Welcome to Reasonably Shady, a production of the Black Effect Podcast Network and I Heart Radio. Welcome to another episode of Reasonably Shade. D I am Gazelle Bryant. Who's up? What's up? In people? This is Robin Dixon. Thank you for being here with us. Yes again, Robin, we're still in February. Yes, so this is still a Black history mod We're still important. We don't we don't have that many that many days last? Do we have anything? Um? Yes? I want to share a quote and this is from

Shirley Chisholm. If they don't give you, I must try to say that my Shirley Chisolm voice. If they don't give you a seat at the table, bring a folding chair. Okay you like that? Okay, all right, you got one. Um. I think this is this speaks to you know, just the mess in Florida. Black history isn't a separate history. This is all of our history. This is American history, and we need to understand that it is such an impact on kids and their values and how they view

black people. And that is Karen Parsons. Yes, Karen Parsons. Okay, and you know one of our favorite forever forever president. Yeah. Um, change will not come if we wait for some other person or some other time. We are the ones we've been waiting for. We are the change we seek. Yes, Barack Obama, thank you. Yes. Yes. It's like, well, if you want change, then do it, then get it on yourself. Yes. I love that. Change is not easy. Change is not easy. Yeah,

it's not you know, it's fine. I just thought about that. I have a friend who is really passionate about making change in one of our major cities school system and legislation and blah blah blah blah blah, and she's just so frustrated with like the roadblocks and the red tape.

Oh yeah, like all the stuff that she's she's meeting, and I'm like, oh, I'm like, I know, it's like hard, it's taking up your time and you're just meeting people who are like you meet people that are like, yeah, let's do it, that's great, that's great, and then like they don't do anything or whatever. So it is hard. It's like, how do you make change when there's so much resistance to it or there's so many people that you know, so you can't do it, or like that.

It's like baby steps. Yeah, yeah, you gotta try to chip away a little bit at a time. Um and our favor, our favorite. Um, I'm going to reclaim my time, umxine vaccine waters. Yes, she is all about the chip away and the chip away, um, but we have to talk about our reasonably shady moment of the week. Yes, A let's see, Um, it's been a little quiet around here for me, I do. I was a little frustrated

the other morning. So when one is in the shower, like he's usually in the shower when I'm like, you know, maybe a little bit before I'm about to wake up, and he'll yell from the shower, rob, he's in the shower. And then this is a whole frustrating part. He'll be in the shower. I could be in the kitchen, it

don't matter where I am. The bedroom, the kitchen, you know, wherever, the basement, and he knows he's in the shower, right, but he wants to talk to me lovely, so it'll be rap robbing rab rabbing, and I'm like, there's no choice. I have no choice but to walk stop what I'm doing, walk up the steps, go in the bathroom and be like, yes, because I can't yell back, you know what. I can't be like yeah, because he can't hear me. He's in the shower, he can't hear me. He knows that, like

he's forcing me to come upstairs regardless. So so that's something that he does frequently. It's quite annoying. But he has a really strong voice that carries yes, and I can't like, I can't. I can't come back at him and yell from the from the kitchen. He's not going to hear me. My voice doesn't care like that. So anyway, the other day, I'm in the bed, So he typically would be like Rob Robing, what time is it? What? What time is it? So we're gonna put a clock

in the bathroom. So that's what I did. Oh okay, lovely, So I put a clock in the bathroom. Okay, okay, because I was sick of him asking me what time it was? Love that. So the other day, Rob, what time is it? And I just ignored him. I'm like, I'm not I'm not doing this. But did you tell him that there's a clock here? It is? Okay, Yes, yes, I told him there's a clock. It's right there. You can see it. Right from the shower. I'm not doing this with you. I'm not you're not playing this game.

I'm not rap. What time is it? I said, one look at the wall. It's like, oh my bad, bad, I'm just like I forgot, I forgot. How do you forget that? I put a damn clock, like, leave me alone. He just wants you to he wants you to see him naked in the show. I think that's his sexy time. Oh my gosh. So yeah, shady moment he is, Oh my god, just stops. That's that. That's a mess. Um. See you don't have to deal with that. No, no, and no moving on. So my shady moment. I was

another gym situation. I was walking to the gym and I was walking fast because I was trying to get to my class because I was running late. And this lady he she had her head down. I think she was I don't know what she was doing, but she was walking to She was walking kind of slow. She shut her head down and as soon as we like cross paths, she lifted her head and she sneezed on me. Disgusting. I said, oh my god. And so she was like,

