In every generation there have been revivals, massive moves of the spirit that changed the course of history. In every revival, there were believers like you who chose to answer the call to become the one in their generation. Discover your call to be the one in your generation. Welcome to Revival Radio TV. So glad you're with me today and my guests Annette Capps. Annette, thank you for being with us. We are in the final days before this election. Yes.
I want to talk to you about because your ministry recently, you talked about some things, and you and I just want you to share what you did and expand upon what you see coming. Well, there have been a lot of things coming because as you will know, we are in a very, peculiar, particular era of time for sure, is has a sense of urgency to it in the spirit and, back right before September the 9th, a few days before that, I had a dream one night.
And in this dream, the Spirit of God, I thought it was a normal dream. You ever had those? You think it's normal? And so the spirit God said, I want you to share it, because I've had things over the past five years. God's told me. And it's like, don't say anything, just keep it. But this time he said, share it. So on September the 9th, I got up and I said, you know, I may be marked with the crazy people. I may be marked from here on out. Oh, you know, did you hear what Annette Capps is doing?
But it was so strong in my spirit. What God said is to let people know, to get prepared. Don't get scared. Don't get scared. God always let his people know when something's coming so they can get ready. So I gave some people, people some, an idea of how to prepare for that. And I said, the thing that's most on my mind is water. You know, get some extra water, figure out how you can have water if something happens. I don't know what it is. Don't ask me. Sure. I'm just saying this.
And then I talked about food can fill. I talk about filling your car up with gas. Keep cash on hand. The response was amazing. I had so many people. That's almost everyone said the Spirit of God has been telling me the same thing. I've already heard this in my spirit. This confirms it. So I thought, well, praise the Lord. And then it sort of started going viral. People really started passing long and everyone was saying the same thing. This is what I'm hearing in the spirit.
Something is coming because I sort of subtitled it. You know, be prepared. Don't be scared. Something is on the horizon. So anyway, we put that out there, and I know that this is not the complete fulfillment of it. We just had a horrible hurricane. Allen sure did. Who knew the people in Tennessee couldn't get water or electricity or get help from a hurricane? Does that make any sense to you at all? In fact, we don't I don't know when we had hurricane damage that far inland because of a storm.
Usually once it hits the shores starts to diminish. And this seemed didn't diminish at all and brought in so much water and devastation. What is it you think when God speaks like that? What are we supposed to do? So I want the people at home to understand something that you you breezed right by. But it's very important is not get scared, right? Because that's your natural, your flesh and is your tendency is to automatically go, oh no, what's going to happen?
Right. And so if God really is telling us something, what is our responsibility other than go, go buy water or and keep your gas tank full? What's our responsibility with a word like that? Well, I can I ask that same question myself, Gene, because the Lord gave me a word about the attempted assassination on Trump in 2018. Two. And I'm like, what am I supposed to do with this? Because he said his life will be spared, right?
So what I've gotten from that, and what I get from this is some things can be changed. Some can't. Because if Jesus prophesied something, do you think our prayers are going to change it? No. I mean, we can't prophesy and say, oh well, I believe that the rapture is not going to take place for 20 years because I need to do this. We that's not within our, jurisdiction of authority. And I think, from what the Spirit of God is saying to me, there are some things we can change.
But of all the times in our history, in our generation right now is the time that you better listen to this inward witness of the spirit. But if there's something that you're not doing that God's told you to do, if you're not in obedience to the spirit, you better get in obedience real quick. Because what I'm sensing in my spirit is that there? And I can't say exactly what it is because I don't know.
But I sense there's there's things coming upon the earth and coming in our time, which if we pray in the spirit, we might be able to do a little bit about it. But there's some things coming that we can't change. All of the things that we have learned, it's brought us right to this period of time, which is right at the very end of this age, because there's a major shift that's taking place.
And was God's been speaking to me and through me is we can't look back for the same thing to happen, whether we're going back to the 50s and the healing revivals or, or the outpouring at the turn of the century. Now we can't go back to the 70s charismatic Renewal. We can't go back to that. We have moved to a different time and place. And this move of the spirit that we're talking about, some call it revival. Sure, you more than once have said an awakening, and I truly believe that's what it is.
I believe it's an awakening to righteousness. And my personal belief is and we'll find out whether I'm right or wrong, my personal belief is this awakening to righteousness. And what the spirit is doing now is going to be more akin to what happened in the United States in the 1700s, in the late 1600s, the awakening to righteousness, the the. This is not a social culture gospel, but we're in a time and place that our loyalty, where our loyalties lie. We can't just be a nominal Christian anymore.
True, we have got to be committed, dedicated. And I asked this question recently. Very recently, I said, if our Founding fathers in the Declaration of Independence could come to the end and said for this declaration that we've just made, we pledge our lives, we've pledge our fortunes and our sacred honor. Yeah. Do Christians today have that kind of commitment to the Lord?
