, you know what I
mean, And I know that's really it's really good. It's just like my personality is like I want to entertain, and there's there's something about stand up because I think stand up is my first love really and I don't want to do it as much, but there's something about being on stage and you know straight away how everyone feels. See tell a joke and they're ever gonna laugh
or they won't love. But when they love that first time, when you hear like the audiences with you, there's I don't think there's nothing that can nothing compares to it really because it's just you and Mike spotlight. There's I don't know, it's just like it's a suit. It's a super feeling. Now. Don't get me wrong though, because everyone's like if I have to choose, if they said you can't do any of these things ever again,
I wouldn't be able to choose one. I wouldn't be able to say, well, I'll stop doing that and never be never act again, or I'll stopped doing that and never talk about sports again. I'm kind of just lucky that I don't have to really pick, you know, like and I can I get to do I get to do all of it, which is like really fun. And I've always I always knew that I wanted to do this, even when I was going to get signed earlier, like an agent spoke to me, is that so, what's your thing? I said, wow,
I like a lot of things. And then she was like, no, I think something and I was like, oh, I said I could. I could? She said who do you find yourself similar to? And that goes well, could James Cording it? He does like some serious act. Yes, yeah, yeah, he's like he's quite broad in his like in just what he does, right, I said, yeah, I think that guy. And then she didn't sign me, by the way, that's yeah her law definitely. I bring it up now. Hopefully she's watching like
she should assigned him. I don't know if you've seen the bits over in England, but um, over here, James Cordon does this carpool karaoke bit and it would be amazing to see the pub crew do carpool karaoke, either on their own or with James Gordon. I would totally be there for that thousand percent. We need it. James say up, yeah, you just started a new dream in my heart. I would just be in the back all right, singing, singing Joe to say Marista every now and then there
for no reason, yes please, Oh I would literally die. We actually speaking of like getting cool points for being on the show. You know when you when you get to it, when you came to America. Um So, I'm a professor at a college and one of my students came over last night and we were watching an episode and I was like, hey, we're actually talking to him tomorrow. And she was like, oh my god, you guys are like so famous. I was like, no, we're not,
but this is really cool. Yes, so we're getting cool points. I'm scoring cool points with my college kids just talking. Listen. Listen to listen to your lecturer. She knows what she's talking about, and if you don't, she's gonna fail you. That's right, that's right. I don't know why I went. So that's the clip of all your stand up gigs. I'd have to imagine that one of the coolest may have been opening for Gina is Sure. Yeah, it was that experience, like to be able
to open just for an absolute comedy legend. Well, she's a legend, and she she's one of the reasons where I jumped into stand up. Really, you know, Gina as such a and I rate I respect her story she's had to do. She started here and she's done a lot here. But I think she's really gone to America to let them know who she is really because she she's such a big comedian to be under that light, and she's a bit of a troll blazer. So Genie, actually, I've got
so much respect for he about being under doing a show for her. Um. I remembers in Birmingham the drum. I was early in my comedy, really early, and she was hilarious that night. Right, I got a picture of hers. It's a good moment. I don't I don't know if she will remember as much as I remembered it because it meant the most to me. But I was good. I knew I was good that night because they invited me to go with them to um where they was again Holland to
do a show out there. Right yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah. But it's so such a random and now when I think back, I'm like, you're such an idiot. I was teaching Sunday school on the next day, so I said, no, I don't know. I don't know. When you go back and you think why you made them that decision, like I hate you know, and as a lecture or something, you know, when you just think, I'm really gonna leave the kids in the lurch right now, just for like, and it's like, no, you can't
do that. So then after you make a decision for their kids when he shouldn't have been, like forget those kids. And I know you can't say that right now, but you know, sometimes you think that could be somewhere else. So yeah, incredible, Jesus will remember when I die, I'm gonna be like listening, remember that one time. Yeah, I've done some bad things, but that was not one time. This could balance out your
appearance on Listen. I know, okay, but listen. Gina was someone who we mentioned on our show and we encouraged our listeners to go check out as Sam's storyline was playing out in two because of how she describes kind of that um like growing up in a Nigerian British family and her self identity and whatnot. What was how did you feel as you saw season two play out and Sam went from you know, a character who was Nigerian to like a
Nigerian character. You know what it's it's it's funny and I love having Sam, Like Sam's a good representative of like the experience really because there is that feeding Like even I say it to this point, like my dad still doesn't watch the show. He's still hating for me to be Like I think Nigerian parents, they they have these lofty expectations of their children and they're not it's
not really in the in the arts in a sense. Like so even my life, my one of my cousins, he was a really good football player, but his mom just wanting to go to UNI. But he was good, like really incredibly good, right, And it's that it's that thing of I think, and it is the thing with parents. I will break it down and say that it's the thing of they just want their children to be
okay and they feel that education will always cover that. So where it comes from, it's just you know what, if something happens to us, I know, with a degree, you're gonna be fine, right, And that's that's the I think that's the thinking behind it. So sometimes you're as the kid going through it, you're looking thinking raw, just being more invested in
this thing, but it's not really. They just want to invest in something they know and trust, you know, because a lot of like my parents came here or my dad got here in a scholarship to UM and a lot of a lot of them, scholarships in education is the way out, you know, or a way to really excel and develop a family. Right. So it's it's cool watching like a character, Sam's character. Every there's there's no way, as a as a someone being born here you can watch that