I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry. Oh my gosh. I felt like saying, bit you sneezed on me, like you sneezed on me. Did she not know you were there? Because you said her? Her head was down, she didn't see me and I was walking fast, but she sneezed. I have never been sneezed doing in my life. I didn't in my mind. I told myself I didn't feel it, but I might have, but it was I wanted to go home and take a shower. I just wanted my day to be over. You sneeze on me, lady. I'm

on to you. But ever if I ever see her again, Lady, if I ever see you again, I'm coming for you. I don't even know if that means listen one time one. You know, a year after year with Potomac, we get sometimes we get different producers and um in this one producer she reminds me, I can't remember her name that I told her she I don't know something's going on with the scene and I was upset, and I was like, I said something to it, but I was like, I'm on for you, and she like later she was like,

so should I warn my family? Should I? UM get security from my kids. Like. She just was like, I'm merely trying to figure out what that means. Because you meant it, you meant you coming for me. What does that? She's like, I just want to know. Did I start warning everyone? I was like, I've calmed down. Oh my god, I won't be coming for you anymore. He larious. Okay, So Robin, have you been saving your your quarters and your dimes and your nickels for the tickets? Okay? Because

I register? Yes? Okay, me too. All right, so this is hopefully by the time this heirs, we have some better I have some better news. Okay. I have yet to receive any type of email text message from ticket masks me. You need to have I and I registered. I did I. You know, sometimes when I'm doing going fast on the on these emails and I don't check all the boxes or whatever, I was like, No, I'm gonna take my time. I'm gonna check everybody write my

name correctly. I'm gonna do everything I'm supposed to do. I want to put smiley faces on the end to hopefully try to get You're supposed to get a code, right, I got no code, but some people have gotten codes. I know some people have gotten tickets. Yeah, what does this mean? So apparently in in my one of my friend group chats, if you have a city card and this is such no great marketing, but yeah, I don't have no city card. Well you might want to get one,

just saying, because that's how you get a ticket. Ye, just saying. And what do Courtney say? She Courtney got two hundred level tickets for three seventy five. So there's two hundred level. That's not the floor, it's not nosebleed, so there's like so nosably just four hundred level, right, Okay, so two hundred levels. I mean you're in there. I'm in there. I'm in there. Where do you want your seats to be? I'm closed? So what are you paying?

How much? I'm just I'm I'm much gonna pay. I'm balancing. I'm I've been saving my coins. Five thousand dollars you're paying Damn, I'm not paying five thousand hours. I'm because I can't buy one ticket. I'm hoping, right exactly, I'm hoping. I'm okay with the fact that I might not be in the building. What what do you mean? And I'm hoping that they're going to do one of those like you know, film it things, like you know, she released that homecoming, the Coachella home So you gave up everything,

you gave up. Well, I mean, if I get to if we'll see like if I don't get it, I don't get it. But I also think, um, once all these tickets are sold or whatever, like we get closer to the date, there's going to be more tickets available. Yeah. I think there's gonna be a release of tickets right, and I'm just gonna snatch those up. I gotta be on on top of It's amazing, Like we're talking about football stadiums. We're not talking about basketball arena like this is.

We're talking about Beyonce. Insane. Yes, that's insane. Well, I told you when I saw her in Paris, it was like, yeah, it was a stadium. Yeah, I've seen it in the football stadium too. But she when she came last time was the same I saw at the Raven Stadium in Baltimore. To me, it was a stadium. Yeah, and so that's that's how she do. But but I don't remember having to do all of this to get a Beyonce ticket,

get a football Stadium, That's what I'm saying. I'm like, I think the Taylor Swift people messed it up, so now we got to do different things. But people remember how people were talking to Oh my god, it's Beyonce gonna perform at the Grammys. Yell, no, that's free. No, she ain't doing that. If I were her, I wouldn't do that. And then you know, everyone wants her to release the visuals renaissance now, and I feel like, Beyonce, know what she does might not happen. She's gonna make

that paper, y'all? Okay, Um, now speaking of not getting any paper. So from what I understand, I just found this out that, um, they honored all of the quarterbacks from the NFL. Who is the NFL? The NFL for kiss dreama. Oh, it's all the black quarterbacks, not all the quarterbacks, because that'd be a lot. Okay, they honored all the black quarterbacks and they left off Cam Newton. Can that's what you get? Okay? That's why was that? A? Because no, it wasn't snap food a snap food. Really

