Really, really really, Hey, everybody, it's Jason Alexander. And if you're thinking, hey, where's announcer Noah, where's the witty opening? First of all, aren't I good enough? And second of all I can tell you that everything is fine. But on today's episode of Really No Really, there is no
episode Really No Really. As you almost certainly know by now, Los Angeles has recently suffered a number of horrifically destructive and deadly fires, and because we record our episodes in batches, we've been able to bring you new episodes even as this tragedy was occurring. But our production schedule has finally
been impacted by the fires. Some of our show family have been directly impacted and have been displaced from their homes, and every Angelino is still dealing with the environmental impacts from the toxic smoke and the ash, and even the recent rains. Although they've been a block in regard to actually extinguishing the fires, they present a threat of mudslides
and flash flooding. And it's a mess. And those of us who are lucky enough to not have been directly in harms wing are now doing all we can to help our friends and family and neighbors who literally left with nothing but the clothes on their backs. So all of this has made it impossible to deliver a show for you this week, but please don't worry. We will
be back next week. We will be back with more bizarre z any mind blowing, off the wall, science, pop culture, and in the news topics that make me and Peter say really, no, really. And in the meantime, if you're a listener in the LA area, we hope you are
safe and well and getting the help you need. If any listeners want to donate to the relief efforts, some of the notable charities that are doing really good work include the American Red Cross, Baby two Baby That's the number two Baby two Baby, California Fire Foundation, the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank, give directly dot org, and the World Central Kitchen. And of course, please folks research any
charitable organization before donating for your own comfort. Charity Watch is an online source and it's an excellent source for information on all reputable charities. If you're a fan of our show, we do hope and ask that you would click that subscribe button, as that makes our lives and hopefully yours better and easier. Hey, there's lots of big plans and fun shows coming up for you, so please let your friends know about us, and we thank you for your support and thanks for allowing all of us
to share this podcast with you. In the meantime, stay safe, stay well, let's try to be kind to each other. It's not that much to ask, and we will be back with here next week. Really new, really Man. If I had that bell, I would be clanging that right now. I'd be driving Peter crazy. I miss that bell. H
