"Hit A Lick" is real story of the senseless brutal murder of an innocent man by a crew of dumb criminals and the ridiculous court proceedings and appeals process. Also, in this episode, Woody interviews a retired career correctional officer that heard, first hand, the confession of the crime in this episode. She also had daily interaction with the criminals and has a unique perspective from inside the jail.
