Oh my gosh. All right, so right before we started this episode, Rob was talking about, you know, she's very organized and she likes to be organized because like I don't care at all. Well it's so I feel like I win things, but I like to be organized. That's one if you remember, like last week and we talked about toxic traits, it's one of your toxic traits. That's a good thing being organized. No, Robin, you have to cross every tea and dot every eye before you make
a decision. All I know, I know, But that's not toxic. That's beyond TOXI Well, I mean, we we need a little bit more wiggle room. I give it. When you do, when do you give the wiggle We have plenty of wiggle room. Okay, all right, I just want y'all to know we don't and Robin needs all the tease dotted, No, the eyes dotted anyway. Um, this is our episode of Reasonably Shady. We're so happy that y'all are here. November

Okay, we didn't talk about like the It was kind of like, UM, a national holiday. Do you want Do you want to give us your reasonably shading, your shady moment? Oh I haven't done that yet. Oh reasonably shady moment. Okay. So remember last week I
told y'all's Grace's birthday. So for my kids when it's a birthday, I always get them, you know, a bunch of big balloons. I was gonna say helium balloons, but what other kind of balloons are there? Right? It's it? Okay, so a bit like the big ones, right, I got a bunch of those. Um, they're waiting for them as soon as they open their eyes on their birthday. Okay, So I'm in. I'm actually got this because I was rushing.
I didn't go to like a balloon store. I just went to like safe for it and got what they had blown up. And I go to I saw I'm holding six humongous happy birthday balloons. The lady at the counter says, so, is it somebody's birthday? So it wouldn't is to me off, but I cannot stand stupid small talk. Yeah, that was that was she was trying to make small talk. Yes, and it was done. So I, being a smart ass, said no, no, it's no one's birthday. I'm just holding
six happy birthday below that are as bigger than my head. Okay, lady, ring me up and get me out of here. Yes, lady, you're shady. Okay, Wait, is it possible that like the balloons were turned around they say happy birthday on both sides, both sides, and there's six huge ones like stop it, lady, don't talk to it. How about we just don't talk? Does you do your job? I pay the money. I'm out. That's hilarious. That's right. She should have said whose birthday
is it? That would have been a better question. That would have been a better question, And then that's what she meant to say. She followed up with like, so, we're all your kids doing great? I was like, what, you cannot be talking to me right now? You're trying to have a conversation with me. She clearly knew who you were. She knew who you were, and he was I'm there all the time. Really, yes, has she waited on you before? She hasn't. Guess what, I'm never going
to your line again, lady. That's it for me. She knew who you were. She probably was a little nervous because she probably was excited, and she came up with the dumbest things to ask you, dumb where she should have just been like, oh my god, whose birthday is? The twin's birthday? Is Grace's birthday? Like she should have just been like, yeah, I know you, I know you, and I know your kids, and I need to know whose birthday is? Yes the end? All right, what's your
reasonably shady moment? Oh my gosh, okay, y'all, I'm about to turn in my parenting cards, just dropping it, turned it in. What happened? Okay, so you know Corey broke his foot. Yes, I don't know. Did I talk about this on the podcast? He broke his foot, broke his foot. He was in a boot boot for you know whatever seven weeks or so. He's out the boot, he's rehabbing.
Blah blah blah blah blah. Yeah. Carter broke his wrist no Monday, broke his wrist how at school, I don't know, doing something running fell tried to you know, brace himself, broke his wrist. The same situation as core We're like, oh, it's just sprained. Oh, it's just sprained. So for two days we're like, yeah, it's just sprained. And then he's just like, oh my god, it hurts so bad. And so last night took me to patient first. And that's the other part of the It depends on which when
you go to. But you might go to one and they are terrible, right, So so this one so when I when I Okay, so first of all, I first went to the hospital. I went to St. Agnes, which is in Baltimore. Right off, I just went to the hospital and the line for the emergency room was out the door, okay, And I was like, oh, yeah, no, I'm not going to do it. So then I was like,
let me go to patient first, okay. So I drove the patient first and I pull up the parking lot is completely full, like in the waiting room is so apparently you know that like it's flu season, that there's some like respiratoryy retrograde. It's Mars retrograde mark maybe maybe that's what it is. Um, it's so crazy busy, right, So I'm like, I'm like, Carter, it's crowded. We're gonna be here forever, Like, can we can we go home with? Well? This is because he did it two days ago. He
did a two days prior. So I'm like, I'm like, all right, we're just gonna go, you know, tomorrow to like the place around the corner during the days fired. I'm taking your mommy card. So so anyway, so I was and oh, gosh, on top of him with the wrist injury, he also was had a swordthroat um congested, and so I'm like, there for two reasons, okay, So it's because his wrist hurts, isn't I don't know. I'm
just making this up. A sword you get a swordthroat when you when when your mommy doesn't take you to get your wrists hand old, all of a sudden you tho't start hurt, that's okay, right, and ever your ailments, yes, all your ailments come forward. So anyway, so so I'm like, all right, you know what, let's go in. Let's just see. So I went in and even though it was a lot of people, they actually had a really good system
in place, you know what I mean. So like you check in and then so one person then like check you in, they you know, typing all your stuff up, blah blah blah, and they're like, okay, um, you know, go back and wait. Either you can wait in your car, you wait in the waiting room and they'll come and get your vitals, right okay. So then literally it's probably like, you know, I waited five minutes and then they're calling
me to get the vitals. So then they get the vitals, then they send you back and then you know, you wait a little bit longer and then they're coming for the X ray and they send you back and then you know, and then they waiting again. Yeah, so it was like you didn't You weren't just like sitting there stagnant for hours, but we were there for hours. Yeah, we were as smart, like two hours we were there. Yeah.
