One of my favorite parts of the Christmas story is how quickly the Shepherds respond to the good news of Jesus’ birth. Luke tells us they hurried off to see this newborn baby as soon as the angels left them. Why? When something you’ve been waiting for finally arrives you don’t wait any longer - you hurry off to participate in it as quick as you can. This Christmas we talk about why the birth of Jesus makes what you’ve always hoped for a reality in the here and now.
