We're back, baby, And you don't know like this is season three are Reasonably Shady.
It is is our third Yeah, this is technically our third season season Okay, yeah, because yeah, yeah, it's not like full years, but just based on you know how in the podcast world. She's in Baltimore. Okay,
have you got her before? No? I haven't, um, but I'm sure my people know her. People you know, yeah, we people know yeah, yeah, yeah yeah. But I'm totally looking forward. Get your tickets at black Effect dot com, black Effect dot com and see us there. Do you know what I mean? People are like, oh my gosh, do you have a ticket for me? Oh my god, probably have one extra ticket. But anyway, I want all of y'all to come through. Okay, So I do want
to talk about um Keikee Palmer. Can we talking about reasonably? Oh no, I forgot girl. Listen, I have a reasonably shady mama up the way long you've been doing this third season? Right? Okay, let me tell you something I will never forget. I think I think it was like season four of like potoa yea, and I was supposed to like walk into like a restaurant or something, and um, I saw the cameras like ready for me to like walk into the restaurant. I walked in the wrong door,
and it like threw everything off. I had to go do it again right because the door that I walked in there was no cameras there. So I was getting screamed at by the producers and they were like, say, said four yourself right together, like so funny. So if I was like whoop sees anyway, it was so funny.
I think about season one, Yeah, like how many times we would like walk the wrong way or you know what I mean, Like we really weren't aware of like where the cameras were with respect to like how we should enter an exit around a scene or you know what I mean. And so now it's like and then I would get screamed at, stopped walking in front of
the camera, just out okay, geez, calmed down. Um anyway, So my reasonably shady moment, which I'm this is going to be both of our moments good I didn't have one. Oh I guess I do sincere telling. Yes, Okay, So Rob and I and a couple other of our friends went out for dinner. Yeah, a couple of weeks ago. So of course we were all supposed to meet at
seven o'clock and Jess gets there at seven o'clock. The reservation was for seven o'clock that Robin Dixon made m okay, yep, I should have made it later, well, or you should have told yourself it was at six thirty. No. Like, when I was driving there, I was like, I should have made it later because you know traffic. It was a Friday, yes, okay, and it was raining and it was raining, yes, yes, I should have been just problematic.
So at about like six fifty nine, Mia enters the chat and says, I'm not gonna be there until seven thirty guys, and Robin's like, oh great, me too. Sharese's like Adam, not no, Sarisa and responds and Ash She was like, oh me too. So okay, three of the five have said they're gonna get there thirty minutes after the time. Giselle's actually already there, okay. So I was like, I hate these bitches. I hate these bitches. Did you really think that was not going to happen? I thought
you were gonna be late. I thought as she was gonna be on time. I thought Sharie was gonna be on time. Charesa's typically on time. Sharise. I text Shari separate from the group. Okay, I say, girl, where you at? She was like, oh, this is at seven twenty okay, because I did have things to do. I had to talk to check in with my kids all that. I had some things to do. So I'm sitting over on the side handling my business. This is actually not my shady part. Y'all are not my shady A moment of
the week. Okay. I get to the front desk, me, Giselle, you're in the DC area, I mean, season seven, we're a little well known. Okay. However, I get to the desk of this restaurant which we're not going to say because we kind of didn't really get love out of this restaurant, and the lady looks at me, dead in my face, and she was like hi, And I said him, I'm here. There's a reservation under the name Robin Dixon. She's like, who what name? I'm like, Robbin Dick. You
see who I am? And I say, Robbin Dixon, you shady bower. So she looks at me like she has no idea who I am? Like I just I don't know. It was three. It was three women. Yeah, y'all all know who I am. But if y'all didn't, at least one of y'all did, and you whisper to the other one. Okay, So I'm like, I ain't really gonna act like they don't know that Robin Dixon, the Robin Dickon has made a reservation. So she says, well, your party's not here, so I can't seat you. Now, I hate that in
a restaurant, seat me, damn it. And I'm gonna get to the table. I'm gonna order a bunch of foods. So when y'all get there, the foods there, right, Okay, moving on the shady moment. I'm not done yet. So all of a sudden, Robin pops up before these other people, thank god. Then Ashley pops in and she's looking like she's going to the Oscars or something. She has this dress, she had just got new titties. Their titties are popping out of her dress. She's got fur hanging off of
her dress with this long trench coat. She looks beautiful, absolutely hair done to the nie. She looks totally beautiful. And then Charice pops up, and then Mia was last, Um, yeah, so y'all are shady for coming forty five minutes late. I was thirty, So let me go back to the desk. And they're like, well, you know, we might have to give up your tab all because all of your people weren't here yet. I almost wanted to cuss this entire restaurant out. First of all, you wouldn't have had to