So anyway, so the shady moment is just like I just kids, and it's like what Okay, So the Shane woman is robbing is shady because she mad her kids keep breaking their bones? Okay, alright, like breaking their bone is gonna sore throat. Oh I'm I got a cough, Like, oh my god, to do this for another ten years? Right, so now I have to. So now Corey, it's like how many appointments? You know what I'm saying. So I just got through Corey with his appointments. He's going, you know,
getting his x rays and blah blah blah. And now Corey's gotta do you know, physical therapy. Now I gotta deal with this one. How did the boy break his wrist just like fell embraced braced himself. He was chasing a girl around around the schoolyard and she tripped him and he found it's cute, so out doing the most how much? Okay? And then and then he's the type I'm sorry he's going to milk. Oh, he's a milker. He's a milker. Oh that's the worst. Can you help
me put my shirt on? Can you open this for me? Can you can you fix my play? That's Angel. Let's Angel will melt the hell out of your ass. He's actually upstairs in bed right now. He's not even at school. Okay. The attendance so normally, okay, years before, normally, if one kids stayed home because they were still you know, both of them, stay on that. Corey Dixon was so bad this morning. He was like, wait a minute, so Carter gets to stay home and I have to go to school.
He's like, I'm supposed to stay home too. I said, Corey, it's a new days. It's a new day. I said, get your ass, get your dress, let's go. I mean he we were late because he was dragging because he was so mad. Yeah, the Carter got to stay home. Listen, I get it. I get it. Angel, I got I was I was traveling for for work. I got home. This was actually last night and Angel had called me to tell me she was not feeling well, like, oh mo, I mean my news is running and no, I just
feel kind of dizzy. So I'm like, what you feel dizzy? Yeah? So she I walked in the front door. Her bedroom is on the on the level as the front door, but she decided she wants to go downstairs and lay on the ground, huge dramatics. So she was like, mommy, she's calling me, like barely called mommy. So I was like, a door, it's Angel calling me. She was like yes, I said, call Angel, and I was exhausted. I said, called Angel and tell her to come upstairs because she
need to go to bed anyway. So Angel was screaming, Mommy, come come. So I go downstairs. She's all out on the floor and I'm like, Angel, what can I Can I get you something? She's like no, I just want to say hi. I was like, oh my gosh, this child, she's the worst. Shekes it all absolute? Is that the one where were we Andy calling from the school and we were here. I was sitting in this very seat. B ch'all. The school nurse was calling and there was nothing wrong with the child in any way. Yeah, we
love the children. Okay, there's a national holiday that we didn't talk about. Robin last week, Rihanna dropped a song Oh and it became a national sigh of relief. Thank you Rihanna. It was like, oh, thank you, but but it was the people want it. I enjoyed it. I love the song. I think it's beautiful. I think it's beautiful. But I think when people were thinking hearing Rihanna and new music, they thought it was going to be something a little like like her own music, like Umbrella Ella Ella.
We're going gets okay, but this song is for the movie. What conte it is? It has great significance. I'm sure when you see the movie and you have and the music is like whatever, Whenever they decided to play this song in the movie, it's going to be like, it's gonna be epic. It's a tribute to chat with Boman. Um. Now are you going to go see the movie? Um? You know, I don't really like going to the movie theater. Yeah, I feel like this one that's when you gotta see.
