Rebecca
Hi, it’s Bec.

Natalie
And Nat — two very different sisters who come together each week to reframe problems big and small with you, our dear reframeables.

Rebecca
And why are we calling you such a term of endearment?

Natalie
Because we are all in the process of reframing and being reframed.

Rebecca
And you’re dear to us.

Natalie
Exactly.

Rebecca
So we’re letting you know today that we’re taking a break.

Natalie
We are coming up on our podcast anniversary — one whole year. Woo!

Rebecca
Woo! And we thought it was a moment for us to pause, reflect, breathe, lie in the sun.

Natalie
Celebrate with many a glass of rosé.

Rebecca
But we wouldn’t be Nat and Bec if we didn’t leave you with a big question to ponder. Also, The School of Life London sent us some Know Yourself cards for self-exploration. So here’s the one I pulled out of the deck this morning: “When do you cry, or want to cry, as an adult?”

Natalie
Rebecca, that’s totally the first question you ever asked Clifford when you first met him.

Rebecca
Yes, it’s perfect for me.

Natalie
Welcome to the family, Reframeables. Ok, here’s mine: “Name three works of art, music, literature, visual art, or architecture that mean a lot to you.”

Rebecca
That’s perfect for you, Nat.

Natalie
I know, it’s like the deck knew us. The purpose of these cards is to learn a little more about yourself, so there’s no need to share the answers with anyone — of course, unless you feel inspired to.

Rebecca
And I actually just read that the way to make new friends in your adult years is to ask big questions. So check.

Natalie
We, on the other hand, will do much more of that vulnerability thing that we do here on Reframeables and attempt to answer those questions (and more, actually) about personal growth when we return next week.

Rebecca
So, thanks for being here with us for a year. Cheers to more years of socially conscious self-help conversations between us and people we admire.

Natalie
And cheers to a whole lot more reframing.
