Welcome to remember 64 this week, we play the level again because Scyther wouldn't pop out when I threw 20 bester balls out of it. Hi there everyone. This is Luigi and You have shown up on level 12-2. That's right. This is the first level that has a second stage to it. Hi, I'll be your host this week. David is on vacation. It's his turn to be on vacation and he's playing N64 by a large body of water. And I am going to talk about more Pokemon Snap with you.

But this week, I also have an old friend who has been on a different Podcast of mine, but not like every week like Michael and David. Hi, Adam, say hi to everybody. What? Oh, you said you said this was an emergency. You still me to come over is that you said, you said it was like urgent. You texted me in all caps. I believe the exact words I used were a poke emergency and what's not my fault.

If autocorrect didn't know what that was that there's nothing wrong no no I mean other than I really wanted to talk about Snap. And then I wasn't able to, I, I had to leave my wife and children to come here as fast as I could. Well, I mean, we're not going to like play video games, that's that's what. Now that would be a response, right? That's when when you've really that's a real dereliction of

Duty at that point. Hi. Adam tell everyone about the intend 064 well than to know 64's the greatest console that has ever existed. Okay. In my In my professional opinion. Okay, professional you do get paid to say these well I know. Okay, okay no no, but II would like to think that I have played a professional amount of the N64

in my life, okay. Someone should pay me because I would have a lot of money if I was paid for my time for your Indian 64, just just as like a consultant, you know? Yeah, or The Homebrew scene. Maybe right now? What we'll see who can get, we'll get someone. So there's got to be like 12, Discord, service out there. They just need someone just like you. Yeah, I would love that if someone could just find a way to

pay you for the N64. Knowledge, you've accumulated Adam. And I go way, way way, way very way back. When did you first hear? First Time guest question, what? What are your first experience? is with the N64, you know, playing it or owning it well, My first experience at the N64. I remember it. Like it was yesterday. Oh yeah, I do. Thank you. I was gonna do it if you didn't. Okay. Doodle helped. I, I was eight years old. Mmm, it was my birthday.

It was, it was evening. I thought the day was over, it had been a good day. I think. That's right. That, that, if it's your birthday, Then that means it's. Oh my goodness. My birthday to. That's right. It was our birthday. It was our birthday. It was okay. It was okay. It was our birthday. Hmm. It had been a good day and I walked upstairs and I was going to bed and to my shock. There was an N64 plugged into a new TV in my room. Yes. Old Faithful. Yes, it was a good TV.

I wonder where that time. But I still hear him at night. It might be the same one I'm watching on eBay, maybe we'll be reunited one day. Anyway, Mario's face was up on the Mario 64, you know, pull his face screen and play a little Mario 64 and I had been playing it ever since. It's a good game. It was I like yeah. Okay. I like the game a lot. Yeah I still. I still play it. Yeah, I still hear him at night. Absolutely. E, I'm into the 60s. I'm into the my, I don't know.

Third, maybe Mario, 64 mod. Now, I just got into the whole mod scene, which is I mean, like two or three years ago, you just got into it, I guess. So know, way more about it than I ever will. Yeah, Mario, 64 Star Road was really great. That was the first one and then, oh, man, it's been a while. I had to. What's that? My I can't. I can't remember the ones I played. Yeah. I Two mods. Yeah, I definitely I will I need to check those out. Smash remix just came out with a new update for.

I don't know if anyone knows if you do not know if you like the 64 and you like Super Smash Brothers and you don't know what to match remixes. Do yourself a favor and look up smash remix. It's a very very male s. Stuff. Yeah, they're bringing in the new characters, into the 64, there's limited movesets like in the old game but it's it's it's too much to try to sum up but yeah, kind of stages, the care they have put into the game. Mad piano is in it from Mario 64 that the haunted piano.

Yeah. You can be the haunted Pio. What that moves? That now. I'm not. And also just, you know, perfect and 64 smash Kirby. Moves. So yeah absolutely St. R curve is available so that's always good. Yeah I'm into the Mario Kart mods and I don't know. Anyway. Doing Kong Racing stuff. Yeah. GoldenEye mods. Yeah yeah yeah. What we're will have to get into Mods on here at some point. Yeah that's not really. That's not really what this. Oh no. I like the N64.