and not relate in some way to what you're seeing on screen. So I felt it's I felt authentic is the best way to describe that. Yeah, the writing for Sam and then the writing of the Nigeria Ghana relationship, both of those aspects were just so smart and so funny. Did you get a feel when you were on set as to um, who was who they were talking to to get that so right, or who they were listening to who
was doing the writing for those two aspects? You know, Well, I think there's I think it's the one thing that is good and the one thing
that is there is it's it's kind of open. The feedback is very open, you know, even like I got a lot of respect for Jason, I got a little respect for the whole team everyone that writes on the show, because they always have these moments and I'm not in all these scenes together, right, but it seems that I'm in the pub right a moment where they will do one and you go, Jason come over and he has to
low for yeah, so you guys can what do you think? You just you know, it's like a really low whisper, right, you're listening in like, ah, this is important, we need to hear this, and he's like, halong with it. You just say that's the last thing you'll say, flicking the hand, and then you go back and you do one, and then it's like and it's when you see someone walking towards you and then he goes like when that bums up, you're like, oh, we're
good. So there's always that thing where it's kind of they leave this space but just for it to be kind of open. But then I think as a family, it's definitely a family crew, if that makes sense. And that's the whole way around. When you even if you think about it, like there was everyone that flew into for the premiere. You had makeup, you had art department, you had all the department. You literally everyone was represented. And this is a show that it's been gaining for years. But
it's the same people behind the camera. So it's not like starting a new relationship. I'm on other shows where you're just always meeting new people. This is like you get back and you're with your family again. So that's why it's always like, well, it's fun. But it's like even when you say goodbye or say like at the end of the filming, you're like, oh wow, guys, see you later. You know, it's one of those kind of feelings. It's like you're saying by your family because you spend
so much time together. And I think that's been the cause of I mean, that plays a big part in what this thing is. Right, it's a nat it's a beautiful feeling on screen to watch, but it's just as beautiful being in the cast. Wherever you play, wherever you are in it.
It is that show. It's a family thing. Well, I would imagine we've gotten that vibe from a lot of the cast and crew, creative folks that we've talked to who work on the show, like that really is something that seems to shine through is that you guys really like making this thing together, which is awesome. So when you have some down time in between shots, what's the pub crew doing together? Tell you I'm the nerd of
the group. I ain't gonna lie to you. Like sometimes I turned out with my um with my colors and I got my coloring book, you know, my adult coloring book. Sometimes I'm doing that. Yeah, other times, you know, when there was a time was filming where we weren't allowed to be around each other, like it was COVID protocol and stuff. At that time, I really got into this thing called on the Nintendo where you build your like your island. What is it? Oh? Any more?
Crossing a crossing? I'm cutting down trees, cat getting fish, mashing up my neck, waiting for the scene to start. Um. And then after I realized I wasn't getting that much respect playing that game, so I moved. I moved. I wanted to meet a Pokemon because that's really where I wanted to be at, But I moved to Mario car I realized I went up in the rankings of just how the cast like other people felt about me? Um nt me just like we sing a lot. We're just silly.
We're like we like to rest around. I like to mess around with um a net like and we eat a lot, so we'll all try We're always trying different food. But Bronson thinks he's a chef. So Bronson will get a meal and he tried to guess the ingredients and stuff. Bronson's ridiculous. You can cook. But it's like he always yeah, he's always talking about
he's always talking about cooking, or he's gonna buy something online. But something random like you'll turn up people like I need a new couch, like Bronson, like he would like look like I was thinking of a carpet because like who wakes up today and says, yeah, you know, I fancy a new carpet. No one does so random things like that really really random. Um but just a lot of silly time together basically more who's the best? Who? More champion of the pubcas Oh, I feel like it's not you,
but you want to say it's you. I want to say to me, how did you know? Because it's it's me that create this is the problem. I create the games and then I don't win them, like so like like a lot of games when we didn't, I'm like, guys, let's play, Oh, what's the other game that I like to play? When we go through like we say, movies A to B look robbish, and I'm trying to start with a A movie. Hold on, let's play hold on Apocalypse. Go on someone else's B movie Apocalypse? Now anyone B?
Yeah? Go on? Oh, then you do like A B C, Cats, Cinderella, and you start to realize people's look at the shows Cinderellary, Cats, You guys should be like removed to trust these Yeah, and then we'll do that. I haven't won, as you can see when I struggled with the A movie. Lets you understand level of my games, my brains, because what you have on a high level is fashion. I'm a particularly big fan of the flat brimmed Greyhounds hats that you wear on the
show. Did they have those for you when you showed up or did you show up and have to just kindly suggest that you weren't gonna wear an old man dad hat and they should find something that had a little bit more credibility to it, you know what, They back up to the costume department because they know what they're doing, right, Like I never yeah, they gave me that hat. Yeah, And it's crazy because I always tried to take one of those hats home, right, always, like like every season,
I'm like, I'm taking it right. Um, It's just perfect because everyone else Literally, I think they're trying to differentiate our characters. And if you see, my character is just always in a hat, He's always got his hat on. He's that's him, right. So it's like, I think you just can tell when you put us all together, because I couldn't imagine when they're costing us together like that pub crew. It looks weird, but it feels that that's how it should be. Does that mean does that make
sense? It's absolutely together. The chemistry is absolutely that. Yeah, you know that's the That's the best way I can describe it, just like all of us are meant to be together. Man, KG, it was such a pleasure to meet you, to have you on the show and to talk about ted Lasso and all the other projects you've got going on. Thanks for
