Hello and thank you for listening to Reversing Climate Change. I'm your host, Ross Kenyon. I'm grateful for you giving me a few short minutes of your time so I can fill you in on a few ways you could add a lot of value to the show. It's easy. It means a lot to me, and I please ask you to do this, if you at all can. This show is a lot of work to make, but it's a labor of love. I love doing it. Hopefully you can tell that I love doing it. I am here because I'm passionate about this.
I think it's a cool show to do. It's certainly not paying my mortgage. And I don't think it really could. Maybe I mean, some people do, but I'm really here because I love this topic. I think there's so much to say about climate change and carbon removal and the link to humanities and ideas that don't really get brought into this space nearly as much. So if you could please help me amplify what I'm doing, it would mean a lot to me. So here's what you can do to
help. First, right now while you're listening, could you please go into whatever app you're listening to and give it a five star rating or whatever is the full rating. You can give it an Apple podcast and Spotify. It's about 5 stars. And then if you're listening to Apple Podcast, you can also
write a review. So if you gave a five star rating and wrote me an amazing review about why you like this show, why you think others should listen to it, it's very helpful for getting in front of new people and it would help me grow the show. So please do that. Also, if you're using an app that is not one of those two, a lot of them have ratings or review services as well.
So if you wouldn't mind doing that right now, I would be so very grateful if you gave me a great review and a full rating. Secondly, this show has a subscribers program now for $5.00 a month. You will help the show justify its existence, which is good, and get access to bonus content, ad free eisodes and I'm going to continue exloring ways to enhance your listening experience.
If you have some ideas for how I can make this worth your while, please send me an e-mail, the link to my emails in the show notes. So if you're a long time fan, please become a subscriber. It it helps a lot. The amount of people who who stack this $5 on top of one another here, It really starts to add up and makes this a much more doable experience for me to justify in a busy life. So thank you so much. Please do that.
And then thirdly, if you're a podcaster or if you'd like to become a podcaster, I have referral links for the tools I use. I think they're really great tools. I can, you know, wholeheartedly recommend them. For recording, I use Riverside, which has been great for capturing video content. It quickly generates clips from what it perceives to be the best promotional excerpts of the show. So I've been using that more often.
It's just been very useful. It has a lot of other functions that I'm only barely starting to explore, but I like Riverside a lot. I've been enjoying it. And then for editing, I use D script, which has been a revelation. I used to have to edit using the waveform editing function in tools like iMovie or others. I still ended up having to use some of those tools to some
extent sometimes. What's cool about D script is that it makes a transcript of your audio and your video, and you can edit audio and video by changing the transcript. You do not have to edit anymore by being a technical person messing with waveforms. It's really easy. They have a bunch of other AI tools about generating automatic show notes which has been very nice as well. Has ways of upping the sound quality called Studio Sound. That's been a useful function for me too.
So if you are a podcaster looking to become a podcaster, if you'd like to try some new tools, the links to both of my referral codes are in the show notes. Please help me by using them because that money just feeds right back into the show and helps keep this thing going. And finally, maybe the easiest here, tell a friend about the show. If you love these episodes, share them on social media. I'm most active on LinkedIn. That's typically been the most useful for me.
Get your friends listening and just help me get the word out about the show. I think this is special content. I don't think there's anything else like it. And if you could help me find my people and I think, you know, if you're listening, one of them is you please help me find more of them because I think we're going to connect on ideas that are maybe under represented in climate change talk. And that's why I'm here. And presumably that's why you're here too. So let's do that together.
Thank you so much for your support. I really appreciate you spending time with me. And please let me know if you have any requests for for changes in either the offerings for the subscribers, if you have any requests for show types, things you want to hear about, guests you want to have back, etcetera. How I can do the show differently to just, I don't know, make your experience better.
I'm here both because it keeps me entertained and it's fun for me, but I also want to make sure it's delivering value to your life. So you have a lot of choices in podcasts. You're here spending time with me. Please tell me how can I make this a more enjoyable, educational, fun experience for you. Thank you for listening. Thank you for your support. Check out the show notes that have details on how to do all these things. Thank you so much for your time, your support.
I'm very grateful and have a wonderful day.
