The chronological New Testament. John and the panel discuss how the New Testament and Christianity evolved during its first century through the lens of Evolution of the Word by Marcus Borg. This episode we introduce the concept of studying the NT in the order the books were written, look through Borg's timeline, and discuss the first five books: I Thessalonians, Galatians, I Corinthians, Philemon and Philippians.