have this conversation because I us here at seven. Just freaking seat me. What difference does it make? You're gonna get your money, right? Okay, So the entire restaurant was like coming up, not the entire restaurant, but like several people were coming up trying to take pictures whatever the restaurant. Everybody who worked at the restaurant was like, oh wow, who are these people? Because we don't know why would anybody want to come up and take a picture with
these ladies. It was so freaking strange. And guess what, we're not going back, And if y'all know where we went, put it in the chat and tell the people we're not going back. And let's just talk about the food. The food was just okay, okay, moving on, So I don't know who's shady here, my friends or the food or the staff. I don't know everybody, or maybe you for complaining, like just relax. I'm like, I walk in and she's like, I mean they're all saying this, and
I'm like, yo, chill, No, I was not chilling. Are you in a rush? Yeah? We're good. Yeah, just gonna sit and eat it. I just like to I don't know, be treated us a little. Yes, yes, yes, it's the verg and of course the Arias. And you was like, oh it's fine. Yes, I'm like, it's all right, we'll survive. I mean, Robin's walking in like she had like four edibles, like oh, everything's fine. But it was fine. Everything was fine. We survived. We just survived. Okay. Anyway, moving on, I
want to talk about Keki Palmer. Okay, what you do. Keiki Palmer recently had a baby boy. Congratulations Keith. Kei um with her boo. I don't know who a boo is. Um, And you know she's my fellow virgirl sister. We love Kiki. She you know, came up through these Hollywood streets. Um a child actress. Blah blah blah. Do you remember Aquila in the beach. Yes, of course, yes, she's a Kiki
is so talented, talented, beyond talented. So she got on her Instagram and she because you know, she has a new born at her house, so we already know she tired. She got her Instagram did you see this? And she was like crying because she wanted to give a shout out to any woman who has had to do this by yourself, all my single ladies that have had to raise these children by yourself. Oh my god, y'all are amazing. She was like, and I have hard to help in
the world. So I already know y'all. How do y'all do it? How do y'all do it? If you are a single parent? Pull out your cape a matter of fact, clip off your angel wings, because I don't know how did you did it? And I just want anybody out there that as a single parent that's been doing this, friends of mine, people that I don't know, family members of mine. I'm really in mine, in my heart, bring tears to my eyes. I am just truly profoundly impressed.
I was like Kiki's going through I wanted to give her a hug. I wanted to come babies at the baby right for her so she could take a nap, right Listen. I know exactly how she was feeling, yes, because I'm it is crazy, like I can just remember, you know, when the babies were infant, and I'm like, I don't know how there's so many humans in this world, right, like like who is this rough? Who chooses to do
this like over and over over and over again? Yeah, it's rough, and you have people who have, like, you know, three, four, five, six kids. I think I think infant to six months just war. Oh my gosh, it's straight war. And the war you're you're in a battle with a little baby. Yes, they can't talk. Their only form of communication is to cry. And then when they're not crying, they're sucking on your nipple. It's like, oh yeah, it is a it is a struggle, Kiki.
When I saw that Instagram post you posted, I was right there with you. I feel for her, y U. And it was funny. It was it was she didn't think it was funny because she was like crying and everything through it. She's going throw it, But it is so funny. But you know, there is something to be said about women who do it do it by themselves. Um, because it's tough. It's not an easy road. And and even listen, even when you do have somebody helping you,
they ain't helping you sometimes. So shout out to the dudes that are there really doing the work, because it is not a game raising these children. Goodness, And I will never forget. Somebody told me, like with the twins, at six months, I was gonna start to like see light at the end of the tunnel. And it was instant. Six months I started to see a little light. And then I got divorced, and that the light. Okay, that
light black real quick. Oh my gosh. Okay, speaking of like these little not little, but these younger this younger generation has taken over Zendaya. Have we talked about her? No? Okay, so she's really apparently this is Holly Hollywood news. She's read doing her contract for you for you, Yes, and supposely she's going to be getting paid a million dollars yes, purpose per episode. Yes, it's And some people had an issue with that. I don't have no issue with that.
Why would anyone have an issue with that? Like, why if that's what she deserves, then that's what she needs to get Yeah. Well, and then when they had an issue when the Friends cast got a million dollars, six of them got a million dollars. How was the sixth sell? Eight of them? Eight of them? I'll be there for
you eight. Yeah, anyway, they got a million dollars an episode, right, seven of them so many years ago, right, like, and so I've never watched you for you, So I can't really speak to how valuable she is to the show, but clearly she knows her worth and I want her to get it. Yeah, should we renegotiate our contracts throughout a million dollars? Clearly Robin and I are nowhere. But um, it is work, it's hard work. And and she's young. She I mean, she's been in this game for a minute.
