RedPubPod #006 Dr. Ric Vandett

Memoir author Dr. Ric Vandett is interviewed by the RedPubPod crew on his first book, "Hurdles - Surviving Difficult Times" published by Redhawk Publications. Ric's journey from War Veteran, DJ, Educator to Author is just that... a journey! And along his journey, the lessons he learned have taught him life lessons. Through his memoir, he teaches others how to overcome life's Hurdles!

In addition to writing, Ric is a community advocate who graciously gives of his time, talent and treasure. Partial proceeds for the sale of his book go to two non-profits that help the Catawba Valley area of Western North Carolina. His veteran outreach volunteerism what the impetus of an upcoming workshop that focuses on the challenges our veterans face and the resources to assist them on their journeys.
