This is a quick update of the COVID-19 outbreak in the metropolitan area. In the US there are 533,378 confirmed cases and it’s being said that number will reach the 1 million. 368 people have died from the disease across the capital region of D.C., Maryland and Virginia, health officials say.
As of Sunday morning, 14,294 cases of coronavirus had been diagnosed. D.C. had 1,523 cases, Maryland had 7,694 and Virginia had 5,077.
