Hey, hey, hey, I'm bad with something for you to think about. I want to talk about temptation again. I think this will be the third time that I did an episode on temptation. What I want you to truly, truly, truly understand is it is not the temptation. It's you. Let me say it again. It is not the temptation. It is you. Now I'm here talking to you as a living witness. It is not the temptation, it is you. When you are fixated and focused on
God, the Father which is in Heaven and Jesus. I don't care what that temptation is, you will not succumb to it. That is why it is crucial detrimental. It is a life or death decision to choose Jesus to follow God. Because when you really, really, really, really for certainty on that path of righteousness, temptation can come to your left, to your right, in front of you, behind you. You will not fall for
it. You will not. You won't because for one thing, you know the world is not your home, and you also don't have your eyes on the world worldly things. I mean, let me tell you, there is only a few of us out of the millions and millions and millions of people. There is only a few of us that's really, really, really who they say they are in Christ. I hope you're one, But I'm telling you that it is not the temptation. It is you. Where is your
heart? Where is your mind? Who have you chosen to serve? When your focus is Jesus? Your life is never the same. You don't think the same, you don't walk or talk the same, you don't even dress the same. And I know I've said it before, but I just want to reiterate it. You are not the same. Because you begin to be that new creature that God come. That's who you begaring to be that new creature. All old ways fall away. You don't have the desires and the
wants that you once had. Some people think, oh, I'm living my best life. No you're not. If you don't have Jesus, you are not living your best life. I don't care how much far and you think you're having. If you do not have Jesus, it is not your best life. It's not I know I was once there too. The difference is when some people, some people claim Jesus and claim to be living for the Lord. I never did that. Even though I got saved at the end to twelve, I never was that person, oh a holy roller, I
served the Lord, and I never done that. So when I got saved at twelve, you know, I lived the way my mom taught us, you know, in a good way. But I wasn't living saying, oh, I loved the Lord, the Lord is my God. And I just wasn't thinking like that. Even though I was raised in the church, I still didn't have that connection. I still didn't have that understanding only until I got older, much older. I've fallen into into temptation more than once,
more than twice, more than three times. I've fallen into temptation many times. When I was doing w I didn't even try to avoid it. I mean, I'm just keeping it real. I didn't even try to avoid temptation. I didn't think about it. I just did what I wanted to do. Never ever did I think about what I was doing. I just did it because I wanted to, because I was operating in the flesh, I was seeing in the flesh, and it was all about once and desires,
that self gratification, that lust. So I never ever want, not once did I think about avoiding temptation because I wanted it. Whatever it was, I wanted it so I pleased my flesh. But let me tell you, when I gave my life to God, and I truly repented for all of the best that I've done, the wrong that i'd done. Now, I never did anybody wrong in that sense, but I did some wrong things.
But let me tell you. When I gave my life to Christ, and I really truly got that relationship with him, never never, never, never, I didn't have no desire to look back. And let me tell you, I gave up everything. I gave up some things I didn't think I could give up because I loved it so much. I wanted it so much, and I never thought I could give it up, but I did, and I never chose to look back or go back. Never. I never missed the I never missed partying. I mean when I say never, I
never missed it. Now, some of you may say she's lying. I promise you on everything, I'm not lying. I never missed going out, clubbing, doing whatever I was doing. I never missed any of that. And every time, even today, when I think about HM, when I think about how God delivered me, oh, my goodness. When I think about how he kept me. I'm telling you, sometimes I just cut up. You hear me, I cut up. I totally totally cuts up because
sometimes I can't help myself when I think about where I came from. You just don't understand. When I think about where I come from, when I think about the things I used to do that I don't do no more the way I used to think that, I don't think no more. I'm telling you, I cry. I mean, I just lay out on the floor, thanking the Lord for delivering me, thanking the Lord for salvation, thanking God for his son Jesus, because the only way to God is his son.
Thanking God for the Holy Spirit and saving the wretched, filthy person like myself. I just, I mean, I just cry. I shed tears, but they're tears of joy because I know He's kept me. He's kept me from death. I know at least four times death. I could have been electrocuted, but instead of getting me, it put holes into scissors, electrocuted, I could have been shot. So many things that I've gone through that He's spared my life, you know, And I'm just thankful. I'm
grateful I'm just so in awe with Jesus. Oh, I thank God for grace and mercy. I mean, I truly, truly do. I'm not ashamed. I'm not ashamed at all. So I know when you become that new preacher, you don't worry about to you see it, and you also will be able to deny it. No, no, I mean no issues at all about it. You will be able to deny temptation. You will not even put yourself in a position or situation where you're tempted. You avoid that stuff, not that you're trying to run and hide, but it has
no pleasure for you any longer. You just don't seek after it because you don't have that desire anymore. You don't walk by your flesh, you're not led by your flesh. So you don't have no problem in denying temptation when something happens, because people are gonna try you. I'll have people to try me so many times and pay they finally see who I serve is real and I'm real about it because they've came back and told me. So, I know people can live a holy life, and that is what's required of us.