they forgot Cam Newton? But why so? Why? So? Tell me why? Because he wants all of his women to be subservient. This is what I think the NFL does not care about that. I know they don't care, but just now does. Yes, he does not want them to win on their own. He wants them to food. Yes, so he got what he deserved. Well, I mean yes, I mean he's black and he's a quarterback. Like that's the only criteria because there's only what like five? This at least what ten? No more than ta um? I

mean over the years, there's there's at least ten for sure? Yes, yeah. What what is Russell? What is Sierra's usband? Is he a quarterback? Okay? So this Russell? This Cam? Yeah, there's Lamar Jackson. Wait a minute, black way backs in the Super Bowl? My home? Is he black? He's black? Okay? He is? He is biracial? Does he say he's black? And I'm not trying to be shady, I mean, what do you want want him to walk around and be like, I'm black? Does he viewed himself? I'm black, y'all? You

know that's how he talks. I'm black, y'all, view himself as a black man? Knows that, Yes, I believe that he knows that he is a black man. Okay, all right, but I don't know. I mean, i can't speak for him. I don't know. I've never seen that even be a topic. But when people are, you know, even with the Super Bowl, it's the headline is this is amazing. There are two black quarterbacks in the super Bowl. So yes, my homes. Yes, Yes, he has not come out and be like, no, no,

y'all got that wrong. I'm not black, y'all. So I was like, no, I'm not black. I'm not black. That's how he talks. Yes, talks like that. I've never heard him. Yes, he talks like that. Okay, Okay, I've seen his wife and she's not black at all, not by any stretch. Okay, uh speaking of, not speaking of but like we we haven't discussed this, Robin. I think it's just like, because so much has happened, it's just kind of like we failed, or Gazelle failed to discuss how beautiful your wedding was,

like totally, utterly, spectacularly beautiful. Thank you you looked amazing the surround because y'all, remember I wasn't because I wasn't invited on TV. I had to watch it with the rest of the millions of people. Ain't that rude whatever. So the mirrored I'll bet you had was fantastic. Um. All the flowers whoever did your flowers did a great jobs. That. The company is Bethel Creations. So my friend Natalie, who is a wedding planner, Um, I enlisted her to you know,

pull off a beautiful ceremony and it didn't end. So she pulled in all her you know, her trusted vendors who were able to you know, come in and do it. And um. And just for the record, I you know, I don't ask for anything for free. So I paid for everything, you know what I mean, Like, I don't you know you've heard of people in the past trying to get all of their wedding stuff free. Like no, like this was. I don't like to do that at all. I don't want free stuff, Like I want to pay

people for their services. I want to pay them what they what they you know, deserve all of that type of stuff. So anyway, so these were like her trusted mendor. Okay, but I do sometimes like free stuff. Yeah, I'm just saying I don't want you to think that, you know. Anyway, moving on, you know, so my my thing on free stuff, it's never free. It's never it's just that it's never free. And I'm joking about the free stuff, like I pay for my stuff because when it is free, then they

want all of these things attached to it. You gotta post eighteen twelve times, you gotta stand on your head, you gotta do all this nonsense because it's quote free, it's not. But then it's not free, right exactly. Yeah, And it's like and I'm fine, like I don't I don't if I pay for it, I'll post like I don't know. If I want to post something I'm and it's you know, and I like it and whatever, I'll tag you. It's fine, Like I'm not really like I

don't know. I just don't want to feel obligated to to carry out certain things because you know, something was free, you know, so so just I just you know. Anyway, So Natalie, my good friend went to college with her. You know, um, she's amazing Natalie Melton event design group she's based in. Was she at the wedding? Yeah, she was world Yeah, because that wasn't there just every she was working, so she was there. She was in a work mode, so it was okay because she was in

a work mode. Yes, I could have worked it. I could have held something I don't know, a plant or really rose, I don't know. Anyway, moving on, it's not about me, so it's not about you. So Natalie event design groups like based in you know, the Washington d C Areas, If anyone needs an amazing wedding plan or please hit her up, because she did in amazing job. It was. It was nice because it was like, you know, clearly very intimate, but it was like more than what

