Episode description

In this episode, broadcast live on January 25th, 2022 on YouTube, I host a friendly debate on how the Christian interacts with the state.

Timon Cline will be representing the idea of "Integralism", which would  imply that the government should reflect explicitly Christian values and  legislation, and Christians should seek to create that environment. Tom Hicks will be representing a flavor of Two Kingdoms Theology, which  implies that God has created a common kingdom and a redemptive kingdom, and though Jesus is king over both, the Christian will interact with  each sphere differently.

Debate format:

Opening Position statements - 15 minutes each

Rebuttals - 10 minutes each

Dialogue - 30-45 minutes

Audience questions until 2 hour mark.
