Why Hasn't This House Sold https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/15... Is rate shopping not a thing? We were pre-approved by a lender. Once we got into contract we started rate shopping. We found an incredible rate from another lender and took that to our original lender to see if he could match it (since it would be easier to deal with someone who already has our documents v starting from scratch) and boy was he pissed.