Now wait, wait, we can talk about them having that commitment to this country of the United States of America to see it for free, which I believe in. You know, I do. Yeah, sure. And we hear that and it says something to us. Can we say that about our own walk with the Lord? Are we committed to pledge everything we have to standing for God in this, our. Ha! How do people stand? Because we like to always bring it back down to the person. Be the one. Revival. You can be the one that stands.
You can be the one you can actually stand for your family. Okay? Right. How do we do that? Well, the Word of God tells us that we have authority on earth in the name of Jesus. And I'm preaching to the choir, you know, but you have jurisdiction in certain places, you know, like the the police in Texas don't have jurisdiction in Oklahoma. That's right. There's a certain level of jurisdiction.
And if the house you live in, you have a lease on it or it belongs to you, you have jurisdiction in that house to say what happens in that house. If you have a family up to a certain time with your children, you have total jurisdiction. Devil, take your hands off of my kids. Take your hands off my son. Take your hands off my daughter! If you see the enemy coming in, you have jurisdiction in your house. And we've been being taught that for years by people like Kenneth Copeland.
Charles Capps, Kenneth Hagin, and on and on and on and on. We've been taught that and so we've exercised it. But now the time has come for the body of Christ to expand that jurisdiction not only pertains to our House and its legal limits, but if we were citizens of a county or a city, then we have jurisdiction spiritually.
Explain that what that means spiritually that means to say, like, I live in Wagner County, Oklahoma, and I have declared in the name of Jesus that I have jurisdiction in Wagner County, Oklahoma. And the Jesus said, pray that we be delivered from evil. So Lord, deliver us from evil, deliver us from corruption in Wagner County, Oklahoma. And I take authority over the corruption. I pray the light of God shines on it and it's driven out.
Now you say, well, who do you think you are to take jurisdiction in a whole county? I'm a child of the living God. I have a covenant with God, and through his blood, and because of his blood, I stand in that place of intercession. So when we're talking about taking that stand for righteousness is not it is voting, you know. You sure I'm not? I'm preaching to the choir again. You know as well as I do. Right? You take your stand by voting, but you take your stand and intercession in prayer.
Do you really want your city or your county to be swallowed up with the wickedness that's taking place right now? Do you or don't you? And you say, well, I'm not a very big person, right? Gideon said the same thing. Gideon said the same thing. My tribes, the smallest. And yet God had spoken the word and God's speaking the word to all of you out there that are listening to this.
Absolutely. God speaking that word. Do you know you have jurisdiction in the name of Jesus, and it's time for us to reach outward. We've been doing that in our chapel services. We pray for the city of Broken Arrow, and we pray for the county of Tulsa. Wagner. We expand it out to Oklahoma. We keep going and keep going and keep going because that's where you take your first stand in righteousness, right, Jean?
By making Jesus the master and Lord of your life and you become his servant and you swear your loyalty to him. Amen. People are concerned right now heading into this election. They're very concerned about what? If it goes this way? What if it goes that way? What if it goes the way I don't want it to go? And the truth is, none of us really know everything when it comes to the corruption or not. Or is that guy telling the truth? Is she telling the truth?
We don't know any of that, so it can almost be debilitating where you go, I don't I don't know what to believe. So I'm just going to believe anything, which is in fact the enemy's tactic to keep you, keep your lies paralyzed is a good word. Walk people through how we go from where we've been and to where we're getting outside of the four walls of our house and outside the four walls of our church, and even outside the the boundaries of our county. Walk us through that.
Well, you can go back if you really want to know the truth. You go back to Genesis. Good, right? God created man, Adam and Eve, Adam to have dominion in the earth, right? So it wasn't limited to our household or jurisdiction. Yeah. Was it? No. In the beginning, it was not limited to our household. The man and woman that God created were have dominion over the whole earth. Now that's a picture.
What happened is they sold out and gave up their right and authority at that point to Satan to have dominion. That's why he's called the God of this world. And that's what we're dealing with right now, is the God of this world behind the politics, behind the corruption. It is the God of this world. And what does he want? He wants to establish his kingdom on earth. But what does God's Word say?
God's God's Word says this that Jesus Christ will return not as a lamb, but as the lion of the tribe of Judah, with his head and his hair white as white wool alone. And this mouth goes a sharp sword, and he will obliterate his enemies and establish his kingdom upon the earth. So we're caught between those two things. And if you recognize that anyone in the army that feels paralyzed doesn't understand their authority, right.
Because what we're doing is not our own authority, but it is the authority given to us by the Lord Jesus Christ. And we have we start now. And this is what I've been talking about a lot. Like we we start now, ruling and reigning. We don't wait till the rapture takes place. But God has made this covenant with us, and it's strong and everlasting and eternal. How strong is our commitment and all? If we could say even what our founding fathers said, I pledge my life. I pledge all of my fortune.
And don't mean our wealth. It's whatever you got, whatever you've got. And my sacred honor to you, I believe, is going to take that level of commitment for us to come through what we're going through right now. I think you're right. And it started, I believe, really when we went through Covid was a great calling, if I can put it so bluntly, a way of of of those that are not there for the right reasons, not everybody, but, I mean, we, we saw churches, fall away.