It's I'm trying to say. Yeah I have a history of liking the system. Let's talk about. Pokemon Snap. Okay, okay, so I beat it for the first time and I really played it for the first time now, I played it. I'm setting it up this way to say, I did not have not played much Pokemon Snap. The only time I believe I have ever played Pokemon Snap was when you were playing Pokemon Snap. Mmm. And it was another, it's another instance of the clips that is Ocarina of Time in my like

childhood, okay? Of like that looks cool. Don't I'm never gonna play this guy like the Banjo Kazooie as well against it like Paper Mario games that you absolutely love to death. I just was like oh yeah that's that's a game. Yeah you play Pokemon Snap up in my room. Yeah. And I think I probably would have played the beach level or maybe even the second level. Okay? But you were playing it and A thing, I think I know about that game came from, however, many afternoons.

I watched you play, okay. And so, I was able to beat it, mostly sharing information, back and forth with David because we were streaming together. But noticing things to be, like, I know there are ways to activate chain reactions. So to speak something like later in a level, something will will have will happen because I did something early on, and I only know that from, like, listening to you. Tell me how the game works. Yeah. And so, yeah. It did. How, how much did you play this game?

I don't really remember. I've Pokemon Snap was one of the games. I remember, my my pair, all the freedom. My parents gave me gave me with putting the TV up in my room, you know? And just saying, hey, don't play this. When you're not supposed to. Yeah. Pokemon Snap was one of the games that I really remember. That not working out. Yeah, and me kind of taking license, you know, I get, well, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, Mom and Dad, if you're listening to this, I love you.

And and but you were developing, you know, photography's, I was. Yeah. You know anesthetic, I really yeah framing. Yeah, a lot of getting as close to your subject as humanly possible. Yes. And keep It in the middle of before. Absolutely. Absolutely I remember, okay, I remember once plane, I was playing Pokemon Snap so much that I had played it.

Like I started playing it after I was supposed to go to bed and I was playing all through the night until and I remember like being interrupted on the elec on the like, the power plant level. Okay. Yeah. And like I was trying to get a picture of Electabuzz and I'm doing my dad is just right? Yeah. Never. Yeah. Like and you'd like done this three times. Yeah, you had, and you can't just like, do it again. You've got to play the whole level again and try to go.

Here's the little boost pad. Yeah. You know. And okay. Anyway. And I played it until after my dad. Yeah, I had to get up for work. Oh yeah. He was like coming up the stairs because he had another room to like, across from my room, where he kind of kept some of his stuff for work. And because he got a have that I like soups early. Yeah, he did. He, did I say, I mean, I was don't get me wrong. I was up late, and I've been playing, huh? Time. That's what I was like. Yeah.

So anyway, yeah, I played it a lot. I played it when I should have been sleeping and I didn't sleep. So I didn't sleep as much as I played it. So that's how much I played the game there but it was a while ago because that's the long answer. Yeah. Because like as a game, it it's It seems infinite. Okay you know because like there's just Pokemon running around like as a kid like as a kid it seems if it like yes. If there are any number of weird things that could be hidden

anywhere. Yes and all I had and that's I think that that really is a lot of what the 64 the entirety of the 64 era was, was anything could be anywhere absolutely. We're out. Of 2D now. Like, where is it? Yeah, like where's the Luigi? Where's the Triforce. Where's where is it? Yes, and I know. Stop holding out on me. Yeah, I know it's in here somewhere and you know, and that and that was also compounded by how many secrets were in the

Pokemon getting, right? Because all those weird stuff turned out to be true in the Pope. I mean not all with it but there's a lot of weird stuff in the Pokemon. Yes. Get the Squirtle and a manky like Like the Mew level opens up or something. Yeah, like no. No, it doesn't shut up. That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. It's like you. Oh yeah, you can beat the running man. Oh yeah, whatever. Yeah. Now know. That's real actually.