She was like a Disney girl. I remember when she like first started because my kids were like totally in love with her. That could they you know, sing Zendaya on TV For them was like they were able to see someone who looks like them TV and it was like amazing to them. Um, yes, oh, and they are bigger for your girls. By the way, my kids, I've never never seen an episode gets your Money's day deserve it, and she is always looking beautiful on the red carpet, whenever,
wherever she goes, she looks amazing. Yeah yeah, yeah yeah. And it's like never like over there, it's never like too much no, or like not enough, like you need to put some more clothes on. No. No, I feel like she's always appropriately dressed. It's not like she's not trying too hard. She's very simply stated, like she's beautiful and from what I understand, and all the designers are like vying for her, like they're all trying to get she's like that. That slim. I assume she's tall. She
looks tall. That's slim figure. Yes, they like Have you seen Abbott Elementary? Have we talked about above? I have watched a number of episodes. Yeah, I'm not though. I think it's hilarious. It's it's hilarious. Yeah, it is funny. I love it. Yes, Okay, So the star of it Quinta uh Bronson Brunson. Is that right? Am I saying it right? Quinta Quinta qui nta? I don't want to say maybe Quina Quinta Quinta. Hi, I'm Quinta Brunson. And
these are my ten essentials. She's amazing because from what I understand she writes, she writes it all produce directs everything. I might be making that part out, but anyway, she says she's not good. All of her awards she's not gonna put in her house. Oh yeah, because she thinks that that's tacky, crass, cringe, cringey, yeah, over the top. Yeah. Let me tell y'all something. Give me an award. I'm putting it on my forehead. Okay, all right, I am
carrying the award around, right. I don't know what she's talking about, right, what is she talking about? Maybe? Okay, does she mean like she's not gonna put all of them up? She'll just put like I don't know what she means, but I'm putting all of them up. I mean I wouldn't, Okay. I think they have won a lot actually over the past few years. Okay, right, they've won Emmy's Golden Globes. They've won a lot. Okay, And so maybe we need to read we need to find
her actual statement. Maybe she meant she's not putting all of them up, because I didn't say that. She says she's not putting any up. She says, she's not I think I think I have it. I think I have her quote. She says she's not putting it up um because she thinks it's TACKI or something, or she thinks it's not necessary or listen, it doesn't even matter robing. If I get a golden globe, oscar Grammy anything with with the statue, yes, where is it going and on
your forehead? Let's go that the going in my first okay, because I get carried around. I would sure everybody because and this is this was my my immediate thought. You worked for that, right, you know you're being celebrated for the work that you have done. Be proud of it, like show that shit. I mean I would, I would think, okay, all right, I wouldn't put it like in my family room, right, I would put it in my office. Okay. So she says she's very particular about where she plans to keep
her trophies. Okay. She says she's gonna put them in her office at Warner Brothers. Is that is that a secret flex? I mean quiet flex. I'm gonna put them in my office at Warner Brothers. That's a quiet flex. I'm here I'm here for it. Um, she's just recently signed an overall deal there, so she has an office there and she's gonna feel with her trophies. Now she's single. I wonder if she's single? Um, that under Okay, So if she's single, like, because I'm thinking me, I'm a
single woman, and like, let's say I bring a dude home. Yeah, I need I'm gonna put him like, No, she's actually married. Oh she's married. Okay, now, yes, this is even better. You're married. You want to show you want to show your husband, Yes, what you have accomplished. You need to like build a shelf right on top the bed and put him right there. Every time he goes to sleep. Okay, he sees him. When he wakes up, he sees them. When y'all doing the dude, he sees them, so he
is clap. Okay, Okay, that might be a recipe for divorce. You know what, These men don't they can't handle it. They can handle all that. Okay, that's just my opinion. Okay, But again, like if you get celebrated, celebrate, but for sure. Yeah, yeah, but I guess she's I guess now as we read more into it, she just wants to she wants to be a little more selective. But where she puts or do you think her husband said, Um, I don't know here,
I don't need all of that in the house. Could be I mean, I'm sorry, Like Wan, you know when he was he has a bunch of trophies from his um college days. He's just you know, the player of the year here, there, everywhere. No that all your stuff will go in your man space, Like is that where it is? That's where it's been. Yeah, well right now
we haven't. We haven't set his space up here. But like in our first home, yeah, we had just a room where they play video games, and it was it was like it wasn't even our it was it wasn't even in a main space, like all of his accolades and stuff were in like a room designated for like the guys. Okay, you know what I mean. So, okay, all right, I think women we should celebrate ourselves more because I feel like we have less of it. I
don't get honored as much. Yes, yeah, yes, so put yours on your forehead too, rob Okay, Okay, So a couple of weeks ago, we talked about California and like five hundred thousand people moving out of California. Yeah, so one of our listeners, miss Amber, she demmed me and said that she lives in southern Oregon and that's for all these California people. Yes, because they're buying land and growing marijuana. Oh, she said she thought we would get a good laugh out of that. Yes, yeah, it hilarious.