I definitely like I went to see Black Panther, so I could definitely and I'll definitely like take the boys to see it for sure. Okay, I've already got my tickets. I'm very excited. Um, the kids are really excited. So we're gonna make like a whole afternoon of it. No, we'll go like Sunday during the day. I can't deal with nighttime with people in the movie theater. Again, I'm not dealing with y'all. But anyway, I'm taking my kids. We're gonna and then like afterwards, were probably go get
something to eat. But I'm super excited. Yeah, I'm excited to Yeah. I think, Okay, let me go and get my tickets to Yeah. I gotta have my hoodie ready because because at the movie theater, like I don't like sitting on the chairs and like other people's heads have been there. That's how you know when I try I traveled on a train playing whatever, I always have my hoodie over my head. Yes, I've traveled with here. Yes, because I don't care what the season it is. I
don't care if I'm going to Mexico. To Mexico, that hoodie is on my head because I don't want those germs from I didn't know that that was the reason why. I just thought that you extra, that's you being an extra. No, I don't want those germs in my hair on my head, like that's crossed, all right. I feel you on that yes. So when I go to the movies, me, Corey Garter and Warreen will be hoodied up. Okay, I just want y'all know Robin just put her hoodie on top of
her head. I know y'all can't see it, but I'm telling y'all what she just did. And she did it with like intentions like further yes, yes, um, okay. So I have a story about my girlfriend, Erica Lyles, who is you know, if you guys follow the show or whatever, everybody knows that's my my really good girlfriend of like thirty years. So she is about to turn This is her year of turning fifty. So she had a list of things in the beginning of the year and she
was like, this is my year of fifteen. There's all these things that I want to do, and I'm I'm inviting everybody and you know, no pressure for you to come and participate, but it's pressure, and I'm like, okay. So then we got to this part of the year and one of the things that she wanted to climb out kill him and jerm And she was trying to sell me on the idea, but she was selling me on this experience in the wrong way. Because she was okay, so it's like nine days, so we're gonna we're gonna
take our time climbing. So I'm like, okay, nine one on a mountain, So like, are there rest stops? And she's like okay, So we have people that help us take our things with us, the sharpies or charmers or they're called something, and they're gonna help carry all your stuff. So I'm like, still, where's the bathroom and she's like, well, I'm not really sure. So I was like strike one okay.
So then I was like so yeah, yeah. So I was like, so you expect me not to bathe for nine days and she was like, well, yeah, like we'll have wipes. What that was strike two and three okay? So then I was like, so then at night, where am I sleeping? And she was like okay, So we have these tents that the the charman's or the people carry up. So what's in the tent? Like it's in a mattress. She's like, oh, well, like you know, it's a tent and what strike four or five and six?
It's not happening. So she put this out, this email out to like a bunch of ladies and she got fifteen people to go, right, fifteen crazy people. No, I'm sorry, fourteen fourteen crazy people to go. Mount Kilimanjaro is in Tanzania, in Africa, in Africa, and it is the highest mountain I think in the world. Yeah, I think so. Yes, So you're you're dealing with elevation issues. You're dealing with a whole lot of stuff air, like the lack of
air and everything cold. And yes. So at the end of it, she got so these are all black women, successful, beautiful, accomplished black women. And out of the fourteen, twelve made it to the highest point because they had the option to stop and do what because two people said I can't do this some more and they had to. I guess they helicopt them out of there. I don't know they got them out of there. Um that would probably twelve made it. Say like two people died, No, okay,
no one died. Like fourteen people. I've made it to the top. They made to the top. Now on the way down, I do know that some people had to be carried down and people were having like the elevation made people have horrible headaches. They were throwing up. Um. But long story short, it is the biggest group of black women to ever climb Mount kill Ever. I was watching her stories and first of all, I was like, how do you get a cellphone out there? Okay, so wait,
so wait. So she knows somebody who um does a lot of work in Tanzania and in just Africa in general, and they were able to get like some hotspots and maybe they brought can you bring WiFi with you in as they brought WiFi in a box or something, I don't know. They had special cell phones, special cell phone so they were able to there were some areas that they were able to get cell service. One night, I'm sorry, one night she FaceTime me. A couple of nights she