Yeah. Hi. Yeah. So um yeah it was fulfilling every at least my wish me and my friends wishes for Pokemon to be real. Yeah. Wanted to do you wanted to be in three-dimensional space. So, Pokemon walking around, we all just wish Pokemon were actual. You want to be taught snap, you know? Yeah, a game was giving you that. Yeah, I mean and and yeah, maybe that is the closest we ever got until like, Pokemon go. Yeah, probably. So because, yeah, it just, you're not really capturing them.

You're not doing anything more than like messing with them and sort of interacting with them or getting them to like move down the river. A little bit now or something like that. But yeah. So because that that is usually my answer for if a video game Universe could be real which, which franchise which series would you want? And like Pokemon. Absolutely. Like hands down. Yeah. Like it's not my favorite video game of all time it. I like RPGs and stuff but like

are you kidding? Yeah, absolutely. Yeah. I think I think the popularity. He of Pokemon that we experienced I would say is still alive and well today. Yeah, I mean people we don't have to explain how popular Pokemon was, I guess we experience. I don't know our most of the listeners of the show. Like are they kind of in our? I don't know, I guess maybe I think I assumed that like people all have the same life experiences me but who knows is

out there listening. I mean Pokemon is, is almost Universal. Yeah, you know, and it is just like best experienced in in LA. Elementary. Middle School environment. Where you are surrounded by other kids who have Gameboys? Yeah and are ready to throw down or trade or you know do whatever you like. And so it's almost like a very formative experience that a lot of people have had I think we being in the first wave of it where like the original 151 will never die.

Like maybe there will always be a massive appeal for those. Mmm. And a lot of the early games and stuff. Well yeah we'll still kind of be impacting. Everyone is going to want to play gen 1 and drag on gen 1 because General in is broken and

hilariously hilarious ways. Like we're going to get to Pokemon Stadium at some point and they fix some of the weird stuff that gen1 had but there's still some of it in there and it's kind of funny like maybe maybe our experience is a little unique because just Just for, for anyone this age that their experience is a little unique because they got to see how Pokemon exploded onto the scene, but Pokemon is still incredibly popular. I maybe we just, yeah, where I'm

going where I'm going with this. Is that It's just wild that Pokemon was so popular. That they made a game where all you do is look at them and people bought it and it worked. I think David said it was it came out in the summer of 99 and it was the most rented video game or or N64 video game for the entire year. And that's what my copy was a blockbuster copy. Yeah, okay.

Yeah. And I I only bought the game later from a friend in middle school for like a quarter because like I need to get it recorded. No, yeah, my best deal ever. Yeah. Joel's younger brother. I bought it from him for a quarter. He didn't want anymore. Yeah. That's a pretty sweet deal. Yeah. All right. I don't know. I don't know if I can top that one. Yeah and I don't know like it was just an immediate thing to wear. Like, even even with like Stadium.

I never really experienced but like, oh, yeah, that's that. I saw the appeal. Like just bring your team over here and fight on your TV. Yeah. And you can see the moves. Yeah. And with SNAP same thing color in 3D. And oh my gosh they're doing cool stuff in like and with SNAP we're like immediately I see the appeal because especially with the puzzle box nature of it. There's just so many things to

try and figure. Out and like I still kind of want to go back and and find a few of the ones that like I knew there was something going on, but I didn't know how to how to make it work. I was trying to shoot buckets into the vileplume, you know, on the river level and like I said before I got the flute and I didn't know what to do. I'm just like, maybe I gotta get it just like like just Reggie Miller it just right and get it in there and like it never

worked like oh there's a flute. Okay yeah. Have you seen a any, any you YouTube videos of people, like exploring the boundaries of the game or I've going, I don't even know what do you call that when you do that? I forget. What's the, the was a break? The yeah. Out of bounds? Yeah. Yeah, I'm not trying to, you know, I'm not trying to plug you call it. Oh, I'm not trying to plug any YouTube channel, right?

No, no. But I will try to set, remember the out of bounds guy to be, there's a guy who does that and for the Pokemon Snap episode. He had a lot of interesting things but But the Professor Oak Guy voice actor. Uh, he like narrated part of that episode. If my Mo really, it's me. Yeah, wonderful. Yeah. You get you gotta get Professor. Okay, I come in here and talk about Pokemon. I would love to talk to whoever that is. Yeah, and get him to say, terribly inappropriate things.