I don't think five hundred thousand people are going, but still, okay, that makes sense. Yes, But okay, Oregon must be what kind of like is is that like Montana? Um? Maybe? I mean so well played basketball for the Portland Trailblazers, which was in Oregon. Okay, okay, you lived out there. Yeah, so so where Portland is that's a little more of a you know, city life, but it's still most of Oregon is you know, mountainous, and you know, the mountains on one side. You've got the the ocean or the
coast on the other side. Oh nice. Yeah, so it's very pretty, very pretty. Okay. Oh yeah, it was like the earthiest place I'd ever been. I thought I was on another planet. What's earthy mean? Like? Um? I think I said this were like the homeless people were very clean what like, and they had bike land, Like I could literally have taken a bike lane from downtown Portland all the way out to the suburbs without having to like detour from the bike lane, do you know what
I'm saying? Like the bike yeah everywhere and all the But and this was like the first of this was like in two thousand and five, So this is like the first time I had actually seen like a bus that had a bike rack on it. Oh that's yes, but they do have some of those here, right, but they're like late with it here. So I'm just saying, like years ago, Portland was already like very earthy and oh first time Portland. First time I saw a dog
allowed in a restaurant? That's gross. Yeah, like out there dog people don't come from me, but I just want to eat with humans. Yes, yes, that was the first time I saw that. Um, it was just so many things that like they were like the first time I had ever seen like a lot of stuff like And then but the weather is jacked up, right, It's it rains from like I would say, the fall, like the late fall, until like the like late spring, and then it's like beautiful, so it rains most of the year
and the Yeah, it literally like rain. I remember it was like thirty days straight it rained. Oh my god, that's depression. Yeah, there's the suicide rate is pretty high out there, oh, like in Portland and um Oregon and Washington State. Okay, but right now as a whole lot of weed. So if you want to get, if you want to partake, that's where you should go out. Um okay. So Alex, one of our nice listeners, asked us robbing, and I'm asking you, okay, because this is your department,
not just else. Okay, when are you guys restocking? She's from another country. Restock your jumpers. Jumpers I had to find out was another word for like sweatshirts, sweatshirts, hoodies, whatever. Yes, yes, we are low on stock. You know what. Oh, I gotta put the blue ones up. I haven't put those up yet. Yes, the blue ones are really cute. So guys, y'all don't know it because we've been low in stock. But we have merch ladies and gentlemen. We have merch
right reasonably shady dot com. We have well typically we have sweatshirts, T shirts, we have paddles, souvenir paddles. We have mugs. Drink your coffee, Sip your tea, yes, which your reasonably shady chocolate hats visit the site. But I will be gosh, I feel like I'll be honest, y'all. I'm the one that does all the Yes, she does all the orders and stuff. Sometimes I'd just be like, Okay, I don't feel like doing that, terrible Carly. I mean it's in my house. I'd rather just get it done. Okay.
So yes, So if I restocked all the hoodies and stuff, that means I gotta ship them out. Yes, Robbin, Yes, so it is how we yes in the world. Robin's getting fired from this department, but I don't know who's going to replace them because it ain't me. But anyway, we're working on it, y'all. Just let y'all know the jumpers will be available soon. Yes, yes, um. Okay, So somebody asked, because we did ask y'all to ask us anything, um, and this was from Lisa l y SSA Is that
Lisa L? That sounds like Lisa Listen anyway, Thank you for you know deeming us. You said you both have incredible flawless skin. What does your skincare. What skincare do you use? Yes? And do you have regular facials? I definitely have regular facials. I know Robin does too. Yeah, what do you use? Because we haven't talked about this in a while, so you know it. It's funny. I'm the type that like, I will use a line, um like the whole system in whatever line because I believe
in law you like a system. Yeah, okay, I hate systems really, and then I will um. I feel like your skin needs something new every now and then. So I actually so so. I was just using jam Marini products Jan Marini. Kay, They're really amazing. I was just using them. I like them, but I think at some point your skin like gets used to it. Huh you switch it up, Yeah, you gotta switch it up. So now I'm using Maya chia m A y m A
y aia c hia um products. I'm using Align you know their products, which I'm almost embarrassed to say this. I learned about this line because somehow, and I don't even have a TikTok account, but I guess you can, like you learned if I'm TikTok. I think you can, like, look at TikTok or whatever. Somehow I got on. I went down the rabbit hole of Bethany Frankel's TikTok oh wow,
because she would do she she critiques stuff. Yes, yeah, so she critiqued so much of makeup and clothes and perfumes, skincare so whatever, this food, food, yeah, everything, so the skincare so I don't know. She she raved about this skincare line, like raved about it. So that's how it ended up trying ying this new product line. I actually just literally started using it yesterday, so I can't speak to it. Um. I mean, so you just use it
so far. But I just think in general, it's very important for you to have um, like a vitamin C serum. You know, it's it's it's it's important for you to use whatever line you're going to use. You need certain things. Vitamin C is important, retin all is important, you know, hydration and moist moisturizing your your skin is important. It's also important to like use stuff, yes, drink water, you stuff that's appropriate for your skin type. Yeah, whether you
have oily skin or dry skin or whatever. But definitely as you age, retinal vitamin C um and there's like other stuff as well. Yeah, so I use skin Better. Yeah, I've been using skin Better for a while. There's no bells and whistles with it, yeah, meaning like it doesn't have a great smell, it doesn't feel like uber great on your face, but it does work and I'm happy with it. And any like dermatological office that I go into, they're all using skin Um. So I do love that.
