Remembrance Day at ANZAC Cottage 2024
In this spirit, the Friends of ANZAC Cottage has chosen the theme of “wartime letters” for our Remembrance Day commemorations. Commencing at 4 pm on Monday, November 11, at the historic ANZAC Cottage, 38 Kalgoorlie Street, Mount Hawthorn, the event will feature the “Field of Remembrance”, a display from the Western Australian Military Digital Library, a mini exhibition about the original Remembrance Day (once called Armistice Day), lots of poppies and the unique opportunity to explore the Cottage and hear its compelling story.
Sunset Service, will be held from 5 pm to 6 pm featuring a very special surprise.
