Episode description

Emmy-winning actor Peter Scolari, who won an Emmy for HBO's Girls, died on Friday morning. This is my very deep talk with Peter, which we had in October 2017. I hope you enjoy it. I didn't know him well, but in the hour or two I spent with him I could feel that he was a warm, emotional, caring person. I think you'll feel the same. Peter and I talk about everything from Bosom Buddies to Newhart and Madoff. He opens up about drugs and alcohol, depression and learning he has bipolar disorder. He gets deeply analytical about life, friends and acting. He also talks Tom Hanks, Bob Newhart and Six Degrees of Separation.
