The Perilous Days of the End Times

It's time to renew your mind , for the time is now . Let's go , boys . Hey , welcome back to Renewed Mindsets , where we don't sugarcoat the truth . We confront it head-on with the Word of God . I'm Rick and I'm so glad you're here . Today . We're going to talk about something that's been burning in my spirit .

We are living in perilous times the last days the Bible warned us about . Now , this isn't just some dramatic headline to catch your attention . This is the reality that we're walking in , that we're living in every day , and I need to warn you . I'm not here to tickle ears today . I'm here to sound the alarm .

So buckle in , open your Bible and let's let the Holy Spirit convict not just our culture but us .

So let's just start today with Scripture . Let's begin in 2 Timothy 3 , verses 1-5 . Paul told Timothy but know this that in the last days , perilous times will come . Lovers of themselves , lovers of money , blasphemers , unholy lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God , having a form of godliness but denying its power . From such people turn away .

Do you realize what we're witnessing ? We're not just in troubled times , we're in a time where darkness is called light and wickedness is cloaked in religion . Everybody claims Jesus , but nobody wants to look like him .

We live in a generation where sinners rebuke the church , where people who don't know scripture , never preached a message , never laid hands on the sick , never ministered deliverance , will get online and tell seasoned men and women of God how to do ministry , and they'll say it while puffing on a cigarette , shouting Jesus between cuss words .

They've redefined Christianity to be whatever fits their lifestyle , but the Bible hasn't changed . God hasn't lowered his standard . He's still holy and he's still calling us to be holy .

Now we're not just dealing with rebellious sinners who don't know God . We're dealing with the spirit of religion . That's even more dangerous because these people think they're saved . They say I'm a believer , but they live like the devil . They wear the name tag of Christianity but they walk in disobedience . They say grace , but they mean license to sin .

Now Paul said in 2 Timothy 3.8 , licensed to sin . Now Paul said in 2 Timothy 3.8 , now as Janice and Jambre resisted Moses , so do these also resist the truth . Men of corrupt minds , disapproved concerning of the faith . Did you catch that ? These people aren't just confused , they're resistant .

They actively fight against truth , they oppose holiness , they hate conviction , they mock obedience and they slander preachers who still believe in living set apart . It's the same spirit that came up against Moses .

It's the same spirit that tried to stop Jesus , and now it's at work in our churches , behind pulpits , in our homes and even in our own hearts , if we're not careful .

All right , y'all sit down . Let's talk about the American version of Christianity . It's not the gospel , it's a counterfeit . The standard has become so low you can barely trip over it , and most American Christians don't call themselves saints anymore . They proudly say I'm just a sinner saved by grace .

As an excuse to stay in sin , you go out into the streets and you ask somebody if they're a believer and you'll hear oh yeah , I believe in Jesus . But then you listen to the life . You listen to their life , their mouth , their attitude , their weekend plans and you see zero fruit .

Jesus said you'll know them by their fruit , not their hashtags , not their playlists , not their once a week church attendance . We're dealing now with religious rebels , people who honestly believe that they're right with God , all while walking in full rebellion to his word . They say things like hell is hateful . Being holy is legalism .

Obedience is judgmental Judgmentalism . Obedience is judgmental . Conviction is oppression . And preachers like me . We're dangerous because we won't water it down . But here's what it says in Isaiah , chapter 5 , verse 20 says Woe to those who call evil good and good evil , who put darkness for light and light for darkness . Woe to those .

That means judgment is coming for those who flipped God's word upside

down . People , judgment is here . This isn't something that's on the way , it's already here . You can see it . Our children are confused about their identity . Our churches are more worried about attendance than repentance . Our pastors are quiet on sin , but they're loud on tithes . Our gospel is motivational instead of transformational .

The perilous times in the Bible are here , and here's what I want to say . If you're a believer who's awake right now , you're not crazy , you're not being too intense , you're not doing too much . People tell me , rick , you don't need to do all that . Just love people and I tell them I do all this because I do love people .

If your house is on fire , I'm not handing you a scented candle and telling you that it's all good . I'm kicking in the door and I'm yelling wake up . We're in the last days . You've got to stop playing games with your soul . You've got to stop excusing the compromise . It's time to come out from among them and be separate .

Let me end here by talking to the remnant . I know some of you are tired . You feel outnumbered . You feel mocked , misunderstood , even by other so-called Christians . But don't stop . Don't water it down , don't conform . You were born for this time . You were called to carry the fire . You were chosen to be a voice in the wilderness .

Not everybody's going to listen , but someone will . The Bible says from such people turn away . You don't need validation from lukewarm believers . You don't need a platform to speak the truth . Just keep standing , keep preaching , keep living holy , because Jesus is coming back and he's not coming for a compromised bride , he's coming for a spotless one .
