Be so our first vehicle is The Slate, truck which we debuted back In. April we revealed it for the first time after working on it for about three years in. Stealth Slate truck is more than just a pickup. Truck it can also convert into a five seed suv and we think people are going to love. It we've already taken over one hundred thousand reservations from the truck since we.

Revealed and what's different about this car than every other car that's coming out these?

Days so like every every car that's coming out these days is too. Expensive the average price of a new car is like fifty thousand. Dollars for used, car it's about over thirty thousand. Dollars right, now people are underwater and car payments and they're not able to make vehicles the way they want.

Screen so instead we're decoupled from the consumer electronics life cycle and you bring your own. Technology so the blank slate comes to the phone, holder and then you can have accessories like a tablet if you want, to or bring in everything that you.

Yeah so we looked at what people were actually doing in their, vehicles and so much of what you use for, technology media streaming is already on your, phone so you bring that. So when are you going to get these cars on?

Roads, yeah so we'll be building vehicles In indiana starting in twenty twenty. Six our reservations opened back In, april and we can produce up to one hundred and fifty thousand of our factory that we re industrializing In.

Indiana do you think you can actually do? This can you get these cars? Made because there's been so many issues with you, know affordable evs in the past ten. Years everyone says they want to do, it but we haven't seen.

It so we're building the affordable vehicle that's been promised but never. Delivered and we did that by not saying how can we do this at the lowest, price but by eliminating costly parts of the automotive process that people aren't asking. For, so for, example there's no. Paint it's molded in to the composite panels in the. Vehicle but from that point you can wrap. It that's a savings in the range of hundreds of millions of. Dollars then we can pass right back on to people and hit that price.

Point tell me about the electric aspect of, this it's how many miles do you get and how do you charge?

It, yeah so in the fact that it's an ev is almost the least exciting thing about it because of everything else that a slate can. Do we have a fifty two point seven kill what our battery good for about one hundred and fifty miles of. Range if you want more, range we have an available eighty four kill what our. Battery it's good for about two hundred and forty. Miles you can charge it at A tesla supercharger at about one hundred and twenty.

Kilowatts and it's been, reported you, Know Jeff bezos is a big investor in this.

Company is this something that's going to be sold On? Amazon? Know what's the deal with The amazon, Connection.

So No amazon, connection but you will be able to buy it. Online in, fact that's the only way you're going to be able to buy. It then go to slate Dot. Is wild because When sora, too which is owned by Open, ai makers of Chat, ebt when that came, out the wild thing to me is that you are basically giving your own image to make a deep fake of. Yourself like it's, like, hey can we scan your face and also say a couple words on camera and now we've captured your likeness and now you can make fun videos of yourself doing whatever you know within. Reason what did you think when you saw?