We saw churches go online and stay online and then eventually fall away. We saw pastors. There seems to be in what we've seen, across America. There's the ones that speak a certain way about what you just said about our Constitution and our founding fathers, which isn't my opinion. It's what happened. What you just quoted is what they said. That's what they said. It's not up for discussion, even though there's a lot of people there think you're you're making up something.
And then there's those that have just said, well, we're just going to go over here or the quote that I get, we're just going to preach Jesus over here. My no, wait a minute. Because if you're going to preach Jesus, you got to talk about there's there's a lot of scripture about government in the Bible about how, how much to be set up, how government supposed to be run. What does it really mean?
So I think you're you're on that, you're really onto it and you're hitting it right on the head, the nail on the head here about what are we willing to conviction. When I read about the, the, the framers of the Constitution and our founding fathers, there was a commitment. Yes, but the conviction was that we must do this.
You know, this is one of the nation was when Robert Hunt came on the shores in 1607 and Cape Henry and drove a cross into the beachhead and said, we not only claim this nation for God, but we claim from here it will go to other nations to proclaim Christ. That was a covenant. Yeah. It was on the beachhead of Virginia that said, this is what this nation is going to be. And I don't know if they realized what they were saying when Robert Hunt did that, what did he realized what he was doing?
But he was he was entering into a covenant that we we must now walk out or we've we're breaking a covenant. Do you think a lot of what we're dealing with in America today is because we've broken a covenant? And by that, I'm not saying that God's penalizing you, but when we take ourselves out from under the authority and the protection because of our decisions, we open ourselves up to a lot of a lot of hurt, a lot of pain, and a lot of things that aren't good.
Do you agree with that, or do you see it differently? Yes, I agree, and I think it goes deeper than bragging. I think people don't even know what a covenant is. It's true. I agree with that. I read in that message I said I never thought I'd preach right. I read the vows from a when you marry, you get married.
And it says, and I know we took some of this out, you know, I pledge the mantra of whatever in sickness and in health, poverty and wealth, till death do us part in the sight of Almighty God. And before these witnesses I give my oath and my pledge. That's how you got married. And then I read one of the vows, and it was for as long as we live together, I do promise to work on giving you the best self that I can be, and help you work on yourself. Yeah, that was the oh, that's the oath or a vow.
That's. I could say that to my friend. Yeah. That is not a covenant. No it's not. So people don't they don't even know what a covenant is with anything. Whether it's marriage, whether it's serving in the military. You know, the thought never occurs. So they don't understand the power of the oath and their word, of their commitment to something. Destroy that sin. I read something from Billy Graham before he passed in. He said, we have.
Coddled people until people don't know that there are things that God hates. We have coddled churches, have coddled people and go, well that's okay. You know, we understand why he said sin is sin right. And God hates and God hates the shedding of innocent blood. God hates these things. There's seven things it says that God hates and we've coddled people.
And so when they come and they, they come to to Jesus, it's more like they're joining a cultural club instead of saying, I now enter into this covenant and I make Jesus my master and I pledge my loyalty to him. Billy Graham used to say, I call you to make a decision for Christ, right? And people make a decision based on how long I'm going to live with you or how long, how long I want to come up and do that.
So I get a nice Bible and and it's it's not a decision and a loyalty and an oath to the Lord Jesus Christ who gave his life to you. It's it's something else, and it's not what it's supposed to be. You grew up like I did. Your word was your bond. Yeah. And I remember, the first car loan I got my dad went with me to the bank, and he the the banker we had, he knew who my dad was. And, on a handshake, I got the loan.
And when we got home, it was impressed upon me the the value of that and what that really meant. And you will make those payments on time, and you will do this and you will do that because I gave my word. And there was no he wasn't a cosigner then. I'm not talking about Cosigning. He gave his word to the banker and that was enough. That's right. It was a simpler time now, obviously, and I know times are different, but that's I think you're right. I think we've lost what a covenant really means.
And, and and the conviction that goes with that to do the right thing. And we have a nation of covenant people. In my spirit, hear it, understand it. But I'm not completely getting it. But the choices people are making right now, right? It's causing them to be. And this is what the Spirit of God said to me, that I'm still going. Okay, what all does that mean you're being marked. You're being marked. The angels of God are going through every place. They're going through the state capitols.
They're going through every room, they're going through the chambers, they're going and they are examining and inspecting. And just as they are going and examining and inspecting, including Washington, DC, and what's going on there, they are examining and inspecting the troops of the army of God, right. The army of God. And they're examining and inspecting where these people stand, where. And I'm talking to the people right now. Where do you stand?
You've got to know where you stand and whether you eventually go out and do something noticeable. You've got to make that quality decision on the inside that stand against wickedness. And I stand for righteousness. And let's agree right now over this election. I know it's just days away now. So, father, we just come into agreement right now. This election, your will be done. Yes, we will do our part and go vote and make our vote heard. And, father, I thank you. The corruption must subside.
Yes, it must come under the name of Jesus. And we exert our authority, our dominion. And we thank you, father, for the justice of God. Oh, yes, and we call it so in Jesus name. Amen. Amen.
