It can be. There's a lot of diving and a lot of sand involved and the sand is getting in crazy places and The bathing suits too sometimes get in crazy places, yep. That's the problem. Okay. Um let's get into this guys. Got one less than five minutes in. Yeah. It's been Amazing. It's been somewhat of a depressing week in the news cycle and so I wanna sprinkle a little bit of uh toppings on top of today because uh we'll get through the sad subjects and then we're just gonna have some fun because you know what we have to unbox tonight, don't you? I t we talked about it on Thursday. It's it's the SJ GAM PS portal we have at home. I know. The M twenty eight. That's right.

Are you ready? That is the highlight of the night in my opinion. I don't care about anything else. Nothing else matters. We need to to see this. All right. Let's let's get this over with. Price hikes, and then there are price hikes, and then there are shortages, and then there are discontinuations. Uh and uh And there's Sam Albin F and everything. And Sam Altman is just Never ending.

Yeah. And then uh what's that guy, Tim Sweeney from Epic Games, just he's he's upsetting everybody, firing people and You gotta be kidding Stop using that mini PC. Yeah. Am I back? But yeah, you're back now. Don't buy a Minix mini PC. That's the other piece of sad news. Isn't the Minix mini PC I think it's minix. 155H model doesn't quite despite thirty two gigs of RAM and one terabyte of storage and uh however much. Doesn't quite have enough to get over the hump here.

Are you sure it's actually what it's advertised as? Did you go in and and check the chip? Well, that's a very fair point. We're gonna fix it for next week. Most likely. Okay. Well

Here it is. So this is kind of cool though. Uh RPCS three. Let's start out with something happy. Uh they're releasing updates all the time. They are really cooking over there. Andrew, you you brought this up today. What's what's up with this? Yeah, I just wanted to call it out because um I'm not gonna go through and list everything that's changed, everything that they've been posting about it, but it's almost daily that they're posting new updates.

Uh the latest was from today. I think Sony you have to be logged in to see the latest. Um uh it you can change a render resolution in RPCS three without restarting the game. huge because that's a huge annoyance when you're trying to tinker with stuff and you can't really tell sometimes between um Yeah, like when you're in a game, is it really different? Is it is there a noticeable difference when you're trying to tweak the the resolution and things like that to get things working correctly?

Do you know how much time that's gonna save for testing purposes? Oh. Yes, please. Yeah. Um I don't know what this is, but like on the twenty third they added handle RSX memory tiling. Uh I don't know what that is, but it says you can toggle it without restarting the game, which again is for those who know what it is and and need to use it is gonna say.

Um they did not like they posted about Intel GPUs because those are growing in popularity just because those are cheap compared to AMD and NVIDIA. Yeah, they're not too Panzer Lake, you know, Panther Lake. Um the the graphics cards are actually pretty solid. I mean, yeah. Yeah. Um They don't fully so RPCS three doesn't fully support Intel, but they do work. And they just were calling out pointing that out, which I think is just like a nice little PSA.

Uh and then a big one for some, um, president company included, is uh on the twenty second they posted new CPU emulation optimizations for armed devices. Oh That's interesting. Yeah. And the question is which ARM devices are they talking about? I don't know. I haven't like d delved into I haven't gotten into that. Yeah. Dove. Dove. So Doped. Doped. I just got like triggered. That hurts me. Um and then like they've also been doing a bunch of updates with NetPlay.

Oh I like to play with the You get notifications and for messages and invites in game. Oh, and then the other I forgot about this one. I don't know how I forgot. You can add Steam add RPCS three games directly to Steam. Mm-hmm. Which is amazing. I think did we we talked about that, right? talked about that. Yeah, I think we talked about that, which was it's a big deal.

It's just cool like if you just if you're logged into the Twitter and you just open up the RPCS three account and you just scroll, the last like two or three weeks is nothing but like good updates. And it's just Refreshing when everything else around us is poopy. So is my mason jar.

You know, I've said it before, but man, that RPCS three team just keeps on cooking. They are what they're doing is impressive. And I noticed that uh Productivity in chat also was mentioning how probably the most talented developers that he knows. So yeah, I agree. It's so cool. It's and the crazy thing is like Sony just released another update for the PS3 like a month ago. Which is hilarious. Yeah. That's for sure.

