Apple's bringing the MagSafe connector, SD Card Reader, and media/function keys back to the MacBook Pro (2021). At least according to recent reports. That's the M1 or M1X MacBook Pro that's expected to also go Apple Silicon as soon as this summer.


But why would Apple go to all the trouble of reverting almost every major change they made to the MacBook Pro back in 2016? Including the butterfly keyboard they replaced with the new Magic keyboard just over a year ago?
