Matt Hampton is a strong man. Earlier this year, he was looking to break the Australian bench press record.
He is also a personal trainer and coach, and has some unique insight into performance enhancing drugs, body building and nutrition.
Matt was well on track, as he surpassed 220kg, the record is 242.5kg.
He was training and pushing to reach the goal, when a debilitating injury during a bench press saw him not only tear his pectoral muscle from the bone, but also ripped it in half.
