Episode description

Ep.13 - January is National Slavery and Human Trafficking Prevention Month so what better guest than Nykole Jackson. Nykole is a ER Nurse/Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE), modern day abolitionist, and the co-host for the Walk For Freedom in Peoria IL, a global movement sponsored by Christine Caine's A21—promoting advocacy and awareness, with the goal of abolishing human trafficking.  Nykole served as a key consultant on the Peoria Area EMS’s human trafficking protocol, one of the first EMS Systems to adopt such a protocol in the nation. She believes that if we can help everyone to have eyes to see and the boldness to act, that we can end trafficking in our lifetime. Grab a cup of coffee and get ready to be inspired by Nykole's knowledge and passion...and perhaps even join her on this important mission.