But that's what Pokemon bridged is for. Do you have you? He's not, I guess he's not in the new one. If you played the new one, I have. No, I I haven't I'm not opposed to it. I just haven't gotten around. Yeah. Too many 64 months like try to. I don't know if it has the like motion gyro controls or something like that, but that was, that was what everyone was thinking with like, the Wii U, with the GamePad that you could,

you could do something. Like, why is this would be perfect on. We do that would be to do that. Yeah, yeah, it probably, you know, actually they were right but how we? Yeah, I have. Really played the new one either because I hadn't played the old one. Yeah. And I, you know, I usually like I'll watch when it like, speed runs of it. Iran. I'll watch it sometimes, but it's a lot of staring at the sky so that you reduce lag. Oh, no way. And then rotating our camera. Just so.

So that you are like on the best possible shot at the right time. So take the picture and then go back to looking at the sky again. And then later, once you get the Apple, you have to go back through again. So it's looking at the sky and till you only get the Apple parts and stuff. Yeah. So it's a lot of if, you know, the game, you'll probably know what's happening. But like, oh, there's my Pikachu's on a surfboard. He's gone, you know, sort of

thing. So yeah. Now, I'm kind of looking forward to actually watching one kind of getting it. Yeah, but yeah, yeah, there was a one of the Pokemon card they they made Pokemon cards. From like kids, submitting their Pokemon Snap pictures. Did you really? Yeah. Like they had some kind of contest where you could submit, I don't know how, but somehow somehow, you could submit your Pokemon Snap pictures to whoever would have been in charge of that. And they took the God knows who

they took them. And they took the ones they liked and made them into Pokemon Koke you can still. I mean you buy them used okay? But I've run into some of them a card shows before then like this is they're just cute little. Little Timmy's. Yeah scored old card. Okay. Yeah, yeah, because the David brought up these like Postage stamp would be generous for the size of these stickers that like you could get printed off at Blockbuster but yeah, like you can't bring in your pictures

that you can print off. Like a, he said they were these tiny tiny little stickers of your Pokemon Snap photos. Yahweh like that alive. No, that's so cool. I know I didn't know that. Yeah. Yeah. But I hadn't heard the the Pokemon card one. Which almost sounds like a website that like you just can't print your own. Yeah, you probably could never bring your own. I want to say like the Pikachu one, like isn't even that good like the shot is kind of weird. But I mean, yeah, I don't know.

Favorite level. The level where you're trying to get Magikarp to turn into the canyon where you trying to get magic again, Gyarados. Okay, like that moment, really sticks out to me playing the game, but I think my favorite level is the Rainbow Road level, where you're in space and we're you just spoilers spoilers for Pokemon Snap chatty 64. You're in, you're in space and you're like on a rainbow Cruz and Mew shows up. And it's like, oh, you look like

do you not like them? No, but you can't, I This is am. I'm just remembering the no, no, you're right, you're right. But it's just like, it's just you and me hanging out. Is it, was it only Mew? Yeah. Yeah. It's been so I don't know, you didn't even take her to sit on the what? I don't even think. Because the camera like freaks out. Yeah. And then everyone thinks you're crazy. When you go back. Yeah, I saw em you like that's, that's wonderful. Yeah, sure.

Stop patronizing me Professor Oak. I saw him. You. Okay. Okay, settle down Todd. We all Get Nurse Joy on the phone, please. Yeah, I don't know. I guess that level that wasn't a level was pretty cool. I mean it's I mean, it's pretty cool. The game was building up to it and that that's what the game was telling, what I'm supposed to be excited about. And that's what my I mean. You beat the crap out of a manky and and and go hang out with me. Oh yeah. That's I'm that was written

somewhere and the eons, right? So I do you prefer level. I've ever I do do the weird cave with the cave is Jigglypuff's. Yes, and I tried to get that. Yes, I tried there were grammars, he's in there sad because Jigglypuff is being chased by like all the coughing. That was a bad scary memory. It's true. It was, it's pretty rough. You don't worry about, we got there though. I actually only got to do it. I think the other one Sadly didn't make it, I don't know. Kenyans pretty good.

