Episode description

Guest, David J. Scranton, CEO, and founder of “Sound Income Strategies” talks with Rebecca about his book “The Retirement Income Stor-E: The Story behind The Launch of The Retirement Income Store!” David is a nationally renowned Money Manager, CEO, and founder of “Sound Income Strategies, LLC,”  “Advisors’ Academy,” and “Scranton Financial Group.” He hosts “The Income Generation” on “NewsMaxTV” and is one of the nation’s most successful and respected independent financial advisors; his knowledge of stock market history enabled him to foresee the 2000 stock market collapse and the onset of a new 20-plus year secular bear market cycle.

On the show, Rebecca points out specific points she read in the book that is of surprising significance to many. In fact, it shifts the perspective of how money has been traditionally viewed. The two talk about the costs involved in retirement that is not accounted for. Rebecca was even surprised by her own hobbies and lifestyle that was not accounted for during her working years but was able to be addressed through the information provided by David's expertise. The information will give a layperson a simple way to understand where not to put their money. Often, finances are convoluted so much that it breeds fear so strong people are afraid to learn about what to do with their money. By removing the fear and even educating financial advisors in understanding there is a “better way to go” lives can change dramatically!
