If you ever have to subject yourself to hurt, harm, or danger in the name of love, it's not love. If you have to break the law, it's not love. If you allow and accept any and everything in the name of love, it's not love. If you do things you don't want to do to stay with someone, it's not love. Do you get my point?! Some people have gone overboard, fell in, and drowned when they didn't have to. If you can't see beyond your wants, desires, feelings, lust, etc, you'll always find yourself in an unhealthy relationship. You will live your life repeating bad choices and decisions, because you're seeking what you lack within.