Change is good because any also you can get Dragonite to pop out of that Whirlpool. You can get star me to pop our wonderful. I think Gyarados the pop out of that Whirlpool. Yeah. Yeah. I think you're just came out of the waterfall or the waterfall. Yeah I maybe that's I don't want to be, I don't know. I got you. No no, no no, it's true. These are there. Different different W's. Water features as We're so there's the canyon and the volcano and the oh, yeah.

And the, what are the fucking has got Moultrie? What's the first sorry? No, the first ones, the beach. And then there's do with the Lapras. Yeah, that's got the light yellow bunch of lappers in the corner. 10, another great N64. Mod for someone to play would be a the Banjo Kazooie mod where you go into the Pokémon Snap Beach. Anyway, that's an aside. Okay, go ahead. What do you do? I don't, I don't know. I've never played that one, it's just on my list. Because I'm never going to do in

my life. I don't have time for you just run around as Banjo and Kazooie you. Yeah, run around is Banjo and Kazooie and you get your Nostalgia fix and then bright, and then you turn the game off. Oh good? Yeah good. I'm into it. Yeah, me too. Are there mods for this? Their Mantra Pokemon Snap? I don't know. That's a good question. I wouldn't you, what would it be? I mean just new levels with someone crafting a whole new level. Yeah.

That's like a whole new game. I guess you're still using the same. Yeah, you mentioned you wanted to talk about like how you actually beat the game. Like I can't remember because you progress based on points, okay? And so I think other than the levels that are unlocked by doing the weird secret thing, everything is given to you by .60 apple-shaped Pokémon food are Offered to you after like 25,000 accumulated Point, okay? And so, it's certain markers will trigger certain events,

okay? And the last one, I think, is 150,000 and Oaks like, wow, I feel something and my bones and do some you somewhere. Oh no, dude, it's like take a bunch of pictures, right? Number guess signs. There are natural features. I remember colorful, colorful pretend animals running around, right? Yeah, that's all I remember. Well, there are natural features like in the mountain that look like a giant Dugtrio or one of them was a tree that I don't know what.

I don't know what it was supposed like am Arawak, maybe. Okay. It was awkward, be each level has a secret Pokemon thing, it comes naturally occurring structure, or something, okay? Or the one in the power plant. Whatever area is like, it'll light up the my little like, light, light up this projector or something. We will cast a shadow. That looks like. I remember that something like that. Yeah. And once you once you've gathered all of those, Then you can unlock the secret final area

or something. Okay. And it looks like, dude, check this out. And then you go through there and then no one believes you. And you spend the rest of your life in an asylum. Yeah. Wow. That really has a dark ending there. Yeah. You know, it's rough, but don't make them like they used to. Yeah. No, you know, no, I rather going to say video game protagonist I know he got to be stronger than old Todd snap.

Apparently, that's right. Yeah. It what point do the Pokemon take over humanity and the island? Really, I guess we'll start with the island since this is Pokemon Snap. Like dude are we do we have any agency here or are they just kind of letting us live amongst them and take their picture and their weird vroom vroom car? I think it's like a It's A Bug's Life situation where, where, where the we're kind of like the Grasshoppers. And at any point, the Pokemon

could absolutely destroy us all. Okay. And we would be the Pokemon, but, oh, they can, but they don't, they don't realize that yet. They, oh, so they're not in on it. This is, I feel like this isn't this isn't post climax of bugs. Like, yeah, this is pretty time. Yeah, this is, this is, this is they they don't realize the The power they have, right? And so that's kind of how I see. So, we're the bourgeoisie.