It's just like odd that they would do that. And but they they posted about that too, saying you can continue using your currently installed version or update. It doesn't matter. So like I don't know what the purpose of Sony updating the system or the console was. Stability updates like Nintendo. What do you mean stabil it's been fifteen years, Bram? Nintendo loves those stability updates. And you can launch PS three games directly into big picture mode. Oh that's cool.

Yeah. And it says full controller interaction with Steam and RPC RPCS three dash it just works. So yeah, it's just it's nice to see, especially not just like the memory shortage BS that we've been having to deal with, but like all of the drama in the emulation community in general the past year. Between s switch emulation and everything like that, it's refreshing to see. these awesome kick-ass updates so keep it up guys

Oh, and to add to the update, chat is always helpful as always, and they mention it's because of the Blu-ray licensing. That that's probably why the update happened. Okay. did not think about that. I didn't did not even cross my mind. Interesting. So it so it's basically uh something that would be done pretty much every year. Oh, okay.

Well, cool. I mean, kudos to them, but I'm glad that it didn't break anything for the RPC S three team. Although the way that they're cooking, it probably they probably would have patched it in like six hours anyways. If not less.

And Green Protagonist, thank you for your super chat. Thought experiment, your friends are coming over for a land party, but it's the Rampocalypse. You can only use your hardware, minimum four players. What devices are you using and what game are you playing? That is such a good question. We're gonna come back to this one. They're not actually raising the prices. It's the same price. They're clarifying the Digital will be ten dollars cheaper and physical will cost you ten dollars more, basically, which is essentially what it has been. I don't understand why I knew this had to happen. Yeah. Yeah, I don't understand either. It's just like Nintendo wanted to talk to hear themselves. Probably don't want to raise the price of the switch too, and so they're trying to raise prices other places was my first thought.

That was gonna be that was gonna be my comment was I'm happy to see that they're not do pulling a Sony. Yeah. Yet. I think it's still possible that it's gonna happen, but they're not they're not there yet. And I I I commend them for that. Yeah, the thing I the big thing I see with this is that if they can hold on to that four hundred fifty dollar price point, that puts them at a pretty big advantage over I mean, forget about Microsoft but Sony, you know.

Yeah, I mean then I th I found a deal on um on Woot last night and it was like the console I saw that, yeah. It was like four hundred or four three f I don't remember what it was, but it was on sale for like fifty or sixty off. And they were new from loot. It's like that If you're on the fence We're in chairs. One of them was one of the deals was like you it was the Mario Kart World bundle. Mm-hmm I saw that deal. Sixty bucks off or something like that. Awesome woot deal there.

Uh productivity. Is there only bad news the whole podcast? I refuse. There will be Will be good news. I we we kicked it off with We kicked it off with good news. We just went on a ramble about PS3 emulation.

Exactly true. And we we have some more good stuff coming. I can't wait to sh wait to share some cool community news from uh one of our beloved creators. And we got Mr. Joey enjoys for handhelds in chat, Xbox, Playstations, Nintendo stuff, handhelds all raising in prices. I'm gonna retire on this stuff more than stocks. Yeah. That is If you bought a PlayStation 5 at launch, right? Yeah. You've made money.

Right, exactly. You're already yeah, you're all you're already in the clear and you're just everything's appreciating. My my house is depreciating in the market, but my consoles were at an all time high, baby. That's what I'm talking about. Uh you're gonna be seeing Joey in this podcast. Now no other companies are announcing price right price hikes r no two This is definitely the big one right now. In more ways than one. Oh yeah guys, what are we doing? So they're gonna raise the price not only the PS5 Pro, which I can imagine with those L the chips and fanciness in there, but also the base PS5 and uh the PS Portal are getting price hikes as well. The portal The portal. The PS portal is the one that's most baffling to me. How much RAM does that thing have?

Done. Yeah. It has negative RAM. And what about Star? No. It's a cloud handheld. And what is it like? Two what is it like? It's cut it's It's not like the G Cloud where it there's actually a decent Correct. Yeah. This is a good thing. It's like a step above E waste, I think, or it might be on par with E waste. Maybe four sixteen is what it was what keeps popping up. I like my PS portal.

