This is the first episode where I cover 3D scanning and its application not only in architecture and construction, but other industries as well. I cover the two main types of scanning, Lidar and Photogrammetry, along with the benefits of both. I also talk about two scanners that I have personal experience with, Matterport and Leica BLK360, and finish with how I use the scan data.