Yeah, okay, absolutely. Okay, okay, I see if and when they realize that will they just take pictures of us, or will we be forced to fight in arenas against other human beings with like double slap. I basically being our only move. I've tried to figure out which women have more dignity, right? It does it depend on the Pokemon I guess? Or Are they one? You know, do they have a hive mind? I don't think that. No, I don't think I mind. I was just gonna say like, you

know, when you know, they vote. I don't know. They're, they're all down with the cause they are one in their vision. Is it like? They, they put in their apple-shaped Pokémon food in as like union. Dues or something. I don't know. Yeah. So but but I'm just afraid that like will be forced to fight in arenas at some point really is all it is. Yeah, it is this Todd. The only one who's in danger here because if so, then I can give up Todd, you know, that's

fine. I guess he can be like the one of the really terrible characters. And Jurassic Park, that gets eaten pretty quickly. You something like that. Yeah, so yeah, that's fine with me. Okay? We figured it out. So the Pokemon. Hopefully, we'll just want to take our picture and we'll give them Todd throw the occasional Apple rice, right? Yes, of course. Course, you know what will get hit with do? Do know, is, is it actually an eye? It's I, is it an apple because

example, shaped human food. I'm gonna say I'm gonna say it's an Apple at that point. I'm gonna put my men, put my reputation on the line and say it's an app. I'm gonna go ahead and say you're right on that one. And you can take that to the bank. Yeah. And then juice it. I presume. And that's how you invest apples. Wow, yeah. Hey, I like Really like Pokemon. Mmm. I just don't play them. Yeah anymore. Yeah and having I think okay yeah leaf green.

Yeah yeah and years after it came out or eight to ten years after it came out was. Last time I played a Pokemon game, I think I think I'm in a similar boat. I did play ex and I did play sun and moon. That was interested. OK. Yeah, I heard those were those were fun. Yeah, they were fun. I most recently, I played a randomizer Partridge. I tried to do another as lock challenge. Why did the randomizer? But I got about five minutes into that game before, in which one it was blue. I thought.

Okay, I tried to do a turn to do a gen 1, randomizer Nuzlocke. There's a lot, there's a lot you need to know with Jen one. I was, I was Was laughing at its absurdity earlier, but like, there's just so many dumb things that secret tricks that you can abuse in that game. Yeah, I want to do a randomizer Pokemon Stadium challenge. Oh, because you could pick just any team you wanted. Mmm and then face a gauntlet of a red and blue story Gauntlet. Yeah.

You know you fight a bunch of different trainers and and a co-host of mine on a different show did that with with one of his friends and I was like that's pretty good. I kind of want to do that. That would be fun. Yeah and that's but that's 64 based. So you do you have you heard of? I think it's Kaizo poke. On Stadium. No, that's that's a 64 mod as well. But it's supposed to be like Pokemon Stadium. Okay, hard mode Elite mode do. Is he do they just tweak the AI? What, I think.

So, you'll have to look it up but it's it's I have played a little bit of that because this is just like, you can choose any Pokemon you want to. Yeah. Does that have a story mode or was that only Coliseum? And unlike those that single player, I don't think it has a story. Okay. So it's that's just, that's just a toy box for your, for your transfer card, your transfer Pak, you could put a Action together by the people you progressively face, right? Yeah. But no there's no story to do

come to my memory. Okay. Yeah I want to play I want to play some more that. Yeah I guess I've really played more of the ancillary or not answer. It tertiary I guess Pokemon games but not actually like a tried-and-true entry in a long time. So Oh Luigi, I need to ask you a serious question. Shoot. You play Pokemon Snap. Recently. Do you remember seeing Porygon anywhere? Yes, Porygon is in Pokemon Snap. Yes, is he? Yes, we're on the walls. He is yes.

Okay, okay, you're okay. So I see what you're doing here. You're trying to get like this. Porygon isn't getting enough love and you're like the the What is it that the Temple of the unknown? God, and you're just like, it's Porygon here. He is. Everybody needs to look at my beautiful boy. Porygon. Absolutely. Okay. Our cause is just and you know, Oregon did nothing wrong. And we need to free pour a gun.

He opens the one of the other levels you have to hit him to like, open up, you do. Oh my goodness. He's like he's, he Blends in with the wall. And it like it's just this weird thing moving around. And it's like the same texture as the wall but like not but maybe hit it with a pester ball. Like Porygon pops out. It's like whatever he take pictures of best boy and one of them wasn't actually boy. Yeah. Oh my goodness. How can you stay mad at him?

