Episode description

We have all broken promises, and have been wronged by others breaking trust with us. Broken trust leaves us uncertain, robbed of joy, and fearful. In Joshua chapter 5, Israel is dealing with these same emotions, this same fight for trust. Their parents’ generation had sinned, and now they were afraid that they had out-sinned God’s patience, and His faithfulness to His promises to them. Will He take His promises back, or can He still be trusted in spite of Israel’s disobedience? The good news is, He can; God’s grace and His promises never wear thin, and there is great hope for us in this. In this episode, Pastor Jordan explores this theme in Joshua 5.