FaceTime to me. It was her night. It was during the day of me and she was so at night was like the worst time because it was very very cold, so they would like layer up. She was like, Giselle, I'm on like seven layers and I mean, I'm just trying to make it through the night. And I'm like, girl, no one told you to do right. This is your torturing yourself. And I was thinking, like this makes no sense, but at the end of it, you accomplished it. So
it did make sense. Oh yeah, sure, I mean I saw I was watching her stories and I was just I was amazed. I was amazed. I was impressed. I was very proud of them. I mean, it's that was a lot. And I reflected. So, Giselle, you remember when you and I went camping? Oh yeah, oh my gosh, my god, Robin and I went camping for one night? It was it one night or two? Was it too or was it one? I think it was one night. I don't know how many nights it was. Robin I
did a pilot. We can talk about it. Robin had did a pilot for was it rob I don't know it was. Yeah, it was for Bravo. It was a show that was going to be on Bravo. It has not, you know, seen the light of day for whatever reason. But um, it was about We were with Dohani Jones, who was a former NFL player but he's been. Um he does like some travel shows and stuff. He's like an outdoorsy type guy, travel guy. Yes, he's like super fun, interesting, um, and he was The show is about taking talent like
Bravo celebrities or whatever. And I guess it was not just Bravo, but like you know, quote unquote celebrities um into the wild, the wild and the outdoors and like doing stuff like that. They kind of you know, I've never been lied to so much by producers. Then doing that pilot, they lied to us about everything. They lied to us and said we were going glamping Robin and I was sleeping on the ground. Oh yeah, I feel
like right, we're no. Wait, they lied to us. Remember they put us on a boat like this really nice yacht and we were going to pull up, pull up to the sands whatever. They were like, bitch, get out and swim. Yes, how many times you gonna lie to me? Step it? They lied the entire time, and every time that they were about to lie to us, they would come to us with like blank faces and look sad, and then they were like we need you. Oh. And then we had to do um oh here zip lines,
zip line. Oh my god. We went to this huge high I don't know, mountain or something. We had to zip line down it. And so we were like, no, we don't want to do it. We really don't want to do it, and they were like you gotta do it. At the last minute, they were like, oh, It was terrible, but we had a lot of fun. It was fun. It was definitely an experience I've never I've I've never been camping before. You know, you're outside and all I'm thinking about is, you know, the bears and the what
was it buffalo that were what was that boars? No? No, they were Okay. So we were in California on this I like it was like a mountain off the coast to California because we had to take a ferry to the to the mountain. Right, yes, and they said it was I think they're buffalo that were like brought there years ago for some movie that they filmed. Yeah, and they're still and they have and they're still there. Mut they don't. They're no joke, No they're not. I saw
a video. Oh my gosh, I gotta find it was a video of a buffalo attacking attacking a man. But anyway, um, so we're on this mountain with the buffalo. There's buffalo shit everywhere everywhere and so one a wait minute, we do remember one of the exacts came to check on us. Yeah, she came via helicopter, right helicopter her. I asked it there, I said, how to me Robin and rolled out. Me and Robin are shivering. We just got out the water. We're looking crazy. We hadn't gone to the bathroom properly
in days. But it was horrible. Yeah, yeah, it was horrible. And so so I reflect on that, like and think about what they did, Yes, what Erica did for nine days nine days killing Majar all the way to the top of the highest mountain like in her in her stories, you literally could see like the clouds, like they were literally in the clouds, that's how high they were. Yeah, I mean, and just imagine like the scenery, how beautiful that was, and the stories that they have to tell
about it, right, Yeah, that's awesome. And then when you just think about like how small we are as a human and climbing that the largest mountain in the world, like that is like, that's that's incredible. That's awesome. And so apparently you sit there they're doing some content for it or something. So in this group of women, one of the other ladies was Malock Rock, who's Chris Rock's ex wife. And you know, Erica knows people in these streets.