I imagined. Because when I tell you that wedding in Jamaica was going to be some rinky dink mess, that's why we like they literally when they sent me like okay, these are your floral options, and I'm like, what do you mean? Like I said, I don't know, this is not this does not feel like that what that Jamaica situation was going to be booty. Yeah, okay, well I'm glad that that did. I'm glad it happened the way

that it happened. Yeah, And so for me, I was like, you know what, it happened the way it was supposed to happen, like yeah, and it was. It was just it was really nice, very nice. Thank you. I've been meaning to tell you, guys, or tell you. I think I did tell you about this show that I watched Culture Traders. Yeah, I watched the first episode, so I'm done. Okay, okay, is it as good like I've seen people say it was really good? So so I would say the Last

Traders is on Peacock, y'all is on Peacock. So it's a reality show and there's some Bravo lebs on there. So you'll see Kate from below Deck, Um, Kyle from Summer House, Resida, and I can spoiler alert Residue booted the first um, there's a Bachelor survivor people, and then there's some regular average I mean average, but regular everyday people, everyday folks, right, and it's so it's a great mix.

And when I tell you, by by episode four maybe five, everyone is just so paranoid because everyone's lying to everyone and everyone's jocking. So the premises there's Traders that no one knows our Traders, and then everybody else is a faithful deep in the Scottish Highlands. There's a castle where the faithful reside their goal when a quarter of a million dollars but hitting amongst them are three traders. Exciting, isn't it? The traitors amongst you? You think, do you

know who they are? So just no one? And you thought the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is bad. So they're all in the house together. They're all in the house together, and every night there's a banishment, and you want to banish the traders because at the end, whatever money is left, if there's a trader there, they get all the money. Regardless of how many faithfuls are left, they get all the money. So um, and there there

are in the prize. They say it's two dollars yes, correct. Okay, So you're saying, if there are three people left and one of them as a trader, the trader gets two d and fifty and the other two gets zero zero. If there are three people left, then and if they're all faithful, and they're all faithful, and they split it and split the way, yes, like every day they eliminate somebody, right, every day they banished somebody that the whole group talks that around table and they talk about in the group

decides who to banish, and that person. Once they're banish, they have to say if they're a trader or faithful, so you know, if you're a faithful you want to banish a trader, but you know, everybody's so paranoid. Um, and then the traders get together at night and they murder somebody in the middle of the night, okay, murders

and quotes like you nobody dying here. So but it is so freaking good, really, yes, just seeing how people go about like they're so paranoid, but like people are being manipulated or people are people know how to play the game and people don't, and then people get caught up in their feelings and people like you lied to me, who told me you were faithful and you're a trader? Like it's so really it's I'm like, yeah, hell yeah, they lying. They try to win the money like this

is this is this is a game people. So I think it's interesting that they tell you who the traders are because I was thinking at first, like we the viewers were going to have to try to figure out who was who as well. But yeah, I guess not, so all right, I need to pick it up and keep watching. So you were you were glued. I was glued. I even as I'm watching the first episode I called my manager and I was like, um, I want to be on season two, and in my contract, I wanted

to say that I'm a trader. So if you see me on season two, okay, you just spoiled. Okay, I'm not I'm a faithful. I'm a faithful anyway, it's amazing. Yeah, I think if I showed up and you were there, I'd be like, yeah, she's out of here, get her out. Well, they would want to get me out for several reasons. But last is so long because she was so the vocal. People die on the sword. Um, but you know, I don't want to spoil it, but y'all definitely watch it. Okay,

so you know. It's funny though when they did pick the traders, Like so when he when he was picking the traders, I was like, if I was picked as a trader, you would see all on my face, no I'm a poker face, Like I think I would have been laughing, like yeah, I would have been like I'm a trading yell. You would have been booted immediate big goofy smile on my face. I would have I would have had to be like biting my cheeks, like oh my gosh. I was like, I was like nervous for

the trader, the people they picked. I was like, how are they going to just like go go about and like pretend like they're not a trader, because I would just be like, and I want to know what that contract is because if if I'm getting paid, how do I say this? If I'm getting I might not care about the pot you know what I mean? Because I'm getting paid to be on the show, you know. So I don't no, no, no no, but I think in order, I feel is not enough. I feel like they need

to increase it. Really, yes, yeah, First of all, they're in Scotland. They have to do I'm sorry, they have to do um challenges. The challenges are out of this world. The challenges get harder and harder. There was a challenge. I was like, I would have tapped out, And what's the purpose of the challenge? To get the money? So you raise money? Oh I did see that part. Yeah, there's one challenge. I promise you if they If I was there, I would have been like, I'm good, y'all.

