In today's episode, we'd like to welcome Josh Bartrug! Josh is a singer, songwriter, guitar player, bass player, drummer, keyboard player, marimba player and bandleader for Stolen Cable, a local garage rock group. Josh has been teaching English abroad to Japanese high schoolers but has returned to the states for the holidays and to reunite with his band to play one last show for 2023. We asked Josh about some of the cultural differences he's encountered in Japan as well as how he got started in music, his songwriting process and writing in different musical styles.