So own magazine, the journalists for them came with them and interviewed them along the way. So because it was out there, Gayle got a wind of it, Gayl King, So they came back. They were interviewed on is that Good Morning America? Is gayl Good Morning? Now? Gayl is girls like CBS CBS is Morning Show? Gayle interviewed them, they run the Today Show being interviewed about it. Um, they have like these beautiful medallions that they wear. Maybe
they bought that themselves, Like who, who? Where the medallions come from? Erica? Maybe that's like a gift that that who the mountain the mountain people give you? Who knows? Clearly they but yes do. But because of the publicity of it, people have reached out to them for a potential movie, potential book. Um, and yeah, I want all that to happen because I'm very interested in the bigger story. Did Erica leave um the stories like on her highlights on her page she might have. Yeah, let's see if
she did. Yeah, then you are you guys can visit her page and look at it because it's really amazing. Yes, Um, so I was gonna meet her at the bottom. After they came back down, they went to the coast of Zanzibar and went to this beautiful resort and they all celebrated. So I was going to meet them for the celebration. But it's her page still private. I'm sorry, I don't think it is okay. So if you go to her page, Eric allows Erica with a K L I L E
s um. She has it all in her her stories highlights. Yes, so you can see the killerman jar right. I said, Hey, I have an idea. I'd like to climb Mount Kilimanjaro. My dear friend Mulock and I have been talking about this for five years. Now, let's do it. It's my year of turning fifty and I have. But the Zanzibar portion of it was in the middle of Bravo con so clearly I couldn't do that. I don't know if Andy Cohen would let me going over to Zanzibar and
kick it. I mean, you could have chosen not to go to Brabacon true story on Pats, but then all the people would have been so sad that they could see they were like rabbing. Were's that right? Where's that right? And they couldn't tell me that. You know, they named their cat after me. Yes, but we have we have news about cat's name Giselle. Yes, we have received at least three people who have written into Reasonably Shady to
say that they have also named their cat Giselle. Okay, so did they do it after I made an announcement that this woman named her catches up a week so you talked about it on the podcast like maybe three weeks ago, three or four weeks yes, and people literally were like someone was like, yeah, I never write in, I never write into anybody, but I'm writing to tell you that I also name my cat Giselle. Okay, that's weird,
and I want to know why. Like, I don't look at cats and be like, oh, we should name the cat Giselle. Like you look at a cat and you're like, oh fluffy, oh sneezy, um cinnamon, So Gizelle Giselle. Isn't there a cat species? Like that is a good zelle? That's no, that's a um not. That's not a cat species. That's a antler, that's like a it's a deer gazelle. Yes, are you thinking lyon? No? No, I was thinking good. I thought that. Now that's okay. I'm honored that y'all
are naming y'all cat after me. I just don't get it. Yeah, well it's because you have green you have green eyes too. But Robin is not a cute cat name. It's not whatsoever. No, Okay, So this lady, she said, Hi, Gizelle and Robin. First of all, I want to say that you two are iconic. I love you both on the show, and your podcast is top tier. I want to address being. I want to address Giselle being shocked about a Bravo fan naming
their cat after her. Well, Giselle, I'm here to tell you that my boyfriend and I named our cat after you. Do we have after you? It's not just coincidentally, right, they named it after me. I think the cat's name is Giselle Bryant. Okay, So she said that we have a tortoiseshell cat and they are known for their green eyes and sassy behavior. Based on that description, we named her after the legendary Giselle Bryant, but we call her Gigi for short. Child Mary cute. Is that a picture
of the cat? What is this? No, but it didn't come out there it is okay, oh wow, Okay, in the picture of the cats. Okay, so she said homeball as well in the d M v um Lee Fate Cunningham the third thank you. I'm honored. At this point in time, I think I'm honored to be named after these cats. I think, yes, that's a compliment. It's a compliment. Okay, So no one's ever named anything after me. I've had I know, I've seen people come up to one and
say they've named their dogs after him. Yeah, they named him like Dixon the Oh yeah, okay, that's like Maryland fans. Like Maryland fans, they've named their like Okay, Um, I do want to before we get into some other things I wanted lastly, I want to talk about um Deon Sanders. Oh what about him? We love he's doing his things. I was watching sixty Minutes or somebody told me that
he was on sixty minutes. I missed it. Yeah, And they talked about all the money that Jackson State is now acquiring because of Dion for their program, for their sports program. When he got there, like they literally practiced in the mud. They didn't have like an athletics center. They would go to a high school and use their athletics center. They didn't have a field. They don't they have a field feel? But when it rained, it was mud.