And one of my girlfriends I was talking to, she's a flight attendant. This might be a hack, okay, or something that she does. So she said that there is way more radiation in the air than if we were just to get an X ray like in the on the planes. In the air, just like just walking around daily life. No, in the air, like when you're up in the sky. Oh okay, there's radiation up there. Oh okay, I guess because you know all of the satellites and
satellites and planes and blah blah blah. Okay. So she wears SPF, like a high grade SPF on her face too, so that her face will be protected from all this radiation while she's flying. Yeah. So she's like, it's important to wear SPFI while you're flying. Yeah, but like the SPF that have that has all those like you know, broad spectrum right UVA, all the auv all types. I never thought I never correlated to. Now she could have made all of this shit up. It might be like
a theory. She just this is like her theory, but she slathers it one. You know. She's a fight attendant, so she's always up in the sky. Okay, that's interesting. Yeah, I mean I would think you're on the air. I don't know. That's interesting. That's an interesting thought. If anybody has any makes insights on that, please let us know. Um I might talk about Debily a little bit. Can we talk about so I've actually met Debily. Debile used to be the CEO of b et y Network. She
was there I think twenty some years. It's very well known that her and Bob Johnson. Bob Johnson is the founder, creator or whatever of b ET a billionaire. He likes to let everybody know he's a billionaire. UM and and her had an affair. They were both married to separate people. They started dating. She somehow worked herself up the ranks
of BET. She is saying now that that relationship kind of held her in like a chokehold, so to speak, because she would like say, like I want to break up with you, and he's like, well, if you break up, you gotta leave, right, And she's like, well, hell no, I didn't worked hard to be where I am, right, So is this me too, because this is this is clearly no because it sounds like she chose to be
in that relationship. Oh she said, yeah, they were both having an affair right right, okay with each other, and she chose to be in that relationship. But but I think that's you know, maybe she didn't know for sure. I don't know that he verbally said, well that's what she said. He's said she said he's at that or is that just like was that like a fear that she had, like she said he didn't break here, yeah, yeah, out of here at home? Okay, he didn't say that
the whole part. I'm throwing that in right, um. But but let's be clear, I think you know, she was in her position for a very long time, so she was obviously doing a good job, right, So I don't want to take away from her work ethic and just like her as person. So it's like she didn't want to be in the relationship anymore. But I guess he'd done it too, right. Yeah, It's like I would think, you know, at some point, it's like if if the two of them decide, okay, well this isn't working out.
I don't see why the working relationship can't continue unless it's like the working relationship was so tight because you know, she was pretty much second in command, right I think so, or you know, up under him somehow, Like then maybe it just would be awkward and hard to work together, right, So I don't know. But then he leaves the company, Yeah, and I guess he retires or whatever. And that's actually when she became CEO, and she was able to live
her dreams, right, live her best life. So I wonder, Okay, so timing, So when he sold the company or left the company, were they still dating and then they ended their relationship? And that's a good question. I don't know. Yeah, I don't know. Probably I don't know, Or maybe he moved on. Yeah, maybe he eventually moved up broke it off. She probably just felt like she could not younger people. She probably felt like in the relationship on him married too.
