Taboo/Dark Places || Be Kind, Not Egotistical Wednesday || Ep. 1

Welcome to the first episode of my "Be Kind, Not Egotistical" Wednesday segment. Today's episode is very raw, and I tried to leave it as authentic as possible. I recorded this episode in the early hours of the morning, after getting back from the hospital with my Mother (she wasn't feeling well). I touch on the reason why Taboos exist within our societies, and the fact that we need to all take accountability for the part we play in the negative situations our societies face. I also present a sequence of poems, written by yours truly; and I also share a tribute poem in solidarity with the #BlackLivesMatter movement. 🙏🏾♠️🌱