Oh it was a hot So he's been able to pump all this money into the school and bring so much awareness to HBCUs. Y'all know, I went to Hampton, so this is like very near and dear to me, and I you know, I just want to give a little shout out to Den. He's doing great things. Slot of folks sit back on them twitter fingers and talk about what they're gonna do, and and I wanted to go, do it. Change the perspective of of HBCU football, make everyone step up to the plate and do what's right
by these kids. I love what he's doing, want to so um like that's like is like idle in the coaching world because Dion is at an HBCU and he's very vocal about like speaking up for the lack of resources and the inequality and and you know everything that they need, and he kind of like, you know, like one is a very um he doesn't really use his voice like that, although I believe that if he did, he could be just as motivational and powerful, but he just,
you know, he's just kind of like a low key guy, like he's not really big on social media and stuff like that, but it would be great if he used it for that. It would be it would be But he's just not really comfortable just being like in the spotlight like that, you know what I mean, where Dion like he's been Dion neon Dion forever forever saying that's like, yeah, he loves the attention, he loves that, and I think
that's awesome that he's using his voice that way. UM, and you know, hopefully, you know, I mean hopefully they hopefully it can bring awareness to all of the h b c us because they all need support and they all need people to believe that these teams can win championships. And I love the fact that Dion is now getting his UM. He's getting the number one picksh. So it's it's it's it's so much more difficult when these HBCUs keep losing and keep losing and keep losing because nobody
wants to fund these losing teams. But Deon getting these number one picks UM changes the game. Yeah, I mean it's hard because it's like what comes first, the chicken or the egg. It's like they want you to win and then they'll put them, pump the money into it, but you can't win without the talent. And in order to get the talent, you have to attract them with something, you know. And so it's really hard to compete with
these major, these big institutions. But because Dion is so powerful and you know, so influential, people trust that he's going to do right by their kids and you know, his son. I believe it's the quarterback and dance. Press conferences are actually comedy Central, so I can I can recall to I'm gonna give you one once. Um, somebody asked him, you know, like, what what motivated you this game for y'all to win? He was like, motivation, motivation. I don't need no motivation. I woke up this morning.
My eyes woke up this morning. That's all the motivation I need. Do you know where I come from? My mama motivated me, Daddy motivated me, motivation motivated. I'm like, oh my god, dear, he was just asking you about this game, right, but you give us a solidoquy or motivation. Hilarious, hilarious. But it's awesome because it's bringing attention not just the den but to his school. It's like, you know, what does he saying? Who is this? Like that is that's hilarious,
It's so funny. But we're gonna do swack. Who is baby? I ain't swat? Okay? So swack is like what Southern is its South Southwest Conference or something? Anyway, that's the conference that Jackson State is in. Okay, So somebody another coach tried to say that Dion wasn't really um, he doesn't really, he's not doesn't represent the conference, yes, because he's probably gonna be there for another to three years
and he's out. So they were like, Deon's not swack and he and it was Dion's turn for the mic. He was like swack Do you mean? Who white swack? If I ain't swack right right? I was like, what is happening? Who is swape? If ain't swag? Who is swage? If I ain't swat? Who is swat? Baby? Who is? But But but the funny thing is he turned it into like a positive because he got the whole Jackson State fans chanton who is baby? Who is swack? Baby? Like at the time, I didn't know what swack was,
and I was like, I'm swack. I want to be swacked. Please let me be swack. I was like, please, baby, please, I want to be crazy. He is. But that's awesome. That's awesome for those kids and and I'm happy that he's able to get the talent and parents realized like, Okay, Dean has been there, done that. He cares about these kids and he's going to coach them like they're his own son, you know, and he wants them to be successful. It's not just about patting his pockets. It's about the kids.
And that's you know, and a little plug. You know. For one, he's a former professional athlete, has been there, done that, He's won a national championship, and that he's able to recruit talent to come to Copping State because of that. But it's a it's an uphill battle. We need one to do some press interviews like Dion, Oh my god, I would I'm going to repost them if he could get up there and be like, Copping what you mean, I ain't coming, I'm coming state, I'd be
like I want to be coming to right. I have something to read from one of our lovely um listeners. This is from Naomi Christine Lincolny. Y'all. I'm sorry, I'll be saying I'll be saying your name is wrong. Okay, here we go, Dear Robin and Gisell. I got my own shady moment listening to this week's episode when Giselle read the email from your Sweden based Norwegian listener, being all touched and wanting to frame the email. So she's also from Norway, yes, and I think she's pretty much
saying like you're not the only one bit. Oh okay, Okay, I like this. You know I like that. That's kind of shady, Okay, she said, Because I'm a Norwegian living in France and I've been thinking of writing you guys for weeks. Oh, I like this, Okay, she's I'm a huge fan of r h OP and died when I discovered your podcast last winter. You had me hook since
day one. So glad you are still part of the cast because Giselle's shade and Robin's way of nipping problems in the bud are both super entertaining to watch, very nice than. The reason I wanted to write you is that during my pregnancy I had a beautiful baby boy in July. Listening to you guys joke around really cheered me up. I struggled with mixed emotions as I was doing my last year of Masters, and my due date was around the time I had to write my thesis.
So yeah, I coped with depression mainly by listening to you and laughing out loud while I was walking every day. Reasonly, schey is the perfect cure for hormonal pregnant ladies, combined with lots of physical exercise. I love that laughing moms give happy babies. Please please continue making excellent content and Giselle, if ever back in Paris or Oslow, I didn't go to Oslow, You've got a tour guide. Naomi's gonna keep my door guide. Lots of love from Naomi in Normandy.