I don't use it a lot, but I appreciate that it sits there and that it's always ready to play my PS5 when my kids are using the PS5 in cloud games. Yeah. If I could have bought like gotten my hands on the thirtieth anniversary one without paying scalper prices, I would have one, but I don't have. If you really are considering a PlayStation portal, I want open box from Amazon. They're like a hundred fifty bucks. Even I mean, really

I mean, even I think even better than that is you're finding them at Best Buy open box for as cheap as about 110, 120 right now. That's cheap. Uh if you find them in like fair condition, which fair condition usually at Best Buy still means awesome condition for the most part. Yeah. If it's the white model of literally anything, the white model of anything, it's suspect. But uh anything else like the the midnight black model or they're not gonna have the thirtieth, but you know. It's option.

I'll do you one better. Download or buy PX Play. And use your handheld that you already have. Oh yeah. So like the one that Stubbs is gonna unbox tonight, right? Uh Speaking of the PS portal, yeah, I you know I should go get my my portal when we do that too. That that'll be fun. Yeah, it's true. Yeah, if you have a telescop if you have a well if you have a telescopic controller and you have your phone, all right.

Forget everything. You don't need to buy stuff. You don't need it. There's a lot of FOMO going around. I they had a great deal at GameStop where you would trade in your you know, your base PS five or whatever PS five. And they're gonna make the PS5 Pro three hundred fifty dollars for you, I think. Three hundred, three hundred fifty dollars. And you just go trade it in and that's like the min maxing right before the price hike happens. So the GameStop's putting out a campaign like, Hey.

You're gonna lose your chance. Now's your last chance, you know. Get your PS five pro for like three hundred and fifty bucks while you can. And it's like, mm, the PS six will be here. The PS5 Pro, I don't know that it's a super necessary upgrade. I had one for a brief period of time. I had one for a little while, and I said, this is not worth it. I can't see any differences. I have the right TV for it. I should be able to see the differences. I can't. I returned it.

The PS six is gonna cost like Yes. I've already seen that speculation that you know, Project Helix and PS six were gonna are gonna be well over a thousand. Yeah, if PS5 Pro is getting bumped to 900 bucks, there's no shot that the PS6 is not a grand. Yeah.

The other thing too, I I I forgot where I I watched this on on the YouTubes, but someone was mentioning that this also could be Sony testing higher price points. They wanna see what they can get away with. So thousand dollar PS six, it won't feel like as much of a Can we rake people over the coals for more? That's the thing. That's the thing. A f a seven, ten year old console. The crazy thing is the PlayStation 5 is still the best-selling console. It outsold the Switch, I believe.

Oh the switch too, so M my son was just tonight. We were just playing uh well he was doing that too, but uh he was playing uh little big planet. And we were pla or Sack Boy and we were playing that together before the podcast and yeah, he loves the PS five now. He's like, Dad, can I play PS five? I'm like, Don't you gonna play Switch? And he's like, No, Dad. I'm four years old. It's time to graduate to PS five. Give me the controller. And I said, Okay, fair enough.

Like he recognized that Lego Worlds was far inferior graphics wise on the Switch than when he switched over to the PS five version. Like he saw his eye I saw his eyes widen and I says, Yes, my son, that's correct. You've I knighted him a uh Yeah, I feel bad I feel bad for these kids though. I feel bad. They won't their eyes will never widen as much as the jump from the sixteen bit generation to the what to yeah. I mean Well maybe it's not PS five, but at least PS two, three, one.

Big iterative jumps. Two was I think the biggest jump. But PS two to PS three was also ridiculous. Yeah, PS2 graphics, I mean, if you really look back and examine them, it's like, ooh, okay, yeah, some of this is pretty bad. Yeah. We'll have to see. We'll have to see. Now PS five to PS six I feel like will be whelmed. Like it people are gonna go out and buy it and I'm sure it'll be sold out immediately, but

Like each generation there's less of a noticeable thing. You know, it's like you And I think people hold on to their consoles longer and longer. Yeah. You don't need to upgrade though. Not really. If you want to save your PS five base or whatever PS five you might have now, I also learned that if you've had it for a while, turn it on its side so it's horizontal, not vertical, because that there's a little bit of a that liquid uh uh th thermal paste, you know, starts to drip down the side.

