We talk about the Revolutionary history of Salem--did you know that 150 Salem privateers captured more than 500 British merchant ships, many in the English Channel--and Concord, where on April 19, 1775 the Revolutionary War began.  Emily Murphy is the curator at Salem Maritime National HIstorical Parks, and Jim Hollister is a ranger and interpreter, as well as the living history, education, digital media program, and historic weapons co-ordinator at Minuteman National Historical Park.  Between them, they live the Revolution and share their stories with us. Leslie's Retreat in February 1775 in Salem, when the War did not begin, and other great stories shared here.
