We're on a job-seeking tour of the only game left in Hollywood: Streaming services! The Rock laid the smackdown on us last week, so now it's time to turn our attention to a series that desperately needs it: INDEPENDENCE DAY!  "Independence Day" was one of the biggest sci-fi blockbusters of the 90s. The film was the perfect blend of B-Movie tropes with modern-day special effects, with a sprinkling of Hollywood's biggest A-List stars (at the time, at least) in the form of Will Smith, Jeff Goldblum, Bill Pullman, Vivica A. Fox and the immortal Judd Hirsch. In 2016, a too-little-too-late-too-Smithless sequel arrived with "Independence Day: Resurgence" and killed any interest the public may have had in the series. Now the Reboot Crew is tasked with revitalizing ID4 for a new generation. Will we bring the franchise back to prominence or will it all come crashing down to Earth?!