And then it caused overheating and it's a good So Basically inevitable that you have to replace that. So they they they just yeah. So it's a design form. And just to be safe, uh it mine's still running well, it's not a jet engine yet, so I turned it on its side and I'm gonna let it that way if gravity happens, it's not gonna go anywhere. It's just gonna chill. Is that all? All of them. It's gonna pretty much happen to all of them. Yeah. I've got the slim.

Ah, the slim they might have the new design too. They they tried to put a The slim that's really just still thick as I know, but they did add a little shelf to stop. For the slim, so Ja. Yeah, they added a little like shelf to stop the the liquid from falling. So it just pulls instead? Yeah. It's still nine. Man, Sony, it's almost like you're a billion dollar company. So much better vertical though. So

The crazy thing is. My X my series X. Now I don't know what I'm gonna do. It's a beautiful looking box. Too bad there's no much, much reason to use. Yeah. I almost turned on my Xbox Series X because um NLB the show came out and it's not on PC. That's right. And NHL. NHL is not on PC as well. So that was for me. Yeah. Yeah. So once in a while when I have the inkling that I want to play an NHL game, I go run out and buy a console for a few weeks and then I'm

Now I heard, okay, I heard that at least from notebook check, they were mentioning seeing trends of prices starting to come down for memory cards and things like that because of Google announcing this algorithm that makes you know, AI video super efficient or AI stuff super efficient. And so now prices should start to come down, at least while that trend is going. And so, you know, these companies have got to get their price hikes in while they can because

The tables might be turning. Maybe we're looking at a better rest of the year. I s I saw that today, so We'll see. I saw Best Buy and Micro Center dropped, I don't remember the kit. It was a Kingstink DDR5 kit, but they dropped it by$500. Thank you. Which was still more expensive than before Sam Altman decided to bend everybody over.

Anyway, uh what's game of the month? Game of the month is a thing we all do. It's it's it's normal. There's nothing weird about it, it's natural. And this month was mind over matter. And there it is. We played Donkey Kong. We played Ico. And we played a little game. I don't know if you ever heard of it. It's called Fire Emblem Awakening. Fur emblem? Deep working. Fire. You're almost there. Awakening. Fire emblem. Released in twenty twelve on the three DS.

Yes. Uh and then I got it my wife got it for me a year or two later for Valentine's Day. How about that? Mm. That is very nice. And then you got then you get married, and then then the real wife comes out. You guys know you're all married. Oh, shit. She got you with the fire evolution. Everything's great. Everything's great.

Anyway, uh so we had Donkey Kong, or as the youths like to call him, Donkey Kang. But Donkey Kong uh was in nineteen ninety four. It's a Game Boy game, and I actually played this on the original Game Boy. Where where's that? Wait a minute. Ow, there it is. On my original Game Boy, I didn't have my props prepped. I just happened to have it laying on the floor.

And uh it's a puzzler. The whole theme this month was mind over matter. It was supposed to be puzzles or strategy. And so so Dankey Kang on the Game Boy was a puzzle game. The first couple games, it's a fake out. you think, Oh, it's just it's just regular Donkey Kong. It's like the arcade game. And then there's like a hundred more levels with puzzles, you got time switches and it's fun. I guess canonically

Uh Mario is he's he's fighting the old the old Donkey Kong from Donkey Kong Country. I think that's the Donkey Kong from this. And the little Donkey Kong in this is is maybe Donkey Kong Junior's dad. Right? Can anyone back me up on this? Donkey K. The whole family tree I saw in the Discord. Donkey Kong Junior's father was I thought it was Donkey Kong. You would think that Apparently Donkey Kong from Donkey Kong Country With the glasses is the ther the third.

Oh anyway, it's it's a puzzle game for the Game Boy. Go play it, whatever. Uh Iko that was a w it was a weird game. It takes the worst part of any video game, which is the escort mission. And it makes that the entire game and you'd think, Wow, zoo, that that probably sucks, but it didn't. 'Cause it's kind of charming and uh everyone kinda speaks like uh what was that language in the Sims? Sim Simlish? Yeah, yeah. And so there's this girl, she's talking in hieroglyphic.