I would have ripped that mic off so fast and been out of there, booked me a ticket home. Really yes. I wonder how long they filmed it for another two weeks. Probably it's a low budget. It's a low budget situation here. Anyway, I do want to have a disclaimer and then we gotta talk about something. I do want to disclaimer or

not disclaimer. But a couple about a month ago, we talked about the vibranium that's in the Congo, which I was like, so Robin was side eyeing me as I was talking about it because on the Internet there was a guy that was holding a rock and the rock seemed to have an electrical charge to end. Okay, so I was like, oh my gosh, it's really true. Wakanda is real. This is vibranium. Finally watched What Come to Forever on my couch very long yea, so um, I was like, please can I stop it? Can I turn

it off? Of course you all are reasonably shade Sters sent us a note saying that, um, there's a claim that there's electrically charged stones have been discovered and the Democratic Republic of the Congo so this is the facts, guys. Experts are saying that it's unclear exactly how the light in the video is being powered, but all agree rocks alone cannot hold the charge. Like and I want to know who these experts are because as far as I'm concerned,

I don't know what I'll talk about. And then there's and then they said that there's no chemical reactive capacity and a rock that you would get in a battery. So but that's the whole point for me. The whole point is, no, rocks are proven not to have electrical charges, but in the Congo, because the Congo is so special, that is where the electric rocks live. That this is not just a rock. No, this is vibra vibranium. We're calling it vibranium, but know the Congo people might call

it something else. We're calling it vibrating because of Wakanda. So you still don't believe. So all of this report has been refuted, disputed, all of that. I don't. I don't believe that what the experts have to say. I believe. I believe in the Congo. I'm done. I'm done talking, all right. So I you told me the other day that you saw you you just saw a car accident. Yes, and we're bringing this up because guys, we know that y'all listen to reasonably shady when you're driving, and we

love y'all for that. However, be careful. Yes right, I know a lot of y'all listen and you know we say some things makes you laugh and stuff. So but but please, we care about you all. We want you all to be safe. So yes, so, um yeah, the other day I have like two I got one really crazy driving story. Um. So the other day, I was just like at a red light and all of a sudden, you just hear like you know, like and then you see a car like going off onto the side. Um

and apparently the we're at the red light. The guy it was like two cars in front of me must not realized it was a red light. I don't know if he was distracted, I don't know what. He goes into the out into the intersection as if we had a green light. Yeah, and then so the cars in the that had the green light had to like swerve and avoid him, and thank god, like it was a guy driving a Grand Cherokee. He literally swerved, I mean you know, and there's like, you know, debris all on

the road, so they definitely crashed. But he did literally had to swerve off the side of the road. And where he ended up. He was like right next to a pole, like he missed the pole on each side, you know what I'm saying. And I'm like, God, thank god, it could have been a disaster. But like, you know, just I know you guys listened to the podcast in the car, and you know we drive every day, Like just please be careful out here driving Like it's just

it's scary. Like all it takes is one little you know, dis glance away, and I don't want y'all get into an accident. Y'all blame it on reasonably shady because I know that's coming. Yeah no, please, I was blaming my just on your accident. We just want you all to be safe. But then this thing, I just think about this one crazy story and its like it gives me chills to this day. It was like I still remember like it was June eight, two thousand sixteen. I was driving on I had just had lunch um with my

line sisters in National Harbor. No, no dinner, we had dinner. It was nighttime. We had dinner in National Harbor. Um. We were driving home. This is when I lived in Silver Spring, So I'm on the four ninety five Beltway coming from National Harbor to Silver Spring, right and I'm driving. I'm in the second lane from the fat so so like you know, you got the fast lane. I'm in the lane next to the fast lane and all of a sudden, my life and to my line is in

the cart. My lines was like, um, is there car heading towards us? Literally driving and there is a car driving the wrong way in the fast lane so in the lane next to me, and literally I'm just like frozen, Like I'm like what the like and I'm just like, oh my god. In the car literally like sped right past me and it just and then it was just crazy because I'm like, okay, there has to be an accident here, right, So oh there was a cop on

my other side. And so when he saw that, he kind of got over and turned around about about whatever. So there was a cop that tried to stop them. Well he I mean he couldn't stop him. Like he looked that car like zoomed past us in the fast lane. That was like one of l chop those people. He was like running from the police. I mean, but there was no one was no one was chasing him. No, no, nobody was chasing this cop. It was just weird. I was just trying to like how did we get here?

