The Happening (2008)

An exasperated Sean reviews M. Night Shyamalan's The Happening, judging it to be a wasted opportunity to make a dark, disturbing thriller/disaster film. He wishes that the film is remade someday, as the premise is a great one. Sean also goes off on a tangent about Terminator Salvation, among other films.Chronic under-acting and an environmental message that's as subtle as a kick in the backside hamper some early promise in this film, despite a great soundtrack and a stand-out performance from John Leguizamo. Thanks for listening!