I you just you just can't, you know, he wiggles his Waggles and and there he is. Look gamefreak Nintendo. I understand. I get that, you know, things happen, but we've got to forgive, you've gotta, we've got to have some grace, even though it wasn't poor guns fault, it was Pikachu's fault. I mean I was there, if you roll the tape back, I saw it was Pikachu's fault. Just dead to rights. Like, he's a rat. We all know, and I for one, I think, I think Porygon should be

the face of the franchise. Thank you. I was thank you, notes. As recompense, at least for six months. For the jockstrap incident. Wait one what wait, what? What institute are you talking about? I would videotape. Are you talking about? I'm, I'm referring to a certain episode of the Pokemon animated series. Oh, okay. Are you referring to some other

tape? I'm talking about the, like, the Christmas party from like 99. Oh goodness, that it got out of hand and and Porygon is really taking the heat for that. We've all done. This is, is this the this is the infamous, this is Eli time. Yeah, this is Link to that. So, this is why I never said, I don't think this a, I saw that episode during its run. I don't think anyone did. Okay, kiss that happened? That happened in Japan. Yeah, Japanese kids did. Yeah.

But, um, okay. So, so, what should I set? Should I tell the story? Oh, gosh, I didn't know. Is that if we doing this? Okay? Yeah, sir. My summarize surmise summarize, the infamous, the maybe the most famous episode of the Pokemon. Cartoon. Okay. I'm gonna I'm gonna tell the story in reverse. Okay. Like maybe one Seinfeld episode that's right. Thank you. A bunch of kids had seizures because of terrible flashing red-and-blue images on a certain episode of the Pokemon animated

series, okay? These, these flashing images were the result of an attack that Pikachu did while in cyberspace to ward off Team Rocket. Oh, of course all wow. As they were leaving a name. But yeah, yeah. They were trying to log on to America Online. Yeah. Yeah, right. Okay um and steal our minutes. Yes and yeah yeah. Thiago trying to steal the minutes for back online and Porygon did. But helped write the entire episode. Save the day right? Delivered Pikachu and his

friends. Ash and our heroes with a with the most sunny disposition. Yes. The digital Pokemon Kanata meget of word, say, the entire time, literally carrying the team. Right? And and Pikachu at the end at the end. Yes Pikachu. Did this attack these red and blue lights flash. All these kids have to be hospitalized. I don't know. It was all these kids. Well, it was it was a coward that we're chill. There were children. It might have been blown up propaganda.

There were there were children. Children were children, were negatively affected, and who took the fall? Was it Pikachu, which should have been, what was there any due process? No, no, there's no justice in this world, Porygon took the fall. Porygon took the Fall For You. On deserves Justice. He does. Yeah. Hashtag Freeport a gun. I agree. I yeah. I mean we didn't he and he has been barred. He's been locked out from children's. Birthday party kicked out of the

family. Yeah, in the Pokemon franchise has, I can't make excuses for this because in Japan, they also would normos love her Pikachu. So yeah, yeah, no, no. Yeah, look, I'm not saying we gotta get revenge on Pikachu. I'm just saying, you're okay, can't can't Porygon come out of his They shell his, his cyber jail. Yeah, I think so. Yeah, I think I think he's ready. I think we're ready for more. Poor guy. I'm and not just pouring onto, I

think we're ready for a reboot. Yeah, the oh shit were yes, Adam thanks for thanks for talking to me about Pokemon Snap. Only only Pokemon Snap absolutely buddy to be here. Adam, where can they find you? Plug your shows. Leave me alone. They can find me on my xanga page. Oh, yeah, Mr. Ordinary, I think is my profile name gazenga. Okay. Yeah, that hit me up on Sangha. Okay, you can find me on RuneScape. Whoo, that's a good one. That's why I do all of my networking on my Social Media

stuff. It, I do it through my RuneScape Avatar. It's Our Generations LinkedIn. Absolutely. Yeah, I've found I've found so many opportunities and They're RuneScape. Yeah, you know like kill ten fire chickens. Right right right. But you know there's going to be some real world. Fire jobs, awesome, IRL opportunities real soon. Okay. So just, you know, I mean, but you can get ten gold pieces for

