Episode description

On this episode we talk to recently retired Premier League referee Lee Probert.  Lee first refereed a Premier League game in 2006 before becoming a full time professional referee in 2007.  A successful career in the top flight followed as he racked up 181 games in charge, 24th in the all-time list.  He was FIFA Listed in 2010 for six years and during this time he officiated on one of the more memorable FA Cup Final's of recent times, Arsenal's comeback victory over Hull City in 2014.  The last few years of his refereeing career were plagued with injuries which ultimately lead to his retirement before the 2019-20 season.  We speak to Lee about how he became a referee, his journey to the Premier League and some of the major highlights of his career.