Like was this intentional? So anyway, the crazy part, I never saw anything on the news, like, never saw a report. Like I was like googling, like wrong way driver. I'm sure nothing came up. I even called the police station, yeah, and they were like, hey, you had time on your hands because I was like so intrigued, like what happened here? Um? So anyway, I did, Oh what I also did when

I got home, I logged into the highways cameras. You can log into the cameras, yeah, you can, kind of Sid's Robin doing because I was I was like, there's no way that this person was driving the wrong way and like did not cause a disaster. So when I logged to the cameras, I could see that traffic was stopped, like there were no cars coming on the highway anyway. That still freaks me out to this day because it's like somebody intentionally like like you know, we just were

sitting ducks almost did you intend? Did they intentionally get on four ninety five going the wrong way? I don't. That's what I'm like, That's what I was trying to figure out. I don't know how. You don't right, you know, I'm saying, I don't know how. You're in the fast lane on the belt Way going the wrong way and it wasn't intentional, Like you don't, that's not a mistake. I don't know anyway, can I But can I tell you what bothers me when I'm driving, because this has

been happening a lot, these people on their phone. We're at a red light, the light turns green, you better start moving. You're getting a beat beat And I won't give you like a bomb. I'm gonna give you a like a little but like people put your phones down, I know, pay attention. I would say, I'm guilty of that sometimes, you know it's like you're just you're sitting in the red light your board. You're like, you know, trying to pass the time, or or someone texted you

or whatever. But yeah, but definitely like realize that you are driving. And now now that my kids are, you know, Grace obviously has a driver's license. The twins are learning how to drive because they're like learning now, they're so on me with regards to how I drive. So they're like, mom, that's a that's not a right on red you cannot turn. They're like, Mom, you didn't stop at the stop sign. You supposed stop before the line. Not Oh my god.

I'm like, i've been driving. How long you've been driving? Seven seconds? But that's good. That's good that they're being cautious. You know, eventually they'll get to they'll be way more comfortable and they'll drive the way you drive. But they're being cautious. I would rather my kids do that. Didn't be like why didn't you run the red light? You

know what I mean? Oh yeah, I do that too anyway, So anyway, I mean that makes me think of like when you're driving, like what are some of your pet peeves? Like that be one, but you know, the people on the phone, the people yes at the red light light turnscreen and you're still sitting there on your phone having a full text message conversation or looking on Instagram or something. So one of one that like drives me crazy is tailgators.

Like people who tailgate me? What's a tailgator? So when you're driving, you know, and they're like clothes, they're close to you that I hate that. Like, i I'm very like even though I might drive a little fast. I still I still make sure I keep a nice distance between myself and the car in front of me. So um So I hate when people are like tailgating me, like it makes me very uncomfortable. And I'll just like, you know, because it's kind of like a private investigator.

They're like on you. Well, it's just dangerous, like you can't. I'm just I'm just scared because I'm like, if I have to stop suddenly and you're on my ass, yeah they're gonna get you. Yeah, they're mean, they can't see. It just makes me so uncomfortable. So that makes me think about the time that I drove home with Carly in New York from New York from Bravocan Carly Carly r D Yes, Carly is looking to be like when I tell you, I was sitting in the back, Carley

was driving. It was raining, and she was tailgating everybody. Carly, why do you do that? You don't? Oh my god, I was like, and I'm so dangerous, And I'm literally sitting the whole time just like watching the whole like I could not relax because she was so close to everybody, like she Carly can't drive do you know that you tailgate? Carly? Carly is saying she knows, she doesn't. Oh don't knowbody want to hear this? So she just said Carly just said she was tired. So she said, I was driving

and I was tired. That makes it worse. You're tired and your tailgate and why you don't tailgate? But you can't You tired because you were working. Then that's why you get paid the big bucks. Hello, get over it anyway, So okay, just pay attention to Carly. Yes, I don't want anything to happen to you. That makes me nervous. Okay. And you were like on the highway it was raining, you were tired, it was congested, and you were like close to people. So now she's waiting. But she's blaming

to like genetics. She said, everybody in my family drives that way. So does in New York because they because they learned in New York. New York. No, no, no, like I need I need to, Like I gotta see what's in front of the car in front of me. Yeah, so okay, just just be as, just be careful. She's gonna blame it on New York, but she lives in full full state of Maryland in Maryland. Like all you're like, when when did you move to Maryland? Age? Right, So

she's been in Maryland her entire driving career. Yes, yeah, so she want to blame being up on somebody's ass from New York. Right, Okay, whatever, moving on. Okay, this one burns me up and it brings out my um. It used to bring in my road out my road rage. People who don't let you merge. Oh, but like, is it a because I'm I'm a famous merger What do you mean? Like you're You're like, you're gonna let me over regardless, I will shut down the whole damn highway.