The whole game I thought I had a Viking helmet on and in the end I got one of the horns knocked off and there was blood everywhere. I said, Oh shit, he's got horns for real. And you just drag her around, you eventually get a sword and a mace. You can beat the crap out of these shadows. It's all right. All right. I wait a minute, I give Donkey Kong an a eight and a half out of ten. I give Iko a seven out of ten.'Cause it's it's good.

Would you have given it more if your if your Viking horn didn't fall off and you have blood? Yeah. It was a little it was a little slow. It's a little slow. Uh and it's not like in the Sims at least you could put your family into the swimming pool, take the ladder away and and drown them. And then their ghosts would haunt you.

In Sims Two and then Sims Three you could make like a painting farm in the basement. Mm-hmm. Get'em real good at painting. Sell their paintings. Yes. Make them go sleep in their BMs and their burnt pizzas. And then you get sadder and sadder and the art level goes up because of their depression. They're depressed and so they make better art. It's genius. It it's a it's the gift that keeps on giving. Learned a lot of lessons from the Sims. That's just one of'em.

There is no difference between between that and real life. And in ICO, you don't have any of that. Oh, the color balance on my my uh my camera's all weird. That is the big thing here. Very clean.

For they do note that uh because of JIT compilation on the App Store, iOS and TV OS have JIT forcefully disabled by default. Um, the sailing jet has a big impact on performance. Emulation speed may be below one hundred percent. That is not surprising if for anybody who tries to emulate anything powerful on iOS. Uh besides that, it's a bunch of looks like a bunch of bug fixes. Impl implemented a disk shader cache for the Vulcan renderer.

Readded texture filtering for Vulcan renderer. Shader and Pipeline compilation tasks are now handled separately. Should improve performance. Greatly reduced CPU usage of Azahar while using Arctic base.

So I think that it is and I don't I don't honestly I don't I don't believe that Valve will release SteamOS for Android proper. Like I don't think it'll be direct the way that they have for um other X eighty six handhelds. I think it'll be somebody in the community it gets ported in, basically.

it becomes another custom firmware, but for like So steam is Okay, so if the Steam frame's gonna be H N three, if we wanna get prepared for this, you think the H N three then is gonna rise in popularity because it's gonna have that that specific chipset's gonna have extra compatibility. And so the Y seven hundred what is it? The Y seven hundred gen. Might might see an uptick in popularity in other H N three devices. No you don't think?

I'd I it maybe with the nerds in the community. Um but like the m I don't think it'll matter But then again, I'm probably wrong. It's a three-year-old chick. It could be four years old by the time that the the frame actually comes out. But they're gonna optimize for that chip. I mean freaking switch one on that X one NVIDIA chip, they freak they they All of the work they're doing with Fe all they're doing all the work they're doing with FEX anyways, it's not chip specific. It could go either way. Uh that d that doesn't mean you need to go by even though you already did stuff. I did. Um you don't need to. But if you want to I would recommend doing so now. There's uh there's there's handhelds with this chipset as well. It says eight gen three is awesome because it's only a little bit slower than the elite, but it uses much less power to do the same thing, apparently. H N three's top load T D P is eleven watts, while eight elite is sixteen watts, so eight elite gets hotter.

So the eight elite has the the capability of going to a higher T D P Higher. So that that but that's not the same thing though. Because you can You can get away with doing the same type of tasks with less power on the Adelite because it doesn't require as much power to do it. True. Well you have a higher Every single. Yeah. Yeah, exactly. Doesn't the eight elite share some type of architecture somewhere with the X Elite? Yes. Yes. Okay. Because X Elite is X Lady's it's ARM, but it's PC.

So I guess the conquer pocket fit I mean it's very the the G three gen three is is very close. It's not the exact chip, but it's very, very close. It's it's it's kind of like the same thing as what the G three X Gen two was to the eight gen. Okay. I guess if you have a Conquer Pocket fit that and the Pocket S two Pro, I think it is, that would be pretty close to the Steam frame.

