Intro / Opening

Hey everybody, it's Bob Phibbs. Hey, you know, I just got done working out the why.

Finding Your Spark

And one of the things that I think is a challenge in 2025 is there's so much negativity coming at us.

The Impact of Negativity

I don't care where it's from. It's usually on social. And I don't know who needs to hear this today, but if you don't perk yourself up, you can't perk anyone else up. So I encourage you, instead of sitting there and feeling sad and thinking, oh, I can't do something, activity changes attitude. We often think attitude will change your activity. No, no, no. You can't just think, oh, I'm going to feel better.

Get your body moving. Go out there and shoot some hoops or go out there and knock your butt out on electrical or do some free weights or do something that gets the body moving. Because when you do that, I guarantee you, you will find that that spark within you comes alive again. And that's why we work out. Yeah, it'd be nice to lose weight. Be nice to do a lot of things, change my heart and all that. But it's state change that you care about. That's what matters.

The Importance of Movement

So if you're sitting there and saying, oh, I haven't been to the gym for a while. Ha ha, isn't that funny? It's not funny because that means all those opportunities you have to go out and get your body moving, to get your attitude moving, to feel better about your place in the world. And I hope that that resonates for you. If it does, then let me know in comments below. Bye.
