Episode description

Have you ever seen someone's relationship status on social media that says, "It's complicated"? So, how does one uncomplicate things in their lives?

The more you know about the differences between the two types of "systems" and how they operate, your lives will become easier and less complicated as you exist in this fallen world.

Today's episode continues to build upon our understanding of systems. That is, God-created systems and man-made systems that are temporarily "owned" by Satan.

Fundamentally to our understanding of systems, know this:

  • All systems have "owners" and "operators".
  • Every system is either God-created or man-made.
  • All systems exist for the purpose of serving God or serving Satan.
  • We are ALL operators of systems that we participate in.
  • For every God-created system that exists, there is a man-made equivalent.

Knowing these fundamental truths will help you uncomplicate your life as operators.

The parable of the wheat and the tares in the gospel of Matthew is the perfect illustration. As you read this parable, consider the following take-aways:

  1. Jesus is distinguishing between two types of systems: God's Kingdom and the kingdom of darkness.
  2. God owns both systems. Satan temporarily "owns" by lease those that are man-made.
  3. Both systems are subjected to God's law of seed, time, and harvest and the law of sowing and reaping.
  4. Both systems have high-level operators: Jesus, the Holy Spirit, Satan and the anti-Christ.
  5. Both systems have mid-level and low-level operators.
  6. Both systems are sowing seeds in tandem.
  7. It is difficult to distinguish between the good seed (wheat) from the bad (tares). Our job is to become instruments of righteousness in Christ filled with joy and peace.
  8. The harvest will occur at the end of the age. The harvesters are the angels of God to gather up and burn the tares.
  9. The Son of Man will decide the fate of those guilty of lawlessness and those that are righteous inHim.

Life becomes less complicated when we understand the differences and influence of systems in our lives. With God's direction, detach and separate yourselves from the man-made systems of this world and surrender to God.
