Episode description

It's been a year since I deleted all of my social media accounts. Here are 9 lessons I've learned since leaving the platforms:

  1. I should have done this sooner
  2. Convenience is a vice, not a valid excuse.
  3. When you limit options for procrastination, you procrastinate less.
  4. When you tune out you’re not missing out, you’re gaining perspective.
  5. Leisure with other people is harder but more fulfilling.
  6. Boredom is the space where creativity happens. But nowadays boredom must be fought for.
  7. Massive results come from massive change, not tiny tweaks.
  8. Business growth is fueled by extreme focus.
  9. You can’t effectively steward your life with a divided focus.