Now she could be forty years younger than oh really yes, Oh wow the girl before that same thing. Oh, the girlfriend before that same thing. But I mean you know that's fine. They're all of age. Yeah, yeah, that's It reminds me of what Chris Rock. Chris Rock was talking about dating younger women. Huh, I don't know. You still haven't watched it, so I'll let you watch it. No,
but just tell me. And it was funny. It was like the difference between dating a younger woman and an older woman is like a younger woman is like simple, she knows she's twenty something. She's like, oh, can you buy me these shoes? I'll send you to link. I's like, yeah, sure, that's easy. An older woman is like, UM, I need to fix my roof. Can you pay? Can you? Yes? Can you pay for my roof? I need to roof? Yes? So I died about that. That's funny because it is
funny because as you get older, your priorities change. Yes, things that you have to take care of change, right. And I used to like, um, I don't want to say this, but yeah in my mind, and you could you could probably understand this. Like dating you, I don't know how you and want to like buy each other gifts or whatever, but like I would have to return so many gifts because I don't want this. I'm not gonna wear this. This looks like crap. Or I want
a different size, I want a different trailer. Just give me the money. Just give me a damn money. Okay, you know, put me through too many changes because then and then they get upset when you don't like it. Do they really? Yeah, they take a little personal like wait a minute, like you it's like I give up. Yeah, well no, why she never get no no, But it's
I mean, it's part of the conversation. Yes, but if you have to like go through all of the jumps in the hoops to return and all that, it's just like, well, how much Sisters costs two thousands? Just give me the money. Cash at me right. Chris Rock was like, She's like, I have here's my vemo. Yes, Venmo, yes, Ben Mom. Yes, we want a new roof. What else do we want? Um? We want a new water heat up right, exactly exactly? We want like new landscaping something. Yes, speaking of landscaping,
these dear keep knocking over my lights. I see them, I see you, I see you, dear, would you get a rifle and shoot it. No, okay, I don't believe in that. Okay. So we have a new segment, just kidding, it's not new, it's our same segment. Is it reasonable or is it shady? Shady? Oh my gosh. Okay, So we got a lot of submissions. Um, all right, so we're gonna hear some quick hitters. All right, Okay, this
is from our girl, Shamarian um Hmarion said. She said, is it reasonable or shady to read a person's DM when they ask you a question but never reply? So you know how people can see that you've seen their message? Oh really, I didn't know that. You didn't know that. So if someone DMS you, well, okay, if you there's like you know, in your Instagram, there's a messages that you accept and then there's the messages that you haven't accepted.
So the ones that you haven't accepted, they don't know that you've read them, okay, But the ones that are like already you know you've accepted or whatever. For whatever reason, if someone DMS you, it will say that it was seen. Oh okay, So is it reasonable or shady to read the message and not reply? No, that's that's a Tuesday. That's what we do. That's right. We look at it and keep it pushing. And it actually depends on a how many messages you receive on a regular um. If
you like this person, um, is this a DM? Because you trying to holler? It's like what kind of DM? Is this? Right? Right? It? Yeah, it definitely depends on their messages. I feel like it depends on For me, it's and it goes the same thing with like text messages. It's like it depends on what I'm doing at the moment. Yeah, do you know what I'm saying. So it's like you might I might not be in a mood or a place to reply to a message, so you almost it's like I almost don't want to read a message until
I know I can sit down and reply. Oh okay, do you know what I mean? Yeah? But you know, But so you just will read a message and just on Instagram yeh, keep it pushing, Okay, Yeah, I mean if I are you looking for an answer? If someone sends a very if they if they send a message and I know that they see that I've read it, I will reply and be like okay, thanks or something. Do you know this person. No, I mean, it just depends.
It's just a random It depends, It depends. Okay. Yeah, this goes back to Robin always like starts an email with Hi, how are you? Yes? How is your day? Yes? I hope everything is lovely in your world? Yes? Yes, I delete? Really yes, okay, no, see I'm I'm I am a little nicer, Yeah, you're cterally yes, sad, yes, literally, shady? I'm reasonable? Um, is it reasonable or shady to send your daughter's grandmother an invitation to the baby's party? But say, ps,
don't tell your son? Now, that's amazing. Okay, that's not reasonable, shady, that is amazing. And how she even imprefaced it. Your daughter's grandmother, right, so that's not so we understand, not your mother in law, not your mother in law, and not your mother, right right? Okay, so hell yeah, don't tell us that. It's very reasonable. Yeah, he's gonna come in smelling like weed because he is the door dash driver the last episode and he's messed up all the
Robin's groceries and he don't know how to ask exactly. Yes, yes, I think that is very reasonable if the situation is not good, if it's toxic if they're not getting along whatever. It's very reasonable. Now, now is the grandma gonna tell him? Right? Then that's the shady party. So then so it's so okay. So the shady part is you're putting the grandma in a position where she has to like keep something from
her son. So say she keeps it from her son and she goes to the party, and then the sun finds out and he finds out the MoMA, his mama was there, and then he's like, oh my gosh, I can't believe you didn't tell me. You went to my child's birthday party and didn't tell me. But she runs the if the grandma tells If I'm grandma, yeah, I would just be like, oh, I just thought you knew that you would say that. But if I'm grandma and the father ends up there, you run the risk with
the mother. I'm not ever being invited to another birthday party again, right? Very true? Yes, Yeah, So if I'm grandma, I'm gonna keep my mouth shut. I'm gonna go because I love my little granddaughter. Yeah, but I'm and if my son finds out that I was there, I'm going to play dumb and be like, I thought you knew. Why would I you know? Right? Why what I knew that you weren't invited? So this is shady, but this is really good shade. Yeah, hilarious shade. Yeah, yes, yes,
do not invite him, yes, all right. And he ain't even contribute to the party. Clearly he's not right if we don't even know about it, So you can't even be invited. Yeah, no, no, he's out of there, all right. It's a reason for a shady to cut your friends off for not telling you happy birthday. Um, I think it depends on the level of friendship. Okay, So okay, I have a girlfriend, and yes, a depends on level of friendship. It's not it can be shady. So I
have a girlfriend and it was her birthday. Yeah, and I forgot. Now there's a reason why I forgot because A I'm not good with that. B. I was moving. I've moved either the day before or the day of her birthday, and um, I just forgot. Yeah I'm human. So she like like a week later, she's mad at me for like a week. She tells cow she hits me up, and she says, I was like, oh lord, and I told her. I was like, I'm sorry, whatever I think I cow told me like, you missed her birthday.