And she's an Italian Norwegian Dutch living in France with her ivory in husband and two kids. Is that the same way of saying white ivory av cult. Yeah, so that would be okay, Okay, now Naomi, I think she sent a picture of her baby so cute. Okay, Wait a minute, she said, ps. Shady plus hungry is shungry. I love that. I like that too, because that's what you are right not today though, I think you eight. Did you eat today? No? No, not yet. But you
you be shungry all the time. When Robin gets hungry, that's when she gets shady. Otherwise she's reasonable. Is that right? Yeah? You think so? Yes, indeed, sung that's cute. Okay, we got a couple more emails. Yeah, um, okay, so this says high green eyed bandits and also Carly, whose eye color remains unknown to us. Carly's eyes are brown, yes, and not a green eye band. She's not a green eye band And Carl still has not scheduled eminem for the record, shame on her. Yes, all right, um, this
is from Isabelle Angus. My partner and I are huge fans of you both and of your podcast. It is actually the only podcast I ever listened to. Even though I'm a millennial. We've got the young folks. So millennial? Is is that like Ashley's age? She's dirty something millennials? Because a millennial? Okay, so all right, all right, you are both so funny. Whenever my girlfriend Megan and I have a couple's fight, one of us usually gets told to go off and listen to Robin and Gizelle to
calm down again, What now, we're coming, we're calming the argument. Yes, it really works, and it's now becoming a defining pillar of our relationship. Love it. She said, I'm the Robin and she's the Gizelle. Hence why I am writing this email so politely and with a proper greeting and salutation as specified by Robin. Thank you, Isabel, you know I
appreciate that. Yes, So here are our questions. Number One, if you had to cast any housewife on the next season of r H O P from any other franchise, current or previous, which housewife would you add to your cast and why would they be a good addition? Oh? Wow? Okay do we get asked this all the time? I feel like like or they'll say, like, what franchise would you want to be a part of? You know, who would I want? Who? Who do we think would be good? A good mix for Potomac? Um? I don't know, it's
like so many. I mean, I feel like you can throw so many different people in the mix and it'll just be interesting to see the dynamics. Um. I would almost like a Brandy Glanville a type of situation. I'll take a Tamera Tamra. Yes, because you know you're gonna get just some drunken unnecessary nonsense, right, Because I think Brandy and Tamara I put them in the same boat. Do you really know? You don't know? Okay, I would. I would because tam is not always drunken nonsense, that's true.
And I feel like Brandy. Brandy always drunken. Okay, yeah, okay, Brandy come through. So I feel like Brandy just for like the entertainment value and just for like the like the wild card value. Um. I also think of this is like kind of on the polar opposite like Kenya. Oh yeah, I think Kenya would have everybody on their toes. Yeah, I mean everyone like I'm not not like I think she would. She would make sure that nothing goes yes,
um true. I think Porscha would be fun. Um you know she she would want to go, she would want to work and and um, drink some Hennessy and just have fun. I'm trying to think of anybody in Jersy. No, you know what I wouldn't mind taking just to see, just to interact with her a little bit. Um a Lisa vander Pump right, Yeah, I would like miss her like she's one of those people that, like, we haven't seen it so long, and it would be nice to see, like, see her on TV again, see on TV, see how
she she would interact with our group. I would like that Karen would want to be her best friend, of course, and I would not let that happen. Nope, not happening. So yeah, okay, that's another question. Her second question, do you think you'll ever come to Australia so that my girlfriend and I can meet you and hopefully somehow become your lesbian friends from down under? Don't let Michael Darby give you a bad impression of us? All sees okay, but what did their sexuality have to do with um
us being friends? I'm confused, but yes I have I have asked because um Ashley was married to Michael. I have asked numerous times. Can are one of our trips to be to go to Australia because it would makes sense. Yeah, we could meet, you know, some of Michael Darby's family. We don't want to meet him at this We don't at this point and it's not happening. But you know, it's Sydney or the other place. Was that the place? Sydney and Melbourne? They say like, yeah, there, it's far
to get there, so we have to get there. We have to recoup from getting there, like I get our minds right, and then we got to film. That's a lot. Yeah, But I mean I would love like Australia. I feel like as I get older there, I definitely want to explore more. So, like you know, filming for the show or not, I would love to visit Australia. Yes, yea Ultimate Girls trip for Robin's in Australia. Yes, with Brandy and Tamra. Yes, yes, yes, yes, Oh my god, Oh
that's funny. Another email, Um, this is a good question that maybe people could learn from. Hello, ladies. I'm currently listening to Robin's Shady moment on episode fifty five Shady Girls Summer, and I have a comment about that. I'm not I can't remember what it was. Back at the end of February, I purchased an inexpensive self cleaning litter box off of a website that I thought was a
good website. My payment went through and I got an order confirmation, but I never received the next email saying my order was shipped. A few weeks went by, so I figured I would email the website and ask for a status update on my order. I never heard back from them, and still to this day, I have not received my litter box nor an email saying they will refund my money. There's no other way to get in contact with them. I got scammed. Do you have any
advice for situation like this? Love you ladies? Can't wait? First Season seven premiere of this is older email. Okay, So honestly, when this happens, like, yes, your first thing you should do is reach out to the company, give them time to respond, and you know, see what happens.