You don't let me over, Like I'm like, you're gonna let me over, right, But I hate the people who are like, Nope, you're not getting in. Nope nope, and they keep pushing on the gas Nope, Nope, you're not getting it. Like you know, if it's like traffic, if it's like bumper to bumper traffic, right, and you're like trying to merge either like okay, you you might be trying to get in front of traffic and so you you know, rode up on the side or not the side,

but you know what I mean. Or if you're like merging from a ramp and there's literally a person that's like they are pulling so close to the person in front of them so you cannot move, so you cannot It's like I look at them and I just start cracking up. I'm like really, I'm like, that's what we're doing, like, because you're going to get home so much quicker because you did not let me over. They takething bad happened

at work. They're just taking it out on the merging. Okay, something bad happens, Like they don't like really like do they think they're getting home that much faster if they don't let me over? Or are they just like no, like get in line, Like what is it? They're like, no, get in line because they've been in this traffic and now you here, you come, Johnny come lately trying to bust up in front them. No, I get it, you get it. Okay. So you're one of those not really

kind of kind of but I'm very free with my driving. Yeah, I had to like learn, you know, just as I got older, just let it all go. But it's like, oh my gosh, okay, So here's another one. So when you are entering the highway from a ramp, right, and there's someone behind you, you're there's someone behind you and you gotta merge over, but that person behind you merges over in front of you. I don't like that. Dangerous. That's so annoying. It's not only annoying to dangerous, it

is dangerous. Right. It's like they're getting in front of there. They are so impatient and they just wanna, I don't know, get in front of you while you're both trying to merge, like can we work together here? Clearly we cannot work together? Like what is wrong with you all? Just trying to get where we go? It's so crazy, it's so yeah,

that is that's very annoying. So if you do that, if you don't realize you're doing that, then like you know, pull back guys back in front of you, just merge and get over and then you can get over and drive fast. Right Okay, oh okay, this is like not something that like people do. It's just like the thing whatever. So when you're when they're like, oh, yeah, I got a shortcut, let's take this shortcut, right, who says that

there's ways, there's Google Maps. So when ways or Google Maps or whatever they take you, like on the alternate route ways, and there's like fifty turns, like I would rather just stay straight then take fifty million turns, Like I cannot stand that. I can't stand that either. That's called the Mulberry Bush. That's where you're going all over the Mulberry Bush and ways. The only time I use ways is to come to your house because traffic you told me to know, because you said Robin's house is

hard to find. Oh well, no, it's fine now it's on them. So at first, when we moved into our new house, our street was like a brand new street and it wasn't on like Apple Maps or Google Maps, and it was taking people like they kept delivering my stuff around the corner and all that type of stuff. But it's fine now yea. So well, um, yeah, I hate ways because of that. And no I don't I want to I want to go, yes, the fastest way,

but if there's traffic, I'll take the Mulberry Bush. But it just depends even if it's so even if it's not traffic, even if it's like a person is like oh yeah, don't go that way to go to you know, like take that this is my little shortcut. And it's like I'm like, that's not a shortcuts. Like it might have saved us one minute, but like I literally had to just make ten turns, right, Like I hate that. I hate that. Um people who break for no reason? Yeah,

like what are you doing? Right? Like why? Right? So I'm reluctantly teaching a door how to drive, and so she'll just be driving out street zoom zooms, and and then she's just like break break and I'm like, what are you doing? And so she's like, I don't know. I just I was going too fast. I was going

too fast. And so I'm like, what if you because that will cause somebody to hit you from behind, right because you break because when they do it, it's like out of nowhere, it's like a sudden for no reason. And so if I if I'm if we're like on the highway, we're driving, all of a sudden you break, I'm like, oh, let me break, right, And then that's

just so this is what annoys me. If there's two lanes and somebody's taking up both the straddling both lanes and then you and then you so you're so annoyed because they've been doing it for a mile and my my whole you know, I I have row rage sometimes, but like you don't have to work on it. I'm older now and I'm just like try not to get very angry. Right, But then you like roll up on

that present. You get you good a place where you can roll up on that president and you're ready, like you're ready to like look at them and kind of christ and then you realize like it's a little old and you're like, I can't cause I can't even look at her. I'll just be like, please get home safely because you know they're gonna drive in the middle street wherever they're going right. And then I think about my dad.