She says to me like, I never missed your birthday. I bought you blah blah blah on your birthday. Okay, So if anyone ever says something like that to me, I will box up the shit you bought me and send it straight back to you, which is what I did. Oh my god, because I'm petty Paul. I'm petty patty, petty Paul, petty Priscilla, those petty people. So I boxed it up. She gave me a ball main shirt. I
boxed it up. I said a back tour, and I was like, you know, obviously you didn't give me this gift and with good intentions, because you're throwing it back in my face, so you can have it. Oh my god. M We have since made up. I'm gonna saying, are your friends anymore? Yes, we made up and everything's fine.
But it was just like understand that, like, yo, I'm human and I was moving that way right yes, sorry not sorry, yeah, okay, sorry, Yeah, It's funny because I like, I have a friend that is very um kind of like that, like, oh my God, you didn't say that, you didn't do this, you didn't do this. But then I'm like, actually, she's not like that, because then I'm like, I don't know if I've ever heard from you on my birthday, but you worried about right, yeah? And I'm like, yeah,
so I know. It's it's the question, is a reasonal shady to cut your friends off for not telling you happy birthday? Yes? Yes, it's shady. Yes, it's very shady. It's very shady. Um. Some friends are like really into birthdays and that's really important, and other people maybe aren't, you know, And it's like if they forget your birthday, it's not like you can't take it personal. You just gotta say, okay, that person was probably busy. Now if
it's like if that friend okay. And this is why I for the most part don't really like post like happy birthday post to my friends. And you know, you know, for a lot of people, because I'm like, I don't want to unintentionally leaves like forget to post somebody and then they think they take it personal, right, do you know what I'm saying? Right, But it depends on who, Like, if one forget your birthday, that's a problem if well, I don't forget your birthday because I just I'm more
excited about your birthday than you are. But like, if people forget my birth people have lives, exactly. People are living their lives and doing god knows what and whatever. And I would never be mad because somebody forgot my birthday, right like you forgot who cares exactly? Yeah, unless you're the type that's like, it's my birthdays coming, my birthdays coming,
My birthdays come. If you have done that, if you let your friends know that you're on birthday is like super important to you, then it's like all right, but still, yeah, I'm not. I mean, I try to hide under a rock called my birthday. We know, Okay, what's next? Is it reason by or shady to invite your friends to lunch and they and they all show up late? Um again, revert back to my shady moment of this episode. Yes,
it is very shady to come late. It is very shady to know before you even start your day that you're gonna come late, all y'all, that y'all were gonna come thirty to forty minutes later. So we did it. I'm telling Okay, I don't know what Ashley's excuse was. How is it that I can get this is the same traffic that I'm driving my traffic. Okay, it's not you, that's true, but me and Charie had the same traffic. Well, actually Charie's right around a corner, right around a corner,
so like she has absolutely no excuse. Y'all are just rude. Okay, moving on, what's the next reasonable? Um? Okay, this is from our good friend Asia. Asia says it's a reasonable or shady to expect a girlfriend to split the check evenly amongst friends if they didn't order alcohol at dinner. It is so the question, you know, when you when you're with a group of friends and you have one friend that's not drinking, and then you have and then the rest of the friends are ordering, you're splitting that
check booth. Yeah, yeah, you're splitting it with everybody else. That happened recently. Like I was out and like I'm not the the the order or the drink police, right, I don't even realize you're not drinking, right, Like if we're all out and we're just ordering and eating and all that, Like I'm not realizing what you're ordering. Yeah, yeah, so don't come when the bill comes. Don't be like, oh my gosh, I just water right, Like absolutely not.