I will say from experience as a business owner. It it it irritates me when people instantly file a grievance like they filed they go to like PayPal and file a UM I can't remember the name, but like it'll say like oh this like that, they're like filing the same they they didn't get their product because a lot of times it gets lost with like the post office. All right, and I'm like, so, don't instantly go to your your payment provider um, your credit card and file
a claim without reaching out to the company first. Good. That's good because they'll follow. And I'm like, if you had just email me, I would have been able to look it up, find your order, to find your tracking and giving you the information. And now I'm dealing with a fifteen dollar charge from the card company, you know what I mean. So the businesses get penalized when people file grievances. Anyway, she did the right thing. She reached
out to them. So now when you when you reach out to them and you don't hear back from them, then then you can come form. Then go to your credit card company, call your bank whatever you know, however you whatever you paid using, whether it's PayPal or your bank or your credit card, blah blah blah, go to
them and they will open up a case. Okay, case, So they'll open up a case, they'll reach out to the company, they'll give them time to respond to the case, and then they'll make a decision on, you know, whether or not you should get your money back. So is there a dollar amount on opening up a case because it feels like you bought some bubble gum, Like are we opening a case for that? Like? Is there a
dollar amount? Not? Really? I mean no, one's opening up a case for bubble camp one bubble gum online anywhere. But no, I mean, I don't I like what I like, right, okay, So so, but companies might like create like a Visa Amex, they might have a limit like if it's not over twenty dollars or something, you know, you can't file a claim, I would assume. So I don't know. I don't think so. I mean, honestly, it doesn't hurt to try. So like I would, I say, go to your card company, asked
them to reverse the charge. Um, they'll look into a case that's that doesn't look good on the company. Also go to the Better Business Bureau put in a bad comment on the company. It's unfortunate because there are a lot of these companies that this company actually might be in China, and you're probably going to get it like
four months later, right. I remember one time I bought a light fixture and it was too big, I think or something, and I said I'm going to return it, and they hit me back and they were like no, like we would like for you to keep it because it's gonna So I was like, okay, but I don't want it. So then I don't know, we went back. I don't know how we resolved it, but they were really like, we do not want to ship this back right Yeah yeah, so yeah, just just go to your
card company. But it is definitely a good good to like just in general, just telling people like when when you don't get your product right away, like reach out to the company first and give them a minute to reply. Okay, we're gonna read this last one. Then we got to get out of here. Okay, so high Rid to Giselle, this is from um Gerald. I love watching you two on Potomac. I thank you both are. It's very inspirational
in your own unique ways. Robin because I feel like you humanize the housewives and gave us an amazing glow up story. Yes, you do glow up. You better glow up. Better upgrade you. Okay, all right, that was too much. And Giselle because you let nothing phase you and definitely know how to keep it pushing. Yes. I wish nothing but the best for your continued success. And I just want you guys to know that the podcast has helped me survive some extremely rough days. God bless and good luck.
And they said, ps, we do want Robin to shuck and job. I don't even know what that means to shuck and job you're supposed to. That's it was a few weeks ago. I said on the podcast, like how I don't I guess it was saying like, you know, people call me boring and I'm like, what do you want me sitting chucking? Job? Was like before m Okay, alright, no, I don't want you to shock you. Okay, that's It's okay.
But we definitely appreciate all of the feedback. We definitely appreciate when you guys give us like so much love and you know, thanks for listening. It's like a beautiful thing. It is. It's a beautiful thing. And what episode is this? What number is this? Do we know? This is episode sixty nine? And on that note, this is for your partner. Okay, we see where Robbin's head is, okay, and that is our episode. We absolutely love you guys. Don't ever forget