killing those chicken. Yeah, I know, I know, I know but I'm just saying, you know, those are always our offer me a real job over RuneScape, I'm there. Okay. Yeah, I'm saying this chicken, it's got to be worth something. I hear that there is millions of dollars being destroyed in Eve online every day. Wow, so get in there. Getting good. See a space trucker. Hey oh wow those those kids they don't seem to know each other at all and that was great. Hey everyone thanks so much for

listening. You know if if you were someone named David and you were just on vacation and are back, what would you say to the listeners of remember 64? First, I would say hello and I gave you. Hello. Thanks for stepping in man. I think this is actually a really cool idea. I think timing-wise it didn't work out just because life gets in the way and we didn't ask you the episode together, but I think we did a live stream of the of the game from start to

finish. I think we both surprised ourselves that we actually finish the feeling within a few hours each. Wait a minute. Yeah, hold on. Wait, maybe worse. Mess around in here. Smoke starting to talk about Mew. This movie might be getting somewhere. Yeah, so I thought, you know, like I think it's a great idea that that you had a chance to talk about it and talk about it with someone, you have history with and someone who clearly really loves the console, and

the game, all that stuff. So, I think it's a great idea. I think this is something that we might do with other guests, even, even if we're both on the initial episode, we'll do a second level to. Yeah, you know. So it's a There's, there's other people that, like, certain games that have may have been covered on the show before and there's, there's always the chance of doing a level such-and-such Dash to or you know, whatever, yeah or a 90s expansion pack or

something. I know they've got an expansion packs of, you know, thought that was like for Diablo and everything but yeah. Oh yeah, I do know. We could dream though. We could only dream that does my little buddy cartridge. You can expand on Mario 60-some. Sometimes there were games that were like, just read we need to reissue a patch but not not running on the, on the North American side for the 64. Yeah, very infrequent. So yeah. So thanks.

Thanks for jumping in and good stuff and I think that was yeah, it's awesome, absolute opposite. Listen hopefully people people enjoy that, we go back to a certain game and then we're going to go to. If people are listening to this in order level 13 will be a new game. Will tease ahead, Just a Touch Touch. I think I don't want to date things a little bit but we're

heading back to sports. So yeah, in sports scene and we'll see what happens from there, but if you want to help us narrow down our list after 13, patreon.com slash remember. 64 show is the place to go. Not only can you help us sort of narrow down our list for what's coming up in the next month or two? I would say but you also get all these episodes early at least a few days early usually record

earlier in the week. These come out typically on Wednesdays and you'll probably Get them Sundays Mondays at the latest. So you get a little bit of a bonus there, but as little as a dollar a month, you can do that. So that is how you get that done and there's nothing better than forcing, your favorite podcast hosts to play a crappy game if you want to. So exactly exactly one of life's few Joys. Yeah. For the most part we dodged that bullet, you know, I started off

doing the first few episodes. If you see them on the podcast list, if you haven't, haven't listened to them yet. Yet, they're the big hitters, right? And we're going to get into things that are not big hitters pretty soon. I mean, it's not happen. We thought it would happen with with Mission Impossible, 64, and that ended up being a diamond in the rough. That was great. That was a nice really, really good surprise. Also to use ahead to level 13.

I will be talking about a level 13 finishing that game because I said, I would, and I did, but we haven't talked about it yet on the podcast. So I will talk about the last couple of Holds that I ended. Okay, okay, cool, I'm excited pleasantly surprised enough that I was definitely going to finish this game and I did. All right and then as well across social media at remember 64 Show Twitter where the cool kids are and Tick Tock is where the cooler kids are I guess.

Sure, let's go. That's what I've heard through my ears that have hair in them. Exactly. I have quite a quite a bit too, so it's not quite clear, but brought every once in a while I get a little notification on my phone, that's It says some people like the stuff that's been to pick up radio waves sometimes. You know, it's just it's kind of friction thing. Yeah, so that's it. That's where you find all our all our stuff. And again, man, I just want to

say thanks and good stuff. That was fun to listen to. Yeah. Hey, hope everyone enjoyed it. So, hey, remember keeps a pixelated everybody. What do we always say? Stay pixelated. My friends.