You are here. You are you have decided to be amongst the group, right, and when you're with the group, you're gonna do as the group does. You're here for
the experience. You're here. It's not about like, oh I ordered this or I didn't order that, because it's like, are you so when someone hosts a party at their house, are you gonna be like, you know, I mean, should that host be like okay, well Marvin, you had one of each, so you owe me twenty but like Mary, you only had two things ten like you know what I'm saying, Like, no, it's just but I do feel though, if if there is a gathering or you know, if
you're out to dinner or whatever, and one person is like coming from somewhere else and they're not eating periods, Okay, that's different, right, yeah, then like they don't have to split the check, right, And if you're really good friends, because if this happens with me all the time, you know people's financial situations, right, and so I'll not always
not always, but you know, you have a clue. I'll take care of some people that I know, like I can take care of because you know that one hundred fifty dollars should stay and there are cats, So I'll do that right now. Sometimes you might go the group of friends might go to like a restaurant that's like
really expensive. Yeah right, And so it's like I feel like someone if they're not willing to like split the check evenly and they know that they're they're not going to be ordering as much because maybe they're on a tighter budget, Like maybe they should sit that one out. Yeah, you know you can't go yeah yeah, And I hate to say it, but yeah, no, like if you if you agree to the invitation, you know what it is, right, yes, the end. So I don't I don't know how to
answer that. But everybody needs to hold their weight. And this is the thing. Everyone at the table has heard my jokes and they are worth money. So y'all have all laughed at my jokes. So y'all all have to pay the same amount of money when the bill cops the end because my jokes off money. So they're paying you for your friendship. Yeah, well they're paying me for my um I have been very personable and they I've made everyone laugh. I have spilled some tea. You all
you always know I got some tea. You got honey, you put it in the tea, you stirred it up, and like come on now you have to pay. Oh my gosh. Okay, okay, so we have Let's do one more, another quick one. This is from Myisha, Myisha Price. She says we are her favorite housewives despite the haters. Thank you, yes,
hi hatus. Yes. Anyway, is it reasonable or shady if someone I don't really care for or like when I see them, if I ignore their existence and don't say anything too, that is very reasonable And I'm not mad at you for that, missy okay, because this is the thing we all can't get along. And so if it's actually you can be cordials. You can say, Hi, I would give them a head nod. You get them a
head nod. Yeah, okay, you know like the yeah, I would give them a nothing really, yes, what depends on the on the level of hate, I know, like if you okay, you don't care for them, don't care? Okay, if I don't care for somebody, and then in my space, I think you can still give them a it just ifbody depends on the level, and it depends on if
it's a working relationship. So if it's a working relationship, like we're in an office and I see you, I'll say good morning, right, Hi, okay, But if if we just out and about, if we club in, I'm speaking to you. Yeah, No. But but don't you find it weird? Like when you are out and about if you do see someone that you know, whether you are friends with them or not, you would you like them or not, and you like intentionally don't speak to them or don't
acknowledge that, don't acknowledge that you see them. Yeah, don't acknowledge their presence. Yeah. Yeah, So that's why I feel like in that case, like like an extremely recently like a little head head nod okay, right? Or no eye contact no or maybe or just like a hey, like a hey, hey, why am I even looking at you?
I don't like you? Because it's very hard to because if you see them, if y'all make eye contact, Okay, if you make eye contact with someone, yeah that you know and you don't like, how do you just like not acknowledge that you see them? I don't cock ahead to the side, like, I mean, that has happened to me. Yeah, more times than I would like. I would care to lie through, and I just keep it pushing, right. I'm not speaking to you like I feel like me speaking when you know I don't like you. I know I
don't like you. It's just too fake for me. I can't do it right. It's one of those that just depends on the level. Yeah, but some people they don't like confrontation, so they'll just go ahead and speak right right, so that there's no confrontation, but just be a bad bitch and don't speak right. I probably would, I would do something to acknowledge that I see you. But I'm not going to smile at you. Okay, you know what
I mean. So head nod, but no smile, head nod and grimace, not a poker face, A like head no poker face. How about just poker face. I'll let you know what I happened. It's gonna happen to me very soon, so next week baby. Yeah. Well, I mean I feel like just living your truth, whatever your truth is. And I don't want people speaking to me that don't like me. If you don't like me, and you see me. Don't speak to me, right, Yeah, I don't want the phoney
like hey, hey girl, how are you right? Hi? Like no, like we ain't cool? No, I don't want that. Yes, but what's up? Sup? Suet a a sub a? Sup is actually kind of nice? No, stop, it's like nice? No, No, SUP with the head knot up? Sup? In the same same motions. Yeah, so I think that's weird. Your head is knots up? Who says Sup? Smile? That's what's up? I know what. I know that, that's what I know. What that is? Who does that? People who don't like people? Sup?
You keep moving? Okay? I think SUP ended in twenty twenty, Like twenty twenty was ok Sup? How about this thumbs up? He'll no? Okay? How about peace? No? Okay, so no no hand gesture, no hand gestures? No, how about up yours? Okay, we're going off the rails. We are out of here. This episode is completely over it. Don't ever forget to live your life, either reasonable or shady, about to see y'all.
