He was the first strategist hired at Wieden and Kennedy in 1991 and was a part of the leadership team that grew the company from a small shop in Portland to the global creative agency it is today. He was the head of strategic planning for Apple as it launched the Mac vs. PC campaign, apple.com, the iPad, and the iPhone.