The eight the eight gen three is no slouch though,'cause I mean I I remember messing around with it with the tablets, you know. It it it's very powerful, you know. What does the pocket DS have in it? Pocket DS also doesn't that also have the G I think that's a good thing. Oh okay. Yeah. Man, this gets confusing. Three I think there's three handhelds. With the G three Gen three.

So on the fake one they put that it was a product of Korea, but on the real one it says product of China.

Wow. But I mean if you look again, I mean they they're really close looking. Pretty good. It's kind of crazy. if you don't have them side by sideyou probably won't know This is great. This is nuts. So you have to have a Samsung magician software. Install their Samsung software, their software will be able to tell. And apparently it'll show a non existent.

Just like give some kudos to the Japanese,'cause they're always the ones that are seemingly finding all this. That they really go deep into this stuff. And I appreciate that. That's kind of crazy. It's unfortunate that they put Burnout Revenge like as one of the stock games though. Like this isn't one like if you wanted to convince people, you know, like, oh, this does PS two and they pick it up and play it, like putting God of War and Burnout Revenge straight out the gate You know, you could almost forgive the screen if it were under a hundred dollars for this whole package, you know. At least it stands out against the other G eighty five handhelds.

It's I mean well it's not'cause it's trying to copy the PlayStation portal, but it's it's It's different, you know, there's some there is a different element here. This might be for somebody. Are we sure it's the actual chip? No not a hundred percent, but It did play Burnout Revenge for a minute. The the the the screen is so bad though. I can for I can forgive some stuff on.

But over a hundred dollars. A hundred and what? Thirty what is it, Sony? Like a hundred and thirty dollars this thing costs? You know, with with your That's the same thing. With your coupons you can probably get it down to about a hundred and fifteen, maybe a hundred and twenty. When you're over a hundred dollars on an e waste device basically with a decent chip, you're gonna have to be able to pull something together.

Whether it be the the screen at least, the D-pad, try on the D-pad. I mean SJ Gam has had a couple that I that I've enjoyed, man. I mean uh the M nineteen I think it was not bad. Uh the M what was it? The seven the seventeen was the one I think that everyone loved to tinker with, yeah, because it was dirt cheap. Like, yeah, and he could do PSP.

Yep. Yep. It had the PSP screen. So it was it was an interesting handheld. And it was cheap enough that people in the community wanted to tinker around with it, which is part of the hobby. Yeah. The problem is when you're over a hundred dollars and this is what you're getting, it's like A lot of money into the haptics and the kick. I mean, it has the kickstand. It does have a kickstand. Five levels of kickstand.

Yeah. You can set five different I mean actually just look look at it with the uh look at it with the kickstand here. Like with the kickstand, that's actually pretty comfortable, man. You could leave this up in uh demo mode, you know, and have just games playing like your Lenovo monitor thing, video conferencing thing and just have

you know, attract mode going or something with the lights. That's kinda fun. Plug it in, leave it your desk. Well, don't leave it plugged in'cause the battery will probably swell, but you could leave it while the battery's going.

I mean can we get behind can we get out of this system? That's what I'm curious. Like what's behind this? Obviously Android is behind this, but what other Oh no. They really are limiting this here, just volume, brightness, I'm sure I'm sure getting getting into Android won't be difficult on that. We could probably get in here with store factory settings. The vibration is is is Anything's possible with a keyboard. One of the better So spot on there.

Yeah, it's it's when they do the low res screens. Just this should not be over a hundred dollars. They should have done probably a worse chip. This should be at most at most a sixty dollar handheld. And even then it's kind of criminal. So I I can't def I can't recommend this. What? Oh I say you're laughing.

Like I've thought I if I had the funds to do it, I would want to like use the win five,'cause that's what I would probably try and get first, or the Apex if I had the chance to get one.

Like I would shut down my desktop rig and just try and do everything from that and see if I could do it. You you could. Yeah. Oh yeah. No there's there's a lot of things. Triple monitor I've got triple monitor set up here with all kinds of crap plugged in and everything. And like I I think that that would be fun to do. Especially'cause like the the win five is so small. Like to have all that power in that handheld powering my entire setup, like it would be cool to see. Like, cool to try out.