I'm like, should you still be driving? Oh? I know, I know at some point we need to cut off the old people. This is not agis. Don't send me no hate mail. But like a d you're done, Yeah, well, I mean eight you think so I think you're done driving. There's uber's, there's friends, there's you know, call a car, there's all kinds of stuff. Fine one, because I think some eighty year olds would probably be mad. Yeah, they probably be like, yeah, no, I'm good. I can drive

like my father's three. He still drives. My dad drives crazy. Okay, my dad drives, and it's crazy because he drives slow. Does he break for no reason? He's all over the road. He takes the whole road is for him. And I'm like, Daddy, you gotta get in your lane and so and he's like, what do you mean? What do you mean? What do you mean? What do I mean? Get in your lane? Do they is there? Do they make older people take the driving test again or do something of check in?

Know what I mean? I don't know. They probably can't see. I'm it's terrible. So I think eighty Okay, guess what when I turned eighty, I'm gonna let it go. You said that now, Okay, we'll see, I said, seventy five. I'm good. Yeah, no, that's definitely not happened. Okay, this is the side and this is side on never mind, that's never mind. When I was married, I used to be like, hey, um, at seventy five, you can have sex with whoever you want to have sex with because

I won't care anymore. He took that and ran with it because it didn't wait till he was said we were seventy five. But that's not the point. The point is at seventy five, if you're still married to somebody, do you really care who they have sex with? That's the question. Where are we going here? Do you really care? Like you second five, he's seventy seven. I cannot imagine

that you care. I can't know if you want to like because if there's a moment where I don't want to do it and you do, go find somebody else to do it with. That's that's just my philosophy. Okay, So if there are any seventy five year olds listening, I hope not because we're in a horrible demographic. That just kidding, Oh my god, just kidding, just kidding. Just look, you will be sing before you know, and I will who if I If I'm in a relationship, the dude

can have a free for all. So your thing, you know, it's well, I mean, if you're married, okay. I feel like when seventy five year olds or in a relationship, they never call them Okay, if they're not married to that person, they don't call them. They're like boyfriend and girlfriend. They just like that's my friend. Really, there's your friend, that's their friend. My grandmother had a friend, you know what saying? It was like, Okay, I guess. And when I think about it now that I'm older, I'm like,

was he friends with other ladies? Maybe? But Mr Johnson, Dennis Johnson, who lived in Augusta, Georgia, grandmother's friend because they didn't live in the same city. No, she lived in Baltimore and Dennis Johnson lived in Augusta, and that was her friend. When would they see each other, he would come visit or she would go down there, but it was always you know, Mr Johnson. So but now I think about it, I'm like, oh, that wasn't just her friend. Wait a minute, Robber, you're just now figuring

that out because I was. I was. Mr Johnson was getting it in okay with your grandmother, I hate to tell you, Okay. And they were driving, they were taking trips, driving trips, driving all over the road when they shouldn't have been. No, they should not have been cat calling over okay. So Robin and I have had a couple of like, well, Robbing in particular, have had a couple of weeks that have just been like a lot, okay, So well, not really me, but I'm gonna say robbing okay,

but I'm gonna be in there with you. So this So there is a phone number that you can call and it gives you encouraging words by the mouths of children, and it's beautiful. So I'm gonna read the number seven or seven eight seven three seven eight six too. So if you call this number, can you read that again? That? Okay? Can I seven or seven? That is a pet peeve? Yeah. When people call you and they leave your voice mess and you say, hey, robbing this Mary Jones, give me

a call back for one oh photo? What Mary? Really? Okay, I'm gonna say it's well seven oh seven eight seven three seven eight six too. If you want an encouraging word, if they're having a bad day, if you go on social media and you realize it's toxic and you just need some uplifting words, just call that number and you're gonna get a child to tell you you can do it. Life is good, all is well, and it's gonna uplift your entire day. Trust and believe Can I can I

try it? Yes? So Ron's gonna call it right now. So you'll can understand what we're talking about, but we just want to you know, we always want to give you all something positive out here. I think that a positive word from my child, because like, if my kids tell me something positive, I'm always like super excited about you know what they have to say. They don't say

it very often, but oh actually you know what. You know, he's been giving me hugs lately, angel as a non hugger, and she has been like rolling up on me, hugging me, telling me she loves me.