It's required we must live Holy you have so many people they talk it real well, Oh my goodness, they talk it so well. I mean they can really spew those good words that sweet like a honeycomb. They can spell them out real real well, real well. They've learned the jargon. They know how to speak it, and it's to a point that people believe it. Because see, people don't know how to understand the difference between emotions
and the anointing. People think because individuals say things really well, and they say things with a lot of emotions, people think that they're powerful and they're annointed in Christ when it has nothing to do with Christ. You're a hypocrite. He's not giving you his power or annoying you. You only activate that when you serve them. You're just not giving it out to any and everyone. You have to be of service to him then you're able to activate those
things. So many people are laid the wrong way, but they don't know it because they are not connected to Jesus. They're not reading the word for themselves. That that's going off of what man tells them. Many people have made their pastors their masters. I've said it many times. Your worship your pastors, when your eyes should be on God, not man. So many people are led as straight. But you know what is the individual's fault too.
It's the congregation's fault too, because they allow themselves to be led as strangth. You gotta get to know God Jesus, not just looking at man. Will man tell you something. You gotta know that. You know that, you know that it's the word of God, not just man talking. Some of you are under the leaderships of people who are making you pay for prayers. They're making you pay for prayers. Show me in the Word of God where they happen. They're not visiting the sick and shut in, but
they say they love you. They're living in mansions while you're struggling barely can make ends me. Some of you can't even make end me because you give everything to the church, but you get in nothing in return. Haven't you figured that out? Yet? You're serving man and not God. God say he will give you the desires of your heart. He is our father who
has all the richest houses in Man. Yet so many people still got their eyes on man and not God. So I'm just here to tell you on today, you gotta get your eyes on the prize the best prize, the best present that you can ever receive. That's Jesus. Romans ten and nine tells you how to be saved. But I've told you before that's like being birth the womb. That's just the beginning. Living the life is everything else.
And once you get to that point in life where you really love the Lord and you're serving the Lord, temptation will be nothing for you to face. I promise you that you won't put yourself in that situation. You won't let people come at you like that. You will check them and let them
know you're real about God's business and don't bring that foolishness to you. If they can't be around you and be respectful and treat you like the man or woman of God that you are, you don't need that person in your path. On your path. You know a lot of people try you because they want to see where you fall, where you falter, will you break? None of that works when you're standing on the world of God. What you will about our Father's business. So again I would say, it is not
the temptation, it is you. If you fall for it, it wasn't the temptation, it is you. It's what's inside of you. You need to be completely mind, body, and soul. You need to be completely cleaned up. And when you allow yourself to fall for temptation, you need to go back. You need to repent and turn it all over. See, some people want to give up a little bit here, want to give up a little bit there. But you want to hold on to some No, you gotta let it all go. All the hormone you you gotta let
it go. All the running around in and out of relationships, sleeping on, commitding, adultery, committing fornication. You gotta let it all go. Trying to satisfy your flesh, being greedy for money and all of that. You gotta let it all go. You have to get the mind and heart of Jesus. He has no respective person. It depends on you and what you want to get life. If you really want Jesus, then he's available. And remember, the only way to the Father is through the Son.
That's why I know Jesus is not God, because the Bible tells us Jesus is the mediator between us and God. So how can he be God? The only way to the Father is through the son Jesus. So you gotta get that connection with Jesus. You must because he is our mediator between us and the Father of God. So get your eyes on Jesus. When you do, when you have your eyes on the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, your life changes. I mean seriously, it changes.
You don't have to accept nothing wrong in your life, no sickness, people who try to make you do things that you know is wrong. You know when your eyes is on Christ. So I'm just trying to encourage you today. You can let it go when you let go. Let me say that, let me set that again. You can let it go when you've let go, so that temptation, it will not phase you in the least bit
none at all. When you let go and let God, you are not tempted by the things the devil try to throw in your face or the things you open yourself up to, because everything is not the devil. I hope and I pray you really think about what I'm saying. I don't care how fine he is, I don't care how pretty she is. I don't care what they have to offer, none of it, none of it. I
don't care what the world has to offer. You will not be tempted when you really serve the Lord and you love the Lord because your eyes is on the Father in the son and not on men. And I know one thousand percent it's possible. It is possible, but it only depends on who you serve and that connection you have. Because you can talk it all day You can have that lip service that the Bible talks about. You can do that all day long, profess them from your lips, but your heart is far
from them. It's gonna show in your lifestyle. If you're standing up before people telling them they got to pay you all this money for a prayer, Lord, have mercy. Some of you pray for deliverance when man can't even deliver you deliverance. It's from God, it's from Jesus. You cannot, as a man or a woman, deliver no one. You, as a man or a woman, cannot save no one. So some of you are even paying for deliverance. You just so fooled because you don't have that connection
with Jesus. So that's it. That's all I'm saying about that. I hope I said enough for you to get it. Thank you for listening.