I I can't I can't wrap my mind around spending over I don't know, like okay, I spent what, thirteen hundred dollars was the most I've ever spent on a handheld and that would have been the Legion Go Two. But now he has a video out all about it, so I'm glad I waited. Uh Gigi Gamer Generation made an awesome, awesome mod where you can take Legion Go two controllers, I guess Legion Go one as well. And then he's a 3D printed situation or you can attach it to your Z Flow thirteen. And you have what looks like the most comfortable and best controller option for your flow. And let's skip ahead there to where he's actually showing it on the flow. Wait, this is not a That's not the right thing. Yeah.

Although you should watch his video on EGPUs. The man knows his E GPUs. We were talking about that the other day and that's Pulled that up by mistake. Okay, one second. Here we go. He did make a video. So he's got this bracket and he actually has spacers so you can access the side buttons and the ports on your flow, which is the thing that a lot of other solutions miss on this, you know, the the The G eight, the Rtronics extension. You gotta take into account. those side options. So okay, let's let's put it on the air. Yeah, there we go. Awesome. So yeah, you can use the the old style go one controls or the go two.

And I'll link this in the description after the show here, if you want to check this out. And I believe he's making it the files available for you all to go just do it yourself. He's not He's not doing it for you, he's not selling a service. I don't think Yeah, the the prints are available for uh free of charge. Free of charge. Which is really awesome. Yeah. So you can just go do this on your 3D printer.

You know, and he's a YouTuber also, but he does like everyday carry stuff and so he looks at handhelds because they're like everyday carry size. Look at all the iterations. Wow. He really cares that he G G super cares about the flow. And getting this right.

Great. The flow is an awesome all in one machine. I mean it really is. Yeah, I mean it is the end game. Maybe this is the what you ride their apocalypse out with, honestly. I mean you have the frickin' three ninety five Max or whatever chip in there. all the giggle bits of of RAM and Now awesome controls. What more could you want? Might be a little on the heavy side and your hands will need to s you'll need to do some strength training.

It's also got a kickstand that that doesn't creak like the SJ Gamhan. Right, a non-creaky. That's that's a solid hinge it's got. And on a sale on an open box situation, you know, the lowest I've seen open box is around fifteen hundred dollars. Which if you find one at that price, you don't even think. You don't even think. You're just like Maybe it's not a good thing. That might be a panic buy. It's an expensive panic buy.

I w I still wouldn't buy it. I still wouldn't buy it because that's too Some people are using this as a As a PC, as Product you know, product uh Everything you want. I can't speak. Freaking productivity's making me not be able to say the word, you know, that I need to say. Oh, the right controller is on sale at Amazon right now. Left controller's out of stock though, but the right controller is is You can have one. You know have Whoa, it's almost fifty percent off. It's forty three bucks.

Hol I I bought my set for also it was like fifty percent off. Yeah, it was on sale. I got the complete left and right for under a hundred bucks, I think. Dang, man. Yeah. I I wish I I wanna I'm I I wish I had a C uh That is a good one to write out the rampocalypse with nice beautiful screen. I just want to try. Have you not even tried one yet? I didn't love the go to. I did not love the It's worse. I couldn't just do that. I keep it. Yeah, it's good. I mean,

I don't think it's a hundred percent necessary handheld. It's it's huge. I I like the A little bit smaller, but is beautiful and it's comfortable. I you know what I like and I have one right now. I I have the two controllers, the go to controllers, with the Legion Go one main part. So you just put the two, you know, on the one. That's smart. And I'm borrowing it from Mikael F Team Retro here and and it has a battery mod, so it has like a eighty watt hour battery on it and a custom kickstand and

It's really cool. So I wanted to look at that not today but That's the thing, the Legion Go. I mean you you slap those go to controllers on it, do that battery mod You're cooking with us. I kinda like I kinda like it better than the go to at that point. It kinda looks like a batarang because the screen's not as tall as the go to. But Yeah. It's it's it's not bad. It's kinda cool. So Hey.

It's much cheaper, much more affordable way to go. You can get a Go Gen one for pretty good prices if you look around for used. Uh and in the game of the week, right? We missed game of the week today. Game of the week is Nom nineteen seventy five.
